It was two weeks until their trip and Reid had yet to pack. She was still trying to find out exactly how to diffuse the tension the bricking incident had instilled at the precinct. At least an investigation was finally being done. It wasn't at the level she would have handled it but at the very least, something was being done.
She had actually debated on canceling the trip because she wanted to be around when the investigation started but now that it has, she figured she needed the break.
But a whole other anxiety started. She didn't have anything fancy to wear to the wedding. All she had were ratty band tees, pant suits and corsets. Her initial thought was to just grab the first dress she saw in a department store and call it a day but she did make a promise to herself that she would try. At least for Corey's sake.
She realised as well that she only had two female friends she was close to and that upset her a little. She couldn't ask Bell because God bless her soul, if Reid asked her, the redhead would more than likely bring her to a warehouse that exploded lace and frills.
So Tamara Sulik had to be the one she called. She just hoped the older woman wouldn't laugh at her request.
"Tam...I need to buy a dress for a wedding. With someone I've been...sleeping with for the past three years." She bit her lower lip and waited for the inevitable laughter.
