Michelle had a theory that children with mutant powers were more volatile than and had a tendency to act out more than the average child. Maybe it was because they could, they had the ability to do so more than the average child. A child was small, A child was easily distracted and found it very simple for them to act out, To find some way to let out that pent up emotion and get a sharp release of relief that we all crave in one way or another. And that could be very dangerous when one could shoot fire out of their hands.
Which is, of course, leds itself well to being employed a school of mutant powered teens. Damage was always going to come about. So it was Michelle’s job to make sure someone somewhere doesn’t blow up the school.
She sat there in her office smoking her mid morning cigarette waiting for her afternoon meeting

Morrigan hated psychiatrists. They were all too ready to psycho-analyze her like their life depended on it. Which was ironic, she had to admit, since she felt like killing so many of them. She never really opened up to any of them because...well it felt like it was a game to them. She sighed outside the guidance counselor's office before knocking and walking in.
"Hey. Morrigan. I had an appointment apparently? It was tempting to skip instead of you picking my brain, but I figured it'd be easier on me if I showed up."

When No, certainly it didn’t seem like Michelle didn’t get invited to many parties especially considering when she told them her occupation. It seemed to put many people on edge as if at any moment Michelle was going to announce that they had an Oedipus complex to the entire room. Which she supposed was somewhat understandable, not many people didn’t like to be fully confronted with harsh truths about themselves or their own insecurities. Michelle noticed things. That all it was to her, if she was out with friends or in some kind of social setting, she noticed things, she simply couldn’t help herself. Her eye was drawn to little details, and her brains just naturally connected dots to form bigger pictures.
But give her credit, she had the good sense not to scream out everything she sees just because she couldn’t turn her brain off…
Michelle didn’t look at Morganna when she entered the room, at least not immediately she had some papers to stack while she spoke “Bold...Blunt...Yet pragmatic...Interesting, she almost muttered to herself before finally looking up at the girl “Please take a seat won’t you? I’m doctor Horrorwitz. Or Michelle if you’re less formal…”

Horrorwitz? Was that a nickname or was that a slip of the tongue? Morrigan decided to err on the side of caution and not address it either way.
"Doctor's fine with me. Not like I have another doctor to differentiate." She shrugged.
"So I'm sure you've read my file, right? I came to the appointment because those with potentially traumatic backgrounds are required to. So if you start asking questions I might just answer them. We'll see." She sat down in the chair across from the doctor and shrugged.
