Samai slightly moved her cell from her ear as she gesture over to one of the moving guys. "Oh! Do you mind being careful with that, that trunk case is almost as expensive as all of the purses in there combined. Real leather and if it gets dented or scratched, I may just end up losing my mind because it'll throw my room totally off.." She was sure he gave her a weird look once she turned around but she had way more to worry about.

She placed her phone near her ear as she continued her conversation, "Yes dad, they're almost done... no, I don't need you to have someone look over us, we're not kids anymore but you and mom are always welcomed to come visit. Yes, Kourtney is still here... We may end up going out tonight but for now we're just waiting until the moving is done. Yes I know. Okay. I love you too. Mwuah."

"Be careful with that please!" Her blue eyes went to one of the movers who held one of the body mirrors she ordered for her room not too long ago. Making her way back into the living room, she looked towards the door as two guys brought in the set of couches. Her smile brightened as she looked up towards the stairs that lead to the second floor... she was pretty sure her bestie was still in her room organizing things. "Kourt! Our couches are here! Come down, because I have no idea how it should be placed!"

She bit down on her bottom lip as she watched the open space. Usually Kourtney had been way better at deciding where things should be placed. "Umm... maybe if you guys set them all in the center? But with the two outer couches facing in? And just enough space so we can set our coffee table there in the middle?"

Kourtney looked around and smiled, they had finally managed to get enough money together to move into a bigger apartment. Well of course their parents paid for a lot of it, but trying to come up with half so her parents would put her half was tough. Especially since her favorite store was having a sale on shoes a while back. Still she looked up from her phone to see Samai nagging for a mover to be careful with her purse box. It was the only thing that Kourtney found hilarious, a Purse box. Yeah she had a s whole section dedicated to shoes but that wasn't a problem. She just found it hilarious that Samai put a bunch of purses in a box that should've probably been bubble wrapped.She was under the assumption that Kourtney only bought the trunk as something to put her purses in, she said nothing just snickered from behind her coffee cup.

She shook her head in amusement as she followed the movers wanting to give Samai time to assure her father that she was okay. Kourtney was actually waiting for the call also, but she knew that her parents would be late calling her. Unlike Samai her parents didn't check up on her constantly, they sent her money and maybe a message about her budgeting or a few conditions. She knew that her father was in the middle of a new fashion line, but she was kind of jealous that Samai's parents called her so frequently, hell Samai's parents called her to make sure she was doing okay.

" No, NO that's not kithen stuff, that clearly says Kourt's bedroom. I don't care if there's a coffee machine in the box. Did you also not see the panties?" She said sending the movers up to her room and sighing to look at the kitchen, she also had a microwave and mini fridge and a flat iron she didn't see the movers move. She was not in the mood for tired moves who didn't wanna deal with stuck up rich kids, it wasn't her problem at all.


"Samai, If you're Missing Boxes, I think the guy is putting them in wrong places on purposes!" She called out moving pass the movers eating a sandwich she had made in the kitchen not even bothering to help them move shits. That's what they were being paid for, even if she was trying to be a more down to earth person. Fuck that she had spent her money.

Moving was hard work!

Sure, neither of them had to lift a finger but there was still work in deciding where everything went. They also had to watch the movers closely because it was clear that none of them cared enough to be super careful. They were dealing with quality stuff here, how could one not be careful? Either way, Samai had just been glad to be off the phone because now she could watch everything more closely because those cat eyes didn't miss a thing.

Samai smirked, letting out a little chuckle as she heard her bestie correct one of the movers. Lifting her brows as she watched them moving the boxes upstairs. "You'd think they've done this before..." Rolling her eyes as she moved back into the living room. It was hard not to act like a total brat when things weren't going their way one-hundred percent of the time-

"What?" Without hesitation Samai headed upstairs and into her room before quickly moving back downstairs. Kourt was totally right, and it made sense as to why they had more boxes in the living room and she was missing a few from her room. Those lazy douchebags. Samai didn't walk past one of the movers eating, actually she stopped in front of him; Clearly unhappy and he even towered over her and honestly, she didn't care.

The short mutant grabbed at his shirt as she yanked him down to her level. "Look here, we're paying you guys the big bucks, so we expect you to move every single box and piece of furniture where it belongs. My mother's a lawyer and I can count over five things your company can be sued for-" Her blue eyes shifted into a cat's shape as she bared her teeth, growling slightly. "So I suggest you get your men together and get this done, the right way or a lawsuit will be the least of your worries."

So there had been a few changes with Samai, just a few and sometimes when she was peeved... she kind of let her feline side take over but never enough to hurt anyone. Samai was way too kind to want to hurt anyone on purpose.

She let his shirt go, not caring in the least bit if he had be scared that she bothered to show off that they were, indeed mutants. They needed morale anyway. Her brows furrowed slightly as Samai quickly snatched his unfinished sandwich out of his hand. "You don't need this." The young woman tossed it in the trash before heading over to Kourtney. Her arms folded as she chuckled. "Yeah, might of went a bit overboard. I just really can't wait until all of this is done. Oh and my dad says hi and that he misses you and apparently our parents will be meeting for dinner tomorrow. Go figure."

Kourtney watch as Samai set the movers straight, she was always a bi better at confrontation than she was. Kourtney was more a subtle person, unless she was really upset but she was trying to be more understanding of people who were less fortunate and had to work harder than she ever did. It wasn't their fault they had to all with stuck up rich girls, only kinda was because who open a moving company but failed to move shit. After they actually started to move things into their proper place, journey began to unpack the kitchen. It was best to minimize the work they'd have to do later. Considering anything heavy could be put in place by the movers.

"Yeah, I can't wait either. I've been dreaming about this apartment. Especially since it means I don't have to live in an empty house back home. Aww, I miss him to and the funny thing I thought my parents were still in Malian for that fashion show. It's just like them to say nothing about being home.". She brush it off with a shrug but, she was actually pretty upset. She should've probably been us to it but for some reason it always rt to k now her parent's forgot about her sometimes.

"So what are we having for dinner?"

She hated when she had to put on the "boss" role. Samai tried her best to stay as cool, calm, and collected the moment her powers to a turn for the worst. She was more feral than before and it was easy to flip her switch but had the movers just done what they were asked...

Sighing, she eyed the progress of the movers now that she spoke up before her attention went back to her best friend.

"Tell me about it. I feel like since it's the two of us, we'd have way more life. You know, with our creativity and whatnot." When Milan was mentioned, Samai was all ears. "Oh my god, you did mention that. I'm so jealous, I hear Rihanna always shows up at that one. I'd kill to get a seat next to her." Only if her parents were into attending fashion shows. Shrugging, she stepped near her roommate as she gently nudged at her shoulder. "I'm sure they're expecting you to be like.. super busy with moving and being a grown up." She chuckled, "If anything, my parents will talk their ears off about you. So don't worry."

"Food! Right! How about we go all out tonight, like totally do our own Italian dinner? Or, I could always call a local chef and have them make it for us? We could even break in the hot tub after with a glass of wine?" The blonde nudged at her friend once more, "What do you say?"
