Weekend Update

Ethan felt as though he hadn't seen his Academy friends in a while, ever since he accepted the job at Helios. Sure, he kept in touch via text messages but to actually meet them face to face was a rarity these days. Which was why he was actually excited to meet up with Toby.

Since the older man got married to Charity, Ethan had been treated to practically non-stop talk about married life with the woman of his dreams. Ethan found it rather endearing that a grown man could be so besotted with another person like a high school kid with a crush.

The weather was starting to seep to his bones and his abilities were starting to act up but that did not stop the man from getting dressed in a dark blue and white striped button-up shirt, jeans and about two layers of lining before wrapping a parka over him. The very familiar walk down to his favourite bar saw him nodding to a few women who were caught staring by the now confident young man.

"Matt, God bless you for turning the heat up, man." He grinned at the bar owner who greeted him before disappearing to the backroom. Ethan went to the bar and ordered himself a drink before shedding his layers of thermal wear and hanging it on the back of his stool. He looked around to see if he missed his friend but it seemed like he wasn't there yet. The osteokinetic went over to the jukebox to play some music he liked and by the time he got back to the bar, his drink was waiting for him.

He took a sip and waited for Toby, humming along to the song he picked.
