Run. That was what Cash Hunter was good at. Well, among many other things. He loved the strain of the muscles. The rush it gave him.
That was what the dark haired boy was doing at four am in the freaking morning. In his hoodie, running pants and sport shoes, he left his dorm early and set off into a run. From the academy, he went into the woods. Probably was not the wisest idea since it was still dark out but it was a normal path for him. He could run through it even with his eyes closed.
Which led him to the park near downtown where he exited from the woods. With his iPod and earbuds plugged in, Cash jogged through the park. There were not many out this early in the morning -- most people around his age probably opted for sleep at this hour.
At one point during his run, the boy was feeling thirsty. So he took out the bottle of water he had stuffed in the pocket, and took a few gulps of it as he continued on jogging. Not particularly paying attention to his surrounding, Cash did not realize the girl in front of him and he bumped into her, bits of the water splashing onto her. "Woops."

The life of a model was something most couldn't handle so easily. It kicked ass as far as the parties, the social events and the clothing, but in order to keep up the model image, it took a fair amount of working out. Most of Adrian's friends had personal trainers that made them to P90x or other insanity workouts, which of course worked wonders, but that wasn't the kind of exercise Adrianna used to keep her form. She was a runner and had been since she could walk, just as she was a swimmer and a dancer. Being active was in her blood so keeping her physique didn't take someone yelling at her and pushing her to run faster or push harder. Her father being a personal trainer, he'd taught her that not everyone responded to that kind of instruction well and Adri was one of them. She was self-motivated. And with the way she ate, she had to be or she'd be a heffer.
When she was young, Adrian had loved running at night. She was relaxed by the darkness, she fell in love with the night sounds and it was always much less crowded at parks and along the beach. When she moved to Montana, she'd had to change her patterns what with the curfew she'd been given at the academy. The early morning had become her new time for running. It was much the same as running at night, except now she was surrounded by different scenery and the air was more brisk, something she still had yet to get used to even after living in Montana for ten years.
With her hair pulled back, a pair of athletic leggings, a sports bra and a loose fitting zip-up, it was no wonder she felt cold. She'd been taught that running in the cold was better to keep from getting over-heated. Running the length of the park, a few laps around, she paused to check her heart rate that she'd programmed on her phone to measure. In that short time of stopping, someone bumped into her and she felt cold water splashing against the bare skin of her shoulder that had been exposed from her hoody sleeve sliding down. "Dammit! That's cold!" She whirled on the guy that ran into her and the expression on her face looked similarly to what a cat who was thrown into water would have looked like. "Do you need night-vision goggles or something?"

The nineteen year old boy had always been astute and very much aware of his surroundings. But why was that could not be said the same for that morning. Deducting how early it was, he doubted there was anyone around at this time of day. Besides the early hours, the weather was chilly as well -- he did not meet many that braved the weather for a good run. Apparently, he made an error because there was one girl doing what he was doing.
When the two bodies made contact, Cash Hunter jerked his body back but in doing so, he spilled some of the water onto the girl. Uh oh. Luckily for him, his skin escaped from meeting the cold liquid. However, when he heard the girl shrieking, he reconsidered how lucky he really was. He stared at the now half empty bottle with a thin smile.
"I'm terribly sor--," he started to apologize but stopped the girl whirled at him, almost sending the bottle out of his hand and quite possibly spill some more on her. Oh, he knew she would not like that. "You know what, I don't think that would even work. You blend it so well with the dark side. Ever thought of getting headlights? I think that's the only thing missing from your attire now."

Headlights? Or reflectors maybe. She's accept that it was dark and even with her neon pink running shoes, she supposed it would be difficult to make out the shape of her form from behind. With the justification fresh in her mind, she eased a bit and the scowl on her face softened to more of a pout. She wasn't that wet, it was just a few sprinkles that dotted her jacket and skin, but it had been cold and she was a freeze-baby when it came to being in Montana. She was Cali born, made to withstand heat, but not the cold.
She shivered, "Reflectors might match better." It was a joke, not as light-hearted as she may have meant it, but she was grouchy in the morning and she was cold now which was not helping her situation. "Sorry, I'm sooo not a morning person, I'm used to avoiding people this early, not like running into them."
Adrianna offered a small smile and stuck her hand out, "I'm Adrianna. College student, power mimic and model extraordinaire."

The dark haired boy smirked at the first reply he received. Judging from how the girl had reacted earlier when little bits of the water spilled onto her, he thought he would have to endure a long rant by her about how he should have been paying attention to his surroundings or something in order to avoid this kind of situation from happening. Whilst he loved the opposite sex, being nagged by one was just not his cup of tea. Especially when it was an honest mistake.
So Cash Hunter was quite pleased when the scowl she wore transformed into a more softer look. Now that was more like it. "Ha, same here," he agreed, chuckling as he twist the cap on the bottle. Another round of water spilling was not needed. He shifted the bottle onto his other hand and plugged the earbuds out before shaking the hand extended to him.
"Since you've basically given me an overview of yourself, the name's Cash. Cash Hunter. Bellefonte college student. Super speed and while I may not be a model, I am extraordinary," he said, winking. "Care to model for me one day? Preferbably like one of Jack's French girls."

Adrianna smirked at his own overview of himself. Of course he hadn't needed to tell her his ability because she knew based on the aura he had wrapped around him. And based on his looks she'd been able to tell that he was at least in college, though she couldn't quite put her finger on his age. She surely didn't remember him in her own classes, though she vaguely remembered the last name being a hot topic around Bellefonte while she was there. It wasn't attached to the name Cash though, perhaps he had an older brother that was equally as attractive and very popular among the crowd of students.
"I have yet to dive into nude modeling, if I'm to be honest with you. However, private photoshoots, I happen to like a great deal. Photographer's choice of scene, wardrobe and makeup." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, looking down, playing coy as she often did with the opposite gender. It happened to be a trademark move of hers, a deal closer for some. She was still trying to get a feel for this one, whether he liked the brash and confident types, which she most definitely was, or if he preferred shy and innocent. It was really a game for her, a test of her acting skills.
Adrianna looked back up and smiled at him, "So good ol' BA huh? I went there, too. Power mimic, best ability ever if you ask me!" She giggled and wrapped her arms around her torso as she was still a bit chilly and this track suit was definitely meant for looks and not warmth, especially now that she was no longer moving around.

To Cash, rarely did people get his age right. Thanks to his super speed, he aged fairly quicker, thus looking older than he really was. This was a troubling matter for some, but to Cash, he quite appreciated it and thus took advantage of it. It gave him access to things his current age could not get. So you do not hear him complaining.
An eyebrow quirked up when Adrianna told him more of what she liked in detail instead of slapping or swatting him on the arm for what he said. Crossing his arms, he leaned back and his eyes did a sweep from the top of her head down to her feet before travelling back up again. He nodded appreciatively. "Does that mean I can do anything I want with you?" he said with a playful smirk. With the many women he had been with, Cash Hunter had yet to figure a type he specifically liked. However, he did know the types that he did not like. As far as of now, the girl did not fall into that category.
"Well yeah, getting a taste of every type of power there are is pretty cool. But power suppression doesn't fall far behind. There's something entertaining from watching someone looking so lost and hopeless when not able to use their power fully. Or maybe that's just the sadist side talking," he said with a shrug.
Noticing the state she was in, Cash waited no longer to take off his hoodie before stretching his arm out to hand it to her. "I'll be truthful. Though it's comfy, it's sweaty." He chuckled. "Come on, why don't we go find a cafe open or something and I'd treat you breakfast, hmm?"

His comment was met with a smirk of her own and she appreciated the way his eyes danced along her body. At least she had dressed well enough to catch someone's eye, even if it was only because she was in minimal clothing. Even so, she liked having eyes on her, appreciative or jealous looks were all welcome. "I don't think you can afford my rates, cutie. I cost a pretty penny if I'm to model for you," She smiled and fluttered her eyelashes. Of course the way she had put it made her sound like a prostitute, but she was of course strictly thinking of a modeling job. Obviously.
"I've never come across one myself, so I'm not sure how it would work on me. Just render me incapable of suppressing their own ability? I dunno, it's a complicated mess. Sort of glad I've avoided it," She laughed and shook her head, her ponytail swinging behind her. "I'll stick with the easy abilities with few serious side effects."
Adrianna hadn't meant to shiver in order to get him out of his hoody, but she wasn't complaining when he took it off. He was relatively muscular, not quite as bulky as she usually went for, but not gangly either. Fit. As he confirmed that it would be sweaty, she snorted, "I'm pretty sure it won't matter since I've been sweating, too." Adrian shrugged on his hoody and reveled in the warmth of it. She needed to invest in some warmer, yet still cute, track suits. His offer brought a smile to her lips and she nodded, "Sounds perfect. I'm in need of coffee."

An amused look flashed across his face as he crossed his over his chest and arched an eyebrow at the older girl. A part of him was curious to know how much she charged for modelling gigs, but not curious enough to ask her about it. The nineteen year old boy would have replied back something along the lines of how he could probably afford it, considering his family's wealth, but he knew flaunting around the money he had did not always go well with girls nowadays. So instead he simply said with a shrug, "I guess we'd burn that bridge when we get there."
Cash laughed along with her. He nodded, agreeing that it was indeed a complicated one. "I guess you haven't had to encounter one then," he pointed it out. It was a paradox in some way and was an interesting thing to ponder on. But not now because it was too early in the morning to think about all of the technicalities of the two powers.
A small smile flitted across his lips when Adrianna took his hoodie and put it on anyway despite his warning -- glad that she was not one of those prissy and picky types. "Alrighty then, let's go," he said, turning around in the direction of the shops. But halfway to a cafe he usually went to, his steps stopped when he realized the shop was not opened at this early hour of the morning. In fact, not many shops were opened anyway at four o'clock in the morning. "Uh, know anywhere that's open twenty four hours?"
