Cosette had just arrived back in town a few days ago. She had, of course, kept up with a lot of her friends back home -- mainly Karsen Ford. Despite their differences and the fact she had ran away the second their relationship -- or whatever it had been -- stopped working, Cosette still cared about him.
She was dressed, prim and properly in a pantsuit. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, and a bluetooth device rested in her left ear. She was currently talking to someone. "Yes, Dahlia. I understand that you need the password for the site, but I am telling you that I cannot relay that information to you over the phone." The person on the other end sounded peeved -- "Well what do you expect me to do, Cosette?"
The woman rolled her eyes. "I will call you later, when I'm not in public." She hit the 'end' button on her phone and shoved the device into her pocket, sighing frustrated. She had to have her car towed to a mechanics, because despite all of her years with Karsen, she was not going to try and fix the issue. She stood in the parking lot, glaring at the old automobile that her mother had bought her; it was a classic; a 309 Saloon. Otherwise she would have tinkered until she had fixed it.
The young woman moved inside the mechanics, calling out, "Excuse me? I need someone to come deal with my car, I have to get somewhere, I cannot afford to be late." She had not bothered to pay attention to the name of the shop she was taken too -- she doubted she knew anyone.
She leaned against a counter, muttering as her phone rang again. "Hello, Cosette. You remember that job interview you did before you left France? You're to work from home -- mainly doing coding and programming, though. Can you handle that?" Cosette allowed her lips to curve as she answered curtly, "Of course. You would stick me with technology. You realize I am trained in pathology?"
The person on the other line spoke out, "Of course, darling, but you are going to college for programming and coding. We'd like to see how your skills develop outside of what we saw while you were here." The woman simply shook her head and agreed -- once again ending the call and depositing her phone into her pocket.
