It was late afternoon, the sun's gentle rays slowly starting to fade leaving the sky an almost pleasant orange color. Only an hour or two until the sun was fully set and night would claim this woodland paradise. The sounds of the forest animals could be heard in the distance. This fact alone should have been enough to alert the poor little cat girl that was stretching in the dirt as she woke up. It didn't really come as any shock to her that she'd wake up in the woods. It's happened before and probably wasn't going to be the last time it happened either. It was much better than waking up in the Pet Rescue Center, which, believe me, is no walk in the park.
Despite being in her human form, Dahlia tucked her legs under her bottom and leaned as far forward as she could, arching her back as her long and sharp nails dug into the dirt. A sound almost resembling a 'mrow' formed in her throat as everything started to crack. Oh this felt nice. Her rear started to rise in the air and her 'claws' inched forward to try and stretch her back out a little better. Almost everything about the action was feline-esque, especially as her tail stood up straight and her big cat ears started to twitch.
Her tongue curled as she yawned before finally sitting up straight, tail curled up slightly behind her. She did quite remember falling asleep out here but that didn't mean she hadn't. At least the ground was soft and pleasant enough to sleep on. Dahlia scratched behind her ear before they picked up on something. The sound of a stick crunching beneath someone's footsteps caused her to pause in her actions and sniff the air. Her mouth opened slightly as she did so, a habit picked up from being a cat for far too long. Confusion and curiosity filling her, she glanced in the direction she had heard the sound, her body tensing as she slowly got to her feet. "Hello? Is someone there?"
