POWER: Snake Mimicry
Viper's power is the mimicry and behaviour of a snake. Her mind is naturally wired to think and react like that of an snake. Her body produces snake like hormons which creates the snake like behaviour and mannerisms . Because of this she also has the ability to sense heat and her sense of smell is heightened. She also has the ability to produce venom which is contained in glands in the roof of her mouth above her pallet which is then secreted at will through elongated canine fangs. Aswell as this she can also communicate with snakes.


LIMITATIONS:

-She cannot fully shift into a snake; she just has the behaviours of a snake.
-Her power can not be turned off
-The ability to sense heat is dependant on blood sugar levels; the higher the better.
-Her venom is only contained in the glands and fangs, no where else.
-The venom produced is not as potent as that of an actual snake, it does not have the ability to kill the average person, only to make them very ill for a few days is delivered at high quantities.


SIDE-EFFECTS:

-Cold bloodedness; she needs to be kept in high heats otherwise she can become lethargic and ill.
-Slitted Pupils
-Confrontational Behaviour.
-Agressiveness. 
-Elongated 's' sounds when speaking.
-Urges to eat rodents and other prey animals.

MISC: Viper's face is covered in freckles. She also has many scars from falling over and hunting in the woods. She also has 5 piercings on her ears. She often wears cloths which are easy to move in that mask her scent and keeps her warm. Her lips are also heavily scarred where she bites them.





PERSONALITY: Viper isnt by nature mean. Originally she was a very sweet girl, but after her manifestation she became solitary and agressive. She struggles to relate to humans, because of her power. She doesnt understand what others may deem gros or weird, nor does she undertand the whole personal boundries thing. Most of the time is she quite chill, if left to her own devices, but is anyone tries to mess with her she can become the queen bitch from hell.


She prefers to be alone, and left to hunt. Being indoors for any amount of time tends to freak her out a bit, but once she is outside she is easy and a little more agreeable. Viper also is very self consious of her speech impediment, that way her 's' sounds are elongated like a hiss. She is mostly quiet, but she does find joy in freaking people out. She also finds great joy in photography, mostly capturing images of nature.

CHILDHOOD: Viper, born in LA, is the product of a one night stand. Her mother got drunk at a party, and a few montsh later she found out she was pregnant. She never told the father, and gave birth to Viper. Vipe grew up in a small house in central LA, knowing nothing of her father. 

Her and her mother moved to Australia when she was 9, where Viper attended a school in Darwin. She spent her weekends learning how to surf. Her time in australia was pretty uneventful, but her mother became a snake handler. Viper often accompanied her to pick up snakes from someone's house. 


ADOLESCENCE: Viper's manifestation came fairly early, when she was 13. She was in school when she began to feel dizzy and her mouth and teeth began to hurt. She was sent home, where her mother just put it down to a cold. A few days later Ainia brought home a snake, and left it in the tank in Viper's room. The girl swore she could understand what the snake wanted.

The next day someone knocked at the door. It was a recruiter from Sir Henry Barnet Academy. They explained what was happening to Viper. At first the girl was hesitant, but she agreed to go with them to the school, not far form her home.

She learnt much about her power there, and spent alot of her strenghtening her heat sensing skills and enhancing her ability to talk to snakes. The students and teachers learnt to be wary of her, and she enjoyed her school, finding a passion for photography.

When Viper was 16 she recieved news that her mother had died as a result of a sudden heart attack. She was devestated, and she didnt want to stay in Australia. She gained the help of some of the school staff to help her track down her father, who was living in Montana. He was shocked to discover he had a daughter, but after some consideration her decided she could live with him.

Viper moved over to LA, and spend a few days getting to know her dad before she traveled to her new school, Bellefonte Academy.
