{EDCT} Under the Wide Open Sky

”Finally”

Tiana slumped onto the grass with a heavy sigh and stared up at the sky. The day was going to be over soon, as Tiana could easily see from the setting sun. It was actually very pretty, and Tiana found herself gazing at it with a little mixture of awe. It certainly made up for the first part of her day. She’d gotten onto the bus and driven all the way out here before finally having to unpack her things. Fortunately for her, her cabin mates seemed nice. If she’d been stuck with rambunctious teenagers, Tiana was likely to camp outside or drown herself in the lake to save herself the misery. Still, unpacking everything had exhausted her more than she expected. Now all she wanted to do was lay out and let the world pass her by for a while. Which seemed to be exactly what she was doing until she heard footsteps. Tiana glanced up and immediately recognized the figure despite being upside down.

”I thought I saw you on the bus. Here there Em. You loving this little trek into the wild yet?’
