Wait what….knitting?! Seriously? That was still a thing? Wasn’t that like...abolished in the 18th hundreds? Jack always thought of that sort of thing was on a par with churning butter or a horse drawn carriage….Kitting? WAs Piper like an 80-year-old trapped in a teen’s body or something? Was that her power? Should he ask? Shit, what if it was?! There was boiling hot cocoa right there. She could easily just throw it up and fling it in his face, for saying the wrong thing. She probably wouldn’t….but she might...maybe Before Jack could go for that line of thinking something occurred to him “SHIT!” Jack shouted out suddenly standing up looking panicked “I’m going to late for class...Oh god she’s going to kill me. I have that Red haired tiny teacher this year and she seems like a real ball buster….You...ummm...this...was...y’know...interesting….Fun...yeah..that one

Piper sat in silence for a long moment while Jack seemed to get lost in his own mind. Curiously she watched him, blinking every so often. She suspected there must have been a great deal going on in the brain of his if it was enough to get him to shut his mouth for so long. It was definitely times like these that Piper wished her power had been telepathy or something similar so she could have an idea what people were thinking of when they got lost like this.
She let out a surprised squeak and jumped at Jack's sudden outburst. A soft whimper escaped as she brought both hands up to the sides of her face. Her attention perked up at the mention of a tiny, redheaded teacher but Jack was moving too quickly for her to respond. A hand waved faintly event thought Jack had already rushed off, leaving Piper by herself with a deafening silence that settled over the room in the wake of Hurricane Jack having moved on. With a sigh, Piper watched the doorway where Jack had rushed out of. "It was nice meeting you." She said softly to no one in particular.
