Richard was in the hospital for a few days by this point having been healing up. Still drugged up for the pain though they adjusted it so he wasn't quite so high seeming all the time. He was eating up of course once he was able to be conscious for more than 10 minute stretches. He of course had been talking with his mother who spent far much more time than she should there by his side. He encouraged her to go and sleep more but she seemed rather fervent on staying by his side. She had texted all his friends to let them know what happened though Blair was not in his contacts.
Blair's injuries while not pleasant were able to be treated up at the school as they were not super severe but still they would leave her a little troubled getting around in ways. That being said she was offered a ride by a staff member if she chose to go visit Richard while he recovered.
Richard was getting itchy in his room as he liked the out doors so much more than inside but being bed ridden for days was causing stir craziness to kick in. The visits from some friends helped. His mother being here was also helping as they caught up what has been happening with his brothers, niece, dad and the farm. He was in the middle of lunch and talking to his mother. He was taking a bit of his sandwich and wishing he could get a steak.
He was made to stay in a laying position unless he was helped to a sitting and the bed adjusted. He couldn't let lay on it and let it adjust as it could cause disruption to his back injury. Though his face just had some gauze on it that covered the bite on his face though that was literally getting itchy. They told him he would be here for at least a month so day 2 of 30 and things were already not going well for him mentally.
