POWER INFO: Pantherinae Physiology
Skylar's powers allow her to take the form of an animal, it give her to ability to become a tiger, lion, jaguar or certain leopards (snow leopard, or clouded leopard).
Skyler prefers to take the form of a clouded leopard, as it pertains to her name well, she doesn't mind the other animals, but the clouded leopard is her favorite. Her beast form size varying from a little larger than the average leopard, depending on how well she is able to calm herself before changing forms. Her eyes are a crystal white in this form, it's almost as if her eyes reverse, the center of here eye, where one's pupil usually is (black), turns white, her green irises stay the same while the rest of her eyes turn a deep black color. While messing with her powers, she has managed to stay in this form for up to an hour or so, without any serious side-effects.
In this form she has all the abilities that any ordinary big-cat would have, and then the strength of these abilities relies on how long she is able to channel her energy for. Allowing her to track, hunt, fight (paw-to-paw and hand-to-hand), dig, and basically act like a leopard. The more she shifts her state, the more she has realized that the leopards traits (in particular, due to the clouded leopard being used the most) carry over into her normal form as well. This has made her a bit territorial at times, loves meat whilst avoiding vegetables whenever possible, and at times, she has noticed some of the enhanced senses.
Limitations/Drawbacks
One drawback she has is that, after becoming a leopard, when she returns to her human state, she is almost completely unclothed, usually ending up in her undergarments. She has a fairly good idea on how long the leopard form will last each time but it still makes her uneasy.
While training to extend the time she had in animal form, she managed to stay in that form for long enough, for her to completely forget who she was. During this time she lashed out at her instructor. This caused her to be very cautious when she shifts into animal form, it also has caused her to take on training without a trainer, hoping that she will be able to suffice without a mentor or trainer.
Due to her using nocturnal cats, her eyes have become quite sensitive to light, it has gotten to a point that she always wears a pair of sunglasses.
Shortly after changing from one of her animal forms, her animal instincts sometimes still are present, making her extremely territorial, possessive, protective, and aggressive. She tends to work out a lot more during this time and lucky her it happens almost every time for at least an hour or two after she changes back. Passing out/going unconscious while in an animal form instantly turns her back to normal.
GENERAL APPEARANCE:
She has thick, wavy, long blonde hair that falls down to her shoulders and encircles her diamond-shaped face. A golden suntan usually brings out her smooth, clear complexion and high cheek bones. Her slightly arched chestnut brown eyebrows highlight her emotions by moving up and down as she reacts to her world around her. Her large, emerald-like eyes seem to always be visible, whether it be day or night time. Her curved nose gives her a childish look, and her mouth is smaller outlined by puffy lips. She is very fit, her sleek and slender frame stays fit due to her running everyday. She loves to run fast, she always has a need to go faster when she is running.

Sunglasses, due to her eyes being more sensitive than that of the average person, she has to wear sunglasses through most of the day to keep from blinding herself.
PERSONALITY:
Strong and silent, and this is exactly how she is and is said to be. Until you really get to know Skylar, you will probably not see her true self. She tends to be very stubborn and once her mind is made up, swaying her even a little is very rare. If one does not try to push, she tends to come across as being laid back and reserved. She isn't shy, but she prefers to be alone, being as she is afraid if hurting people close to her again. She is very loyal and will stand beside a friend until the bitter end.
Skylar is very in tune with her emotions and will rarely display them. When she is hurt, usually emotionally, you will not be able to break through the exterior 'shell'. Time is the most effective way for her to heal, whether it be angry at someone or another reason she is upset with someone.
EXTRA QUIRK:
When nervous, Skylar tends to chew on the tip of her thumb, she never bites her nails shorter, it just helps keep her mind off of what ever is making her nervous at the time.When she’s really feeling anxious or guilty, tends to get really antsy, when it gets to this point, people start to notice something is clearly bothering her. This makes her a horrible liar which can be good and bad. She may be able to lie about stuff 'in the moment' but she will soon begin to feel bad about it after and she could let the truth slip out to, alerting unwanted guests. Another thing she tends to do is mutter quietly to herself when she’s thinking hard, reading things, or just having a conversation with herself.

GROWING UP:
Born out of wedlock between Aeiden Blue and Carol Blue, the two scientists took turns taking their precious child with them wherever they went, making sure that Skylar had approximately the same amount of time spent with each parent. Time spent with her father meant that she would know the innards of a city's power plant and time spent with her mother meant that she would get a chance to explore ancient ruins. As a young child, Skylar would go back and forth between the two, soaking up the wide world as only a pre-teen can.
School was a blur for her - in spite of her happy-go-lucky personality, the constant moving taught her not to make strong ties and as such, created a strong sense of independency within her. She adapted well to the shift in the environment and never really struggled in class. On her 10th birthday, she received a baby leopard as a birthday present and the two of them became fast friends. Now Skylar had someone that would never leave her side.
The two of them stuck together like glue, everyone said that the leopard was too dangerous and that it would attack her, but it was the perfect companion for her, always by her side and ever patient - why should she change any aspect of it? That fact never changed, even when her powers came in to play at the age of 14.
The men came and dispersed swiftly barely giving Skylar time to say a true good-bye to her parents. Barely after she had set foot in her new school, only after a mere year had passed, Skylar was called home to her father by an urgent letter from her mother - it spoke of a severe electrical burn that her father had sustained and begged Skylar to return in order to take care of her father. A little surprised at the urgency of the letter, Skylar literally dropped everything she was holding and ran to her room at the school, she immediately wrote a letter home writing. 'Urgent' in bold on the letters. She than asked her teacher if she could meet with her parents as soon as possible and handed her the letter they sent her.
A letter was returned in due time, and her parents soon followed it. A dutiful daughter despite the mock coldness Aeiden greeted her with - she had matured enough to see through his facade easily. She was about to ask about the recovery process when Aeiden, fresh from the hospital, sternly told her to sit down and listen to him for a while. And in the next two hours, he confessed everything about the double-life he lived. Engineer at day, mafia gang member at night.
Her father, in fact, didn't receive an electrical burn, but received several gunshot wounds when a rival gang attempted to muscle in on Aeiden's power plant. Luckily, several members of the transnational crime syndicate showed up to provide support and defend the power plant. It would only be because of their intervention that Aeiden's life would be saved. She was a little incredulous at first, and disbelieving, but her mind slowly accepted the fact that her father and mother had managed to hide something this huge from her.
Her parents left a week later and she refused to speak with them since. She knew that she should and that they didn't want to hurt her, but she just couldn't bring herself to to, "What about my mother? Is she hiding a secret job too? I mean, how the hell do you get a baby leopard?" She was skeptical that her parents had never even told her the truth, I mean, she did look like her parents. Skylar decided that she would worry about it, they had had their reasons to keep stuff from her. "Hmpth." She thought to herself, she didn't need them anyways she lied to herself.
