PIZZA PARTY!
Yep, pizza Party! It was the reason Riley was grinning like an idiot while fixing up the place. Considering she and all her friends were still single and it was Valentine's Day, they'd decided to just host a party all themselves. They didn't need dates to have a good time, and to be honest it would definitely help Riley get through the date considering..... No no no she wasn't ging down that hole Get it together Riley. She thought while shaking her head.
She checked over the numerous boxes of pizza and soda they had. Even with the heavy eaters like Chris Grayson they shouldn't run out. Well to be fair I can eat my share too. Riley admitted to herself. She knew Selina Taylor would probably want to eat a few herself, and then someone named Felix Nicholas was coming over too. Riley didn't know him that well but Selina did which was good enough for her. Speaking of Selina...
"HEY SELINA! We ready?" She asked. "Did we get enough movies too? Ice cream too. I'm probably going to eat through all of it.....again....." She trailed off sheepishly before hearing someone knock at the door. She hurried over and threw it open. "Eeyyyy!"

Selina laughed and shook her head, "I have enough movies to last us over 48 hours if we watch them without breaks, I think we'll be good," she returned easily, amused and happy that Riley was so energetic. Selina knew this time of year had to be shit for the woman, considering her recent break-up, so she'd wanted to take Riley's mind off of it all... or at least as much as she could. Having a party seemed the best way to do that. Because why the hell not? Apparently Felix was single as well, so she'd invited him without hesitation to join them.
He seemed sweet, and genuine so she had no doubt that he would be a great addition to their little get together. Selina grinned as Riley mentioned the ice cream, "If three gallons isn't enough, I can always go buy us more," she offered wryly. The freezer was jammed full. Selina had also made sure they were well stocked on wine, beer, and a variety of hard liquor... just in case. Seeing Riley this happy had Selina grinning. The pizza party had definitely been the right way to go.
Selina perked up as she heard someone at the door, letting Riley answer it. She was close behind the woman with a warm smile on her face, "Glad you could make it." The apartment wasn't the biggest, but four would fit cozily inside with ease. Selina had never given a damn about Valentine's before, but she suddenly found herself grateful for the holiday that brought them all together like this. It would be fun.

Valentine's day. Felix, whom despite himself had still chosen to embrace the holiday, had spent the majority of his day off still within the confides of Bellefonte Academy, playing playlist after playlist of oozing love songs for the pleasure of his listeners. He'd strung up garlands, cut out cupids and other ridiculously over the top decorations about the station, and had asked those indulging in the radio station to send in messages for their "special someone". He'd by lying if he said it still didn't hurt... Even though Elsa hadn't exactly been one for the gushy, overly romantic element of their relationship, all of the love related motifs still held a... Sadness. The teacher had hoped throwing his all in would help him overcome it, that he was ready. It had certainly been easier this year... Far easier. It no longer caused an ache in his chest... It was just. Sad. Following his day helping spread the adoration of the festivities, he'd fully intended to spend the final hours of the day alone in his apartment; A few movies, some junk food and the day would be over for another year... Another offer, however, had been presented to him. A text, from one of his neighbours, a young woman named Selina Taylor. The bodyguard of Drew Conner had invited him to some manner of get together, promising pizza and good times; Now with Selina "good times" could mean a variety of avenues, but Felix was certain having gotten to know the woman over the past few weeks that this was just a friendly gathering, no lingerie involved.
Still, the teacher was unsure on if he should take up Selina on the offer... He wasn't certain he was feeling up to being surrounded by people; But that being said, Felix was determined to at least show his face... It would be impolite for him not to. Wearing a simple dress shirt with trousers, the teacher carried a bottle of fairly expensive wine up to the relevant apartment... He'd always been taught when visiting a friend, that you bring something, and he hoped the wine would go down well. He smiled a little once he'd reached the door, chuckling a little at the rather embarrassing memory of his first time at the door's threshold, before knocking. A mere moment later, the door was thrown open by an enthusiastic Riley, Selina's roommate. "Hey!" He smiled brightly, giving the pair a small wave, before holding up the bottle. "I bought wine."
