”Feeling the past moving in. Letting a new day begin. Hold to the time that you know. You don't have to move on to let go.”
Rachel sang it softly, her own voice barely audible in relation to the easy-going song playing through the speakers. She felt completely at peace, drifting through a blissful trancelike state of mind. She felt weightless; which was understandable since she was gently floating up a few feet in the air. Suspended by her power, Rachel smiled softly as she kept her eyes closed. Despite what most would expect if they’d come into the room, the gentle music actually helped Rachel relax and focus her mind. It explained how she easily kept herself afloat in the air, facing the ceiling as the speaker drifted close to her as well.
”Add to the memory you keep. Remember when you fall asleep. Hold to the love that you know. You don't have to give up to let go.”
With her focus so centered on herself and the lovely suspended feeling she got from her power, Rachel wasn’t counting on anyone else coming into the room. She couldn’t even remember if she’d locked the door when she came into the training room in the first place. Not that she’d honestly care in the moment anyways.
”Remember turning on the the night, and moving through the morning light. Remember how it was with you. Remember how you pulled me through. I remember.”

The dark-hair boy walked with a steady rhythm to the song blasting through his headphone. The song was practically bursting his ear drums, but that was that point, wasnt it. His shoulders rocked with the beat as he hummed loudly, occasionally tapping the walls with his fingers, bright bursts of colours shooting onto his grey vison before fizzing out.
He burst through the training room doors, bashing the invisible drums floating in the air. The floor beneath his feet thrummed with neon hues, Elliots lips shooting out a mimicry of a guitar. He loved the music- or rather the dancing- made his power go awhal, each step a new colour and each beat a new tone. It was pretty awesome.

He burst through the training room doors, bashing the invisible drums floating in the air.
At that moment Rachel was extremely thankful she had a good grip on her powers. When the burst burst open her eyes did likewise, her power only faltering for a second before she caught herself. Arching a brow, she turned her head to behold the boy who’d interrupted her. Although her eyes widened when she noticed how crazily the colors on the floor were changing wherever he stepped. An amused smile slowly grew on Rachel’s face as she lowered and caught her speaker. She shut it off before motioning to the boy’s headphones, focusing to lift them up off his head. She snickered about the fact she could clearly hear the music from where she was standing.
”Take it easy there tiger! You’re going to end up pulling something from the way you’re flailing around.” She teased playfully. ”Also I’ve heard that music makes things more colorful but this is ridiculous!”

Elliot's eyes focused on the wild, eratic pulses of colour on the floor, laughing heartily as he moved to the music. It wasnt until his headphones suddenly lifted from his head that he realised that someone was in the room with him. His hand lifted to grab his headphones and place them around his neck, the music still blaring from the speakers.
He quickly turned it off before turning to face the girl. Damn. He exclaimed as his eyes fell on the black haired, very hot girl. Oh, um I mean... He cleared his throat, a brief flash of red and green bleeding onto the floor before fizzing away. Hey. Was the only thing he could think to say.

”Damn.”
The exclamation had Rachel raising an eyebrow and smiling wide with mirth. In the first few seconds of meeting the boy, Rachel could tell he was easily distracted. She could also tell he got very lost in his own little world from his entrance along. Part of her wished she had filmed it.
"Oh, um I mean… Hey.”
Rachel couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head. She’d never gotten a reaction like that before. Rachel was both pleased and surprised by it, flashing Elliot a smile. She was still amused by his rather “colorful” entrance.
”Hey yourself. You were really rocking out there huh?” She couldn’t help but tease him, especially after he’d reacted the way he did when seeing her. ”Really colorful too, by the way. I’m guessing that’s your power?” She assumed. ”You’d be awesome at a rave party. Whats your name? I’m Rachel, by the way. Nice to meet you.”

Oh why did she have to smile? Why do the hot ones have to smile. God you must look so much mor ehot in colour. He mused allowed, befor ehis face flushed bright red, a pulse of pink touching the floor for a moment. Um i mean yeah I like music. Plus its fun when my power goes crazy.
He cleared his thoat. Yeah, Im a Chromokinetic. I make colours. God it sounds so stupid when I say it He laughed, running a hand through his dark hair. One day Ill take you to a rave. He winked gently at her before extending a ahnd. Elliot Todd, more commonly known as Rainbow Boy.

"God you must look so much more hot in color.”
Rachel had to blink as the surprise in her expression was evident. She couldn’t help but laugh even as the boy blushed embarrassment. Still she registered his words and had to wonder what he meant by seeing her “in color.” She could only guess that something must’ve been wrong with his vision from that statement.
"Um I mean yeah I like music. Plus its fun when my power goes crazy.”
From the crazy color display she’d seen earlier, Rachel certainly could understand how he had fun with it. She giggled a little.
”I can tell. You looked like you were having a ball.”
Rachel could understand the appeal about using powers for fun because frankly that’s exactly what she’d been doing when the boy burst in. Sure she might’ve said that it was good training, and in reality it was that too. However she really was doing it because she loved the weightless feeling she got.
"Yeah, Im a Chromokinetic. I make colours. God it sounds so stupid when I say it.”
Rachel’s smiled as she shook her head in disagreement, chuckling a little.
”That’s not true. Every power is awesome because it’s something most people on this planet could only dream of.”
Although Rachel had seen some powers that weren’t exactly kind to their users as well.
"One day I’ll take you to a rave. Elliot Todd, more commonly known as Rainbow Boy.”
When he extended his hand, Rachel took it with a warm smile and shook it firmly.
”Rachel Nash. More commonly know as just Rachel.” She teased before dropping his hand. ”So what brings you in here, Elli?”
