Marissa sat on one of many couches in the student lounge, her legs crossed. It was specifically chosen for its position and gave herself and her friend, Gregory, the chance to see every angle of the room. The couch sat in one of the corners of the room, away from the hustle of the pool tables and away from the always crowded TV.
Her eyes flicked across the room, a mischievous smirk on Marissa's face. Not that they weren't up to trouble. Just people watching.
The student lounge was busy, as it was the weekend. Many students came down to interact and play games or watch a movie or just sit around and talk with friends. Her and Greg had recently taken up the hobby of people watching. Watching other students, teachers... anyone really. People were fascinating.
"Look." Marissa spoke, smirking still. "See the guy in the red polo shirt over by the pool table? He totally thinks he's too cool for everyone." The slightly popped collar paired with his disinterested facial expression lead the observant girl to believe her conclusion.

Gregory stiffened his posture, trying his best to come off both relaxed and as stressfully posed as his classmate seemed to be. He pursed lips, going for somewhat of a blue steel look. He was playful in his presentation, as there wasn’t a malice filled bone in his body. He enjoyed it, he enjoyed observing, he enjoyed acting – albeit privately. He wasn’t keen on having a large crowd for his performances, but he was definitely okay with the crowd of one. As one of the many students that had very little to do on the weekends, he had found a love in watching people with Marissa. It wasn’t often that he clicked with a person so perfectly.
His long, lanky legs were pulled up, crossed, as he sat on the couch Indian style. His book bag to his side, along with a rather large stack of books and a laptop. He should have been studying, but it had become pretty clear that that was not going to happen. Not today.
“I think his biggest debate this morning was whether or not one collar was enough. I think he genuinely thought about doing two or three.”[/ul][/ul][/div]

Marissa giggled, shaking her head with laughter. "I'm not even going to bother reading him 'cause I know we're right." She said, imagining the stranger with multiple popped colours. She laughed at Greg's imitation of the student, gently nudging him with her shoulder. "That was good, though. 10/10 on the impression." Marissa clapped for her friend, reaching for the bag of munchies that sat between the two. Today, popcorn and pretzels. Was there a better, saltier, combination out there?
Her eyes scanned across the room for the next potential victim, munching on a handful of pretzels. With her clean hand, Marissa ran a hand through the messy waves of her hair, pushing aside her bangs. There were so many students... who was next?
"The guy beside him is either in awe of his style or wants to puke." Marissa said with a snort. "He's just... staring at Mr. Cool Guy."
