”Why the fuck didn’t they put me on these before? Assholes.”
Even as Chris said it, a faint smile was still on his face. That’s right; Chris was actually smiling and he hadn’t made a single sarcastic and biting comment to anyone in the past ten minutes. If he thought about the fact Chris would’ve actually been slightly concerned. However as it was he was too happy to finally be free of the pestering ache in his side from the wound. He’d finally gotten painkillers for it that actually worked well, and the results were pretty obvious. He even dodged out of one kid’s way as he exited the classroom. Although he still ended up bumping into someone else on his way out the door.
”Whoa hey th-“
Chris’s sentence abruptly cut off as he frowned slightly at the girl he’d bumped into. Through foggy memory and shoddy recall, Chris felt like a part of him recognized her. He didn’t think he’d seen her in any of his classes, or that she was the friend of the few friends he had. He could’ve simply seen her around school or maybe even out and about town. If he was drunk when he’d seen her, that could explain a lot of things.

Adrianna wasn't quite sure who she was looking for, who she was trying to avoid or who she was going to end up running into first. Her time at Bellefonte when she was a teenager had been filled with faces that she could look at and perhaps put a name to, perhaps not because she had always found herself in a crowd. Whisked away by popularity because she enjoyed being the center of attention, even if she didn't seek it out. After she graduated, she'd avoided it like the plague other than when she was visiting her sister and even then, she stuck close by, not wanting to run into anybody that might whip up some unwanted memories. Like her sister's hot new pursuit.
And then there was the recruiter, the other college guy she flirted with, annnnd she was certain there was someone else. She was heavily avoiding Gabriel because the idea of him seeing her around would bring up questions and potentially blow her cover of being a mature, respectable model who was aged much more than she was. Cash was being avoided because with her luck, she'd see him and Gabe and that would just make for one hell of an awkward situation. Cassie was in class, thankfully but she couldn't tell where the vile Brit that she was infatuated with was or if he was lingering around in one of her classes like some creepy predator. She was only here because she was supposed to meet up with Robbie to talk about everything she was avoiding.
Turning the corner sharper than she had intended, she found herself caught up in a very muscular set of pecs and biceps. Her eyes traveled up, ready to apologize or maybe swear, but when she saw who it was that she'd run into, all she could do was laugh. It hadn't meant to be in his face or at his comment, but the last time she'd seen him was a very strange situation. He was convinced someone had stolen his pizza and that Wolverine was trying to steal his pants. Shortly thereafter he'd passed out and Adrianna had ducked out and back to her sister's dorm. She hadn't seen him since. "Uh, I'm Adrian. We met a few weeks ago when you were slightly...er...inebriated," She smiled and bit down on her lip to keep from laughing again.

"Uh, I'm Adrian. We met a few weeks ago when you were slightly...er…inebriated.”
Like a window being slowly demised, Chris began to see the pieces click together of where he’d seen the girl before. While there were many times he’d gotten exceptionally drunk, he did in fact remember one in particular. While the exact details of that night were lost to him, what he did recall was someone else coming into his dorm room. Once he’d woken up, they were nowhere to be seen. Chris wasn’t sure if it had been a boy or a girl, but now he’d found out the exact intruder who’d caught him that night. Chris took one look at Adrianna and burst out laughing, shaking his head.
”Wait, you’re the one who found me?” He snickered. ”Normally I don’t give out free shows, but I guess you caught me. I knew someone else was there. You usually wander into dorms randomly?”
It was more teasing than anything, if Chris was honest. He wasn’t embarrassed in the slightest that Adrianna had found him like that. He’d simply make sure to lock the door properly next time. The fact he had a roommate now was not going to change Chris’s behavior in the slightest.
”What’s your name? If you told me before I definitely don’t remember it right now. I’m not even going to try to think of what happened.”
