Did Riley like books? Well yeah course she did. Her favorite Book of all was Dracula for Pete's sake.
But did she like assigned reading?
Now that was a different story.
A story which ended up with her hunting through the rows of Kalispell's public library in order to find the required reading for one of her courses. Yeah just my luck to have gotten to the school library when they ran out of copies. She thought with a sigh as she skimmed through the books on the shelves. She swore she had just been looking over the same five for an hour now. Or at least it felt like that way. She was probably being over dramatic.
Still the librarian had said it would be in this section. Could she have been wrong? That or maybe Riley just wasn't clear enough. Maybe she thought Riley said something else. But she was in the right area so..... Maybe I'm just overthinking things and that's distracting me. Yeah that was probably it. She knew she needed to calm down but she wanted to get out of there and play some music again. She had so much muse for songs right then, yet she was stuck in the one place she could hardly make a peep in! The irony was not lost on her, and she had to smirk.
Clearly seeing as she was having no luck there, Riely sighed and started making her way back to where the librarian desk was. She would have to ask again, even if she felt like an idiot doing so. Although fate seemed to have other ideas because as she walked out of her row of shelves she collided with someone else. "Whoa!" She helped and then heard something belief the floor. Probably a book. Oh shit!
Sorry about that!" Riley said before glancing down and seeing that yes, it was a book that fell. And not only fell, but fell on the pages- holy hell they are going to be so bent and creased!!! Her brain practically shouted at her, making the punky girl help again and hurried grab the book. "Ahhhhhhhh shitshitshit." Yep, they were definitely bent. "Gahhhh....I am so sorry." She said to the person she'd rammed into with a sheepish smile.
