Devyn had made sure to personally invite Mr. Wolfe, or Levi, out to get a few drinks with her at one of the bars she worked at. Why? Well, he used to work with her wife and while she didn't know how well or not at all her wife knew him, she still wanted to ask him a few questions. Mostly if there was anything shady going down at work? How they were handling anyone that was giving mutants issues? Stuff like that, alone with just wanting to make a friend in the police station in case she ended up there and needed some help out.
Before she had her wife there to help her out if she were to end up in a jam; thankfully she had not yet, but now that her wife seemed to not be working there anymore she needed someone else. Not that she was just outright using the guy; she was certain they would get along and become friends too. Just for now she was kind of using him. The drinks would be one her for the price of him giving her some info and being a connection she could use later on.
Of course she was not going to tell him any of that right off the bat, but time would tell. For now she just hung outside the club, waiting for the guy to show up so she could tell the bouncer he was with her and they could get in when tonight was supposed to be rented out by some VIP.

Things had been on a downward spiral of late. Between witnessing the attack of an innocent girl and his relapse into his poor drinking habits again Levi was finding it difficult to get through a day. His job was not how he thought it would be and even though he wanted to help, he didn’t know how much longer he could last.
Levi had graciously accepted an invitation from his former coworker’s wife. He was more than happy to do so, mostly because it was an excuse to go out and drink, which tended to be more socially acceptable than drinking alone at home. It was odd though. He had never been personally too close to her and although she had kindly taken on of Luna’s puppies there hadn’t been anything more than that and work linking them. He was just glad the pup had gone off to a good home.
The local made his way toward the club and spotted Devyn waiting outside. He gave a slight nod and smile in acknowledgement before getting closer. “Hey. Thanks for the invite. I don’t think I’ve ever been here before.”
