Add was being followed. She had been for some time now, ever since she'd turned the last block or so. She was fairly certain that whomever was doing the following was dogging her pretty close, as she could nearly hear their footfalls. She glanced into a passing window and thought she caught a glimpse of someone who looked rather on the shadier side of things. Most disturbing. Her ability kindly informed her that there were only a few reasons that someone would actually be following someone, especially someone they hadn't met. It could be that he was following her because he thought she looked like someone. She could have dropped something and he could be wanting to return to it her. Or he could be looking to molest, mug, and/or rape her.
Add concluded that it was likely this last. The first two would normally entail some sort of noise. The normal individual called out to people when he thought he saw someone he knew. And if he was attempting to return something, then surely he would have been more direct at getting Add's attention. So she concluded that he must be wanting to inflict some variation of crime upon her.
Well, she figured they might as well get that over with.
Add stopped, turned, and faced directly at the person who'd been following. She looked him directly into the eye, watching his movements and trusting her ability to give him any heads up as to what was about to happen or what he might do. Then she called out to him, quite clearly: "If you are going to be attacking me, could you please get it over with? You have been following me for some time and it is distracting me from my walk. I would much rather settle our business now, please."
