Still A Virgin?

Erin didn't think that she would ever find herself coming back to the campus, but ever since she ended up sort of living here after college, she often went back. It might have never fully felt like a place that she would call home, but there were a few people there that still made it feel like home. Not a lot, but she never really had that many friends to being with, so it was not that big of a deal. She had a job to do, but had already decided that she would handle it later since she had already planned to meet up to hand out with Quinn today.

She might have sped through her schooling, but her friend had decided to go to college for...well Erin still didn't believe what he was going to college for. Of course she knew since she made it her business to keep up with everything that Quinn still did. They were friends after all and she could not help but to still consider him like a younger brother even after all these years. Which is why she had several goal in mind that she wanted to achieve foe the two of them and for Quinn alone. Things to be figured out and talked about later, right now she had to wait for Quinn to answer the door after she just got finished knocking on it loudly. A few voices down the hall were female, and as a result Erin ended up using her power to vanish from site.

Yes, she was still very weird around girls, especially since the girl that ended up taking her innocence could possibly be here. Who knew, she knew she was avoiding them like the plague all the same because things had just...she didn't want to talk or think about it. It was likely then now when Quinn would open the door, he would see no one there but Erin would take it upon herself to sneak past him without touching him and go towards his room before she would stop using her power. "Surprise!Did I scare you?" Erin asked with a huge grin and was already chuckling a little. So slick, so smooth, and oh so skilled. she thought to herself.

Quinn didn’t think college was all that important. He used to say that while in high school. Well, maybe not because he didn’t have that many people to hear it but he thought that and he was pretty sure he said something of the like to Erin once. He wanted to be a photographer. You don’t need a degree for that, only experience and you get that by taking pictures, not by sitting in a classroom hearing about art all day. Though, to be fair, most of his days were not about Andy Warhol or Diane Arbus. This was his minor after all and he was not even sure they’d talk of these two. He didn’t know how the teacher intended to teach.

It was odd though, being back here. Most of the people he knew were roughly two more years ahead of him, making him older than anyone else in his class. He knew there was no real age to start college but it was odd. As if Quinn needed more things to cast him out! He was not even sure he liked the major he picked. He thought it might help him. Plus he wanted something he might get a job with, in case his dream really was not meant to work. Still, whenever they talked of technology and computers, he couldn’t help but to think of his friend Erin.

Yeah, his friend. It was still weird for him to say that. But they kept in touch and she was one of the few people who were genuinely bummed for him that it didn’t work out in New York. The only one, maybe. No, he knew some other might have too.

The new dorm was bringing back lots of memories. The deco was different in his room though. An entire wall was covered in all kinds of picture. Well, entire might be pushing it but there sure were a lot of them. And no ferret. That made the whole room very different to Quinn. But it was not his fault if Pips died between the time he graduated and came back. And with the little money he had, and virtually no financial aid from his family, having another pet while he could barely afford everything he needed for himself was ridiculous. He really needed to find a job.

He was distracted from all of this by a loud knock on the door. Repeated knocks on the door, to be precise. When he opened however, there was no one. What kind of stupid joke was that? Oh wait...

He jumped when he heard Erin behind him. Of course. He almost forgot it was her power. “What do you think?” he answered. Hard to pretend she didn’t scare him when he even yelped. He closed the door and turned his attention on her, crossing his arms over his chest as he studied her. “I didn’t know you were coming. Some things never change,” he let out. He was not pissed or anything, simply stating the fact that this girl loved to just come over without giving him much of a choice. He was lucky when he received a text that she was coming over in the next ten seconds.

It did suck that things did not work out for Quinn in New York and now he was back at the school that he seemed to never really like. Okay, maybe he did like the school and it was just his general Quinn like behavior to not seem pleased about anything. Taking photos was the only thing that seemed to please him and even then Erin did have to push to get him to talk and show passion for what he enjoyed. Not as much as she had to years ago; thankfully having been his friend for years did at least soften him to her a bit more, but at any rate they were close.

She considered him a little brother and as such she had always assured him that if he ever wanted help with anything or needed anything he could just ask her. Of course; like most of the people she socialized with, Quinn was reluctant to just accept what she had to offer and wanted to work for it. She supposed that was in part of why he wanted to go back to college, but she did have some ideas and offers for him; if he was willing to consider them. Erin could not help but to chuckle a little when Quinn jumped, she figured that by now he would just know better, but it was still good to know that she was still a badass ninja. Thanks to her power, but still a badass ninja all the same.

“I would say that; yes, I did in fact scare you.” Erin responded, still chuckle a little as she moved to sit down on the couch and make herself comfortable. It was still odd to be visiting him in the dorms like she used to so often, but now it be in the college dorms and her being done with high school and college already. Then again, she could have been done with all of those things years ago but just never applied herself. “Sorry, I didn’t know I was coming until a few minutes ago. Was handing a job that brought me around here so I figured why not stop in and check in on my little bro-friend.” Erin responded with a few nods as she patted the spot next to her on the couch so he would come sit down beside her.

She was already moving the laptop bag that she had on her person and digging through it to pull out a camera attachment. “I got you something. A high end lenses attachment for your camera. If you don’t want it, I do at least need you to test it out for me. Take a few pictures with it and show me the photos.” Erin pointed out as she held out the box. It was bran new, never been opened, and it was specifically for her work. She had another back at her home so figured that Quinn would enjoy having one and it would allow her to fully see the capabilities of this new zoom.

Quinn wouldn’t go as far as consider Erin his sister. That would imply admitting he wanted her to stay around in his life and that was just the best way to have them leave. But he had grown used to her and stopped finding it so bothersome to say they were friends because she needed to hear it. Of course, not having a lot of people to introduce her to, or being introduced to by her, meant that he rarely had to say she was his friend. Still, the girl managed to get through quite a few walls of his. She’d seen enough of him to have Quinn wish her she’d stick around. As long as she didn’t expect him to word it like that.

She was amused by how easily she scared him. “What’s with the lack of text? I thought you loved stressing me out, having me wonder when you’d just drop your invisibility cloak and jump on me,” he said. The tone was not moody so he was not angry at her for scaring him or finding it so amusing. Okay, maybe he was a tiny bit upset she laughed at him like that but he had worse in his life. He could take that. He was just pointing out he had no idea she was around.

She at least graced him with an explanation as to what she was doing here. It made sense then that she did not text him, he supposed, since she did not come here to see him in the first place. It was just a little detour on the road. She patted a spot on the couch and Quinn walked to it and sat down next to her. She brought her bag on her lap and he was wondering what she would pull out of it this time. He did not expect it to be lenses attachment. Of course, she’d know what camera he was using, she bought it for him. How else could he afford something this sophisticated? He held it with the outmost care. He knew Erin was the type to just hand over gifts as if she didn’t seem to get you had to earn them first. Only this time, she seemed to imply there was something he could do with it. “Are you asking me to take pictures of cheating husbands n motel rooms?” Hey, wasn’t she a private investigator? He always figured it was the kind of things these did. Unless you were in a movie. Then they hunted down criminals too and did a better job than the police at that.

"I do but not all of the time. That and this was not really planned, just kind of hit me and I recalled what I had in my pack." Erin responded to his question. She really did not plan this, it just sort of happened when she was hit with the idea. That and it also had made her think about having Quinn help her out with her work. She would not say that he had too or anything like that, but she was going to offer it to him. That was if he did not get her hints by her gift that she would soon be giving him and the task she had for him.

Quinn had always complained about not liking just getting a gift so she had started to think up ways for him to have to 'work' for things. She just hoped that he still had the camera he gave her and was taking good care of it. It was advantaged enough that he was not going to need a replacement any time soon since most of the parts could just be changed to upgrade the device. That was why Erin loved technology that was up to date or at least allowed you to modify it so that it would be. "I mean...you could if you wanted to. I have a job where a person what’s some photographic proof." Erin responded, her voice becoming dejected at the end for a moment.

It was clear that she hated having to take photos for proof since they were so easy to just create whatever you wanted. Still, there were people who just liked that form of proof and not all of the other evidence she had for them. The customer might have been always right for customer services standards but they were idiots in terms of normal standards. "Except, in this case it’s a husband cheating on his wife with another guy and the wife wants photos of the husband in...the act with the man. So you can imagine why I don't want to do it, but if you don't mind doing it. I can take you there, you take the photos, and I'll pay you for your help." Erin pointed out. That was fair, right?

It was kind of weird that she said she just happened to be here when she had something for him. Unless she spent her time dragging around gifts for her friends just in case she bumped into them. He knew Erin was weird but he didn’t think like that. He didn't want to bother and think of why she brought with her the lenses if she had not thought about seeing him to begin with. This would require too much time and brain cell over something that did not matter in the end. She was here and she had the attachment. The rest was insignificant.

Quinn was not really used to gifts, let alone free ones. It was not as much as letting her pay for everything. Although he might just let her pay this time if they were to go to the movies, only because she had a job and he did not. Being reminded she had the money though would still piss him off a little. But it was a fact he had to accept. Even if he still considered it a little humiliating. Funny how he could be such a macho over this when he really was not in any other aspect of his life. At least, he didn’t think he was.

So she was offering him a job where he’d have to spend the whole night watching some motel door! Why people needed to torture themselves like this? If they suspected their spouse to be cheating, Quinn doubted the lack of proof would calm them. It would just make them think they escaped it this time. As for being the one holding the camera... he never expected his career to take this turn. “Don’t you hate having to do that?” He bet she did. She implied not being comfortable and he didn’t think it was only because the husband was going to shady motel rooms to be himself. Why did the wife need that kind of evidence if not to use it against him? This was so low. The fact Quinn might have taken that kind of pictures, but never quite that far, totally eluded him. It was in another life, it seemed. And he never really blackmailed anyone. It was for his own pleasure, to know he had ways to torment his tormentors if he wanted. “Why people need to see that anyway?” Quinn thought that, if she wanted proof of an affair, proof from his cellphones or credit card that he received some texts or paid for a room should be enough for a confrontation. But people didn’t want to confront. They wanted to accuse with all the evidence on their side to get the most out of it. This was sick.

It was not like Quinn would be all alone on the job; Erin was still going to go with him. After all, with her power it allowed her to get places that most people could not and get nice, close, and personal. That was why she charged a bit extra when people wanted her to get up close photos or information that she had to actually go somewhere to obtain. Still, she did enjoy her job; even if she had to deal with the job types like this. She would still be doing the same at her dad's company; this was just a branch off of it. Well, with her dad she would have been more so assigned to handling security affair based things but she liked being able to mix it up a little.

"Yes and no." Erin responded to Quinn's question. She figured she should elaborate so after she pulled out her laptop and turned it on; she looked back to her friend. "I enjoy it in the aspect of being all ninja like and getting into a place unseen and undetected. It pleases my hacker side. I don't like it when people want photos when I have already presented them with enough information to prove literally everything." Erin responded. She understood how the world worked however, so was going to do it with or without Quinn's help. She just preferred to have his help because he was better at taking photos then she was and also so she would not have to look at two guys having sex.

Erin shrugged at Quinn's next question. "People are people. Humans as a whole are very much the type that likes to see something in order to believe it. A list of receipts, pictures of them hanging out with a person, and emails are not always enough for some people. Some want a photo of what it is so they can believe it without a shadow of a doubt. Sucks, but if I don't do it they will pay someone else that will an I don't like losing out on a profit after I 've done all this work." Erin informed her friend. She then pulled up the guy's file, displaying information on whom he was, what he did, the kind of money he made, who he was married to, and who he was cheating on his wife with. "You in or not?" Erin asked, looking to Quin then.

It was kind of weird to picture Erin going places. Goodbye Veronica Mars, Erin Hackett was here. Except he didn't see how Erin could go to people and play them like the little blonde did in the show. She was more like Mac, her geek friend who did all the computer stuff. Yeah, that he could see Erin do. And beat everyone. On that, she might actually but more like another blonde, the one in that cop show. She even loved graphic novels and was super goofy. Erin was that girl. Not some super awesome female version of Sherlock Holmes. Except Sherlock Holmes never would have taken pictures of an adulterous husband.

“There’s really just you to compare investigator and ninjas,” he pointed out with a little sarcastic smirk on. It was true though, that she could be all stealthy. It had to mean she got better with people, or got better at avoiding people so they wouldn’t discover she was there. “I would have thought your hacker side would prefer being behind a computer screen and watch people from afar. That ninja side of yours is recent?” When you’re miles apart, it was hard to know just how much someone might have changed in your absence. Somehow, he wished he changed too, but he doubted it.

“You mean they don’t want to ask the person, in case they might still find a lie and they could believe it. They prefer to confront with all the evidences,” he summed up. He was a bit bitter about this. In some way, it just reminded him of what happened in his life. People couldn’t just go, they had to hurt people around them. She pulled up a file and his gaze could not help but to wander on it. “I don’t know what’s sadder, that this guy keeps this side of his hidden or that his wife wants to make him pay for it.”

And she reiterated her question. Did he want in? He took a deep breath. If that was known, would it endanger his chances to make a career as a fashion photographer? “Do people have to know” She was working on her own, right? So it was not like she had to tell anyone. Right?

“When you do it like I do it, of course it’s like being a ninja.” Erin responded with a confident grin on her face. It really was something that only Erin Hackett would compare together, so Quinn had a point. Still, it was clear that he didn’t really mean it in a mean way or anything like that and was simply stating a fact. Even without her power Erin was pretty slick but it was because of her power that she was almost better than a ninja. The almost being because she didn’t really know how to fight so was lacking in that ninja area.

Erin moved a little on the couch, making herself a little more comfortable as she crossed her legs crisscross style. Her head tilted a little to the side at the comment and sort of question that left Quinn’s lips next. He did have appoint that she did honestly prefer to be behind her computer but she had to admit that she did enjoy the whole going out there aspect of her job. “I guess you could say it is recent. It would be so zeta lame if I was still the same person who like to only remain in her room after three years.” Erin pointed out with a slight chuckle.

Okay, so she still liked to spend most of her time out of room but she had gotten a lot better at being out and interacting with people. She still could be better, but it was progress for someone who three years ago barely knew how to make friends. That was still a challenge now, but she was working on it. “Pretty much. Not that I care. I do what I’m paid to do.” Erin responded with several nods. She had a very moral gray area and wow she thought people were foolish for how they wanted things done, if she was being paid to do it, she was likely going to do it.

Quinn still didn’t seem to agree and even voice how it was just sad on both parties that were involved in this whole event. Erin agreed, and nodded her head as much. Still, she was being paid and she was going to give Quinn some of that pay if he would help her. There was clearly some hesitation there, but it seemed like he would do it once he had certain assurances. “No one will know. Not like I put down who takes the photos and when we go to take the photos no one will be able to see or hear us.” Erin assured him. In short, she was going to use her powers and Quinn really had nothing to worry about.

Quinn’s mind ventured pretty far from the conversation. First by imagining Erin as television characters and now dressed up as a ninja. If one owned a ninja suit around here, he’d say she did. She was perhaps the only one he wouldn’t be surprised if she did at least. “Provided you don’t bump into anyone.” he pointed out. But who cared. If she wanted to be a ninja, he’d let her be a ninja. “I’m surprised your father is letting you do this. I thought he wanted you to work for him.” Although, what he really meant to say was that he thought she wanted to work for him. But it seemed like she chose another line of work. Oh well. He supposed that as long as a computer is involved she was happy.

Was it really lame to remain the same? “I don’t think I’ve changed much,” he pointed out. Of course, it was hard to see the changes when you lived through it. Did he change? Was he more sociable? He didn’t know. It was hard to tell when he was not the kind to go to people and people rarely went to him. “At least you graduated. I’m back to school. It was either that or some lame job my uncle would find for me.” He supposed in that case he was lucky to be here. Again, something he was not sure about. He shrugged as he thought of this. He was here now. It might not be the place he had wished to be but it was still better than being miserable with a shitty job.

Quinn never could tell exactly where Erin stood morally. Sometimes, she acted as though the misery of others was none of her business and then she was ready to make you miserable because she owed you a life debt and you claimed it was good. Yet, at the same time, Quinn also found himself not caring too much for that man. He was not related to him or anything. This town had gay bars, it was not like it was a terrible secret you had to keep to yourself. She assured him she would not tell who took the pictures. “Cause I could use the money but I don’t think it would look well in my CV if I ever admit I took pictures of adulterers,” he explained. It would be like admitting he was a paparazzo. And that too he didn’t see as being a good thing if he wanted to enter the fashion world. They wanted their little secrets to stay secrets after all, not risk them all out because the photographer was apparently loose on what can be said and what should remain between the people involved. But, as he told Erin, he could use the money.

Erin did indeed own a ninja suit and it was safely tucked away in her college back in her apartment just waiting for her to wear it again. She actually had several ninja costumes from the more ‘olden’ style ones to the more current ones like that from the anime called Naruto. “Right…which I’m pretty good at not doing thankfully.” Erin responded. Of course Quinn would know her weakness of her power after how long they knew one another. It really did suck that her power got canceled out when she was touched but it made sense given that she was messing with someone’s sense so if they touched her it kind of disrupted the illusion.

“I do work for him, but I also work for myself. I managed to convince him to allow me to open up my own branch of sorts.” Erin explained. Therefore on files she was shown as a branch company of the company her father worked for. The big difference was that she was the only one in her branch and she did work outside of just helping with security on a technical level. In all honestly the only reason why she had decided to do the whole branch company idea was she could remain around BA…for some odd reason. Quinn pointed out that he didn’t think that he changed much, which had Erin silent for a moment. In truth, Quinn overall didn’t really seem to change much when it came to other people but she did feel like he did change in a few ways.

“You changed a little bit. At least with me.” Erin pointed out. It might have been years ago but there was a time when Quinn likely didn’t count her as a friend. At least, Erin assumed that he did by this point but now that she was thinking about it she was starting to wonder. No…we have to be friends. He kept contact over the years, we sort of hang out, and…yeah…we are so friends. Erin told herself, even giving a few mental nods. “Well now you can work for me…if you want.” Erin went ahead and said it. She saw no problem with Quinn working for her…or with her and she was offering him to help her with a job now. If he really wanted to keep doing jobs with or for her then she saw no problem with him actually working for her.

Quinn didn’t even need to stay in college for it, but Erin left that part figuring that college would do Quinn some good for at least a year or so. He wanted the money but just didn’t want people to know basically what he had to do to get the money in this particular situation, which was fine by Erin. “No one will ever know and if they somehow ever did find out, well let’s just say that people will think they are crazy by the time I’m done.” Erin pointed out with a smirk taking over her face. She extended her hand then, wanting Quinn to shake on it before she would get down to business.

“Still doesn’t like being around people much?” he let out, his gaze moving to look at her while the rest of his face remained still. He could hardly blame her as he was not exactly very social either. He would have loved being invisible at times. In a way, he already was. Quinn knew how to walk in a room without attracting any kind of attention. It is rather easy when you’re not interesting enough for people to look at you.

Quinn didn’t know all the details of what her father was doing but he knew it had to do with computers or at least with Erin’s skills. Because of that, it sort of made sense she’d work for him. He even thought the only reason why she was in Kalispell and might have to go to college was because he wanted her to before she’d start working for him. She should be in college then, right? He didn’t know. He could hardly think about what year he should have been in had he not left after graduation, he was not going to try and tell whether she should have been in college or not, if she went to college at all. She was so computer savvy anyway that she probably could have taught the teacher. “He doesn’t mind?” What she did was a little more than security, maybe he wouldn’t like it. But he didn’t know how she would act had her father come to town to tell her to stop so maybe she didn’t care what he thought of her little side business.

She argued that he changed, at least around her. He paused to think about it. Did he? It was not always easy to tell when one changed, especially when the changes were subtle. “Maybe. I’ve never known someone for this long. Except my cousins but they don’t count, they’re my cousins.” His cousins tortured him without letting him do much of it in return. The joys of being the weakest one in a house filled with boys. At least with Erin the torture was equally shared when they felt like tormenting each other.

Work could be nice. Well, maybe not nice but at least it would bring him some money. His aunt wouldn’t keep giving him a little something forever and there will be a time when he’ll have to leave Bellefonte and be an adult. Having some work experience would be good then, even if he didn’t think like admitting taking pictures of adulterous spouses or people doing insurance fraud was something he should do. But he wouldn’t need to admit it, right? They could work something out, make it look like he sorted her papers or brought her coffee or something. Who knows, he might even be able to convince them he tailed people. Or was it too stalk-y?

She assured him they didn't have to know exactly what he did for her. And she then assured they would pay if they ever held it against him. With her semi-devilish smirk on. “I am so glad I am not the one against you right now.” He was pretty sure he had seen but a fraction of what she could do with a computer. He would really prefer not to know how far she could get. Seeing her extend her hand, he understood what she wanted even if he found it a little too formal in the circumstance. Still, he shook it. If that was how she wanted to make the deal he was fine with it.

“Nope. Like I won’t freak out as fast as I used to but if I can avoid being in a crowd I will.” Erin admitted as she messed with the zipper to her jacket a little. Yes, she still had that fear of others and while it was not as bad as it used to be she doubted it would ever fully go away. Thankfully with having a lot more control over her power she often used it in situations that would cause her to start to panic. Either way, she could use her power in a pinch on herself and anyone else without even touching them now. She still had to avoid herself and the person she was concealing from being touched but that was not all that hard to do as long as she was not in a huge crowd.

As for her father and working for him, well things worked out in the way both she and her father were pleased with. In all honestly her father would have never forced her to work for him, with him, or even in the same line of work as him. He did leave it all up to Erin it just so happened that because their interest lined up it made sense for her to work with him. While she did have reservation about it because she didn’t want people to know she or her father was mutants. Now that mutants were known about, she had less worry but that didn’t mean she still wanted to be of a hindrance to her father in any way shape or form.

“Nope, not at all. He just wants me to be happy and safe.” Erin responded to Quinn’s question. That was how it always was and for that she loved her father and would do anything for him. If he really did want her to come work directly for him, then she would without a second of hesitation. As for her thoughts on Quinn changing, she did think that he changed or at the very least he changed when it came to her. Sure he could still be distance at times and so in denial but he was most certainly best friends with her at this point. "Well see, then you have changed for me at the very least. I'm not your cousin and we have been friends for a while. You are certainly not the same Quinn I met three years ago up on that roof." Erin pointed out.

Even back then she always knew there was a bit more of a kinder side to Quinn; he was just guarded because of trust or whatever his reasons were. The fact still remained that he saved her life that day and while her debt was paid she still stuck around because she counted him as a friend. As for the work Quinn would do for her, it would mostly be in terms of taking photos since that was what he was good at but she could give him other things to do. Plus if he was ready to go get a job elsewhere she could create him the best resume with referrals from a number of places and be able to back him up.

Hell, if he wanted to get into an expensive photography school she could make it happen if he would only just ask. "Good, because anyone who is against me is going to have a very hard life." Erin pointed out and Quinn had only even gotten a taste of it from time to time. She never really went full out with her friend because he never got her that upset. Hands were shaken, the deal was made, and Erin was already jumping up. "Alright, with that settled. Let’s go. Put something warm on, grab your camera and let’s go. I'm driving." Erin said as she pulled out her keys and twirled them around her finger with a small smirk.

Quinn could hardly blame his friend for not liking people. He was in the same situation. The only difference being that he could not go invisible. There were people like that, who hated crowds, who weren’t comfortable around people. They were both like that. Perhaps not in the same way, but they were. It was an annoying trait though. Even more when people around tried to push you to be around others. They didn’t understand. At least they didn’t have to fear the other to get them out. Quinn was very content meeting Erin without anyone around.

“You’re lucky,” he let out as she said her father did not mind the kind of job she chose in the end. “My uncle tried to convince me to work with him when I went back from New York. I’m not sure he’s totally pleased I chose to go to college instead. He’s hoping I’d pick something more... I don’t know. Remunerative, I guess?” The hard work and effort Quinn put into this seemed odd to his family alright. It was true that Quinn was not known to be the most dedicated person. Anything else, he would have dropped out. But he wanted this to work. So badly. He was so happy to finally have something he liked, he didn’t want to give it up that easily.

Quinn got her point of view. He changed in three years, at least towards her. “I’m still going to call you stupid if you play the same trick you did on that roof three years ago. And I guess I’d still save you if you did.” He never would have thought he had it in him to save anyone. Of course, he didn’t think that back then. He just didn’t want to see someone die. He doubted he could have taken it. His body acted before his mind could start analyzing the situation, went straight to her and brought her back on the roof. The fact he could have fallen with her did not even cross his mind back then.

Quinn’s shoulders lifted in a silent chuckle. He had no problem believing the kind of hell Erin could give someone who got on her nerve. He knew something about it and she had been nice to him. He might have upset her in the past but nothing to the point of her really doing more than something similar to a slap on the face. “Oh, it was for now?” he said, surprised of this. What she would have done had he said no? What was he thinking, she probably did not even consider that option, or figured she would nag him until he agreed. “You know I don’t need to put anything warm. My body temperature has even grown higher lately,” he pointed out. “Let me get my camera first,” he added before heading to his room for it. Sure, she gave him some fancy lens but he needed something to attach it to if he wanted to use it.

Erin and Quinn were indeed the same in the aspect of not really liking being around a lot of people or people in general. Perhaps that was just another reason why Erin liked being around Quinn and they had managed to be friends for such a long time. They both could handle not being around one another every second of the day but did have their times where they could hang out together. Erin liked that about their friendship and never wanted to lose Quinn. No matter how much he would fuss, ask questions, or give her that look she would not want to lose Quinn as a friend no matter what.

She had discovered this desire to have Quinn as her friend forever years ago and back then that was why she had to try kissing him. Just to make sure her feelings were not getting weird on her or anything and thankfully she was still plenty lesbian and understood that she really just wanted Quinn to be her best friend forever. BFFs. “…I’m sure he will come to understand. It’s about your happiness and doing what you want with your life. My dad gets that and I’m certain your uncle will get it at some point.” Erin pointed out. She didn’t know what else to say past that. She never fully understood Quinn’s relationship with his Uncle, Aunt, and Cousins.

Quinn never really seemed too happy with them…or being around them but he still interacted with them. Erin didn’t understand that bit but assumed it had to be something like they were his only family left due to the current state of his parents. A huge smile took over Erin’s face at Quinn’s next words about calling her stupid and how he would save her again if it came down to it. Erin was not really a touchy feely person due to her shyness but she could not help but to quickly reach out to give Quinn and quick hug. “Thanks…I would save you too, but I’m not super strong so try and avoid life or death situations in where I’ll have to pull or pick you up.” Erin pointed out with a slight awkward chuckle.

Then it was onto getting out of there. Part of the reason because she wanted to get away from the mussy feelings and what not but mostly so she could show him where they would be doing the job and what not. “Right. I keep forgetting your power makes you like a walking heater.” Erin muttered out with a slight chuckle. “Either way, I just wanted to show you the location of where this job will be taking place and then after we can just hang out at my place or something…” Erin added. Or she could drop him back off here, she didn’t mind either way.
