So Frank might have imbibed a bit too much sugar (after downing some other food and doing other things), thus meaning she was essentially bouncing around the cook out and enjoying herself. Time was flexible and nobody had proven conclusively that there weren't actually three Franks or that she couldn't eat enough sugar to essentially be everywhere she wanted at the same time.
Oh, right, the Pokeball thing.
"C'mon! Get in the ballll!" Frank hissed. She was actually a few feet from Erin, and she was already pulling another Pokeball out from her belt. They were of course decent replicas that had been made in Japan and could actually open and everything. Frank had run back to her room after she'd caught sight of, well, actually after she'd caught sight of Zoe Wallerstein-Smythe. And then she'd gotten back and bam! A wild Erin had appeared.
"I guess I'm going to have to use another or--- wait!" Frank's eyes went wide. "I should probably try and weaken her first, make her easier to capture! But I don't have another one..." Frank pursed her lips for a moment, tapping her face with the Pokeball. "This is harder than I thought it would be..."

Erin Hackett didn't want to be here, not at all. Outside, sun, people, cookout; she wanted none of it. Okay, so in Japan she had done a sort of cookout with her dad in the past, but again that was just with her dad and no one else. This sort of thing was not really her thing and part of her could not help be grumpy that it was kind of mandatory. Hell, it probably was not even mandatory and she had just been told that by someone because they wanted her to have to go outside or something. She should have looked up on the event and find out for herself, but she figured an hour or less was not going to kill her.
She had already told herself that she would stay out here for only a little bit and then she was going to go back to her room. If only she used her power, she would not have been ended up feel something hit her side. What the hell? Erin thought to herself as she jumped a little before her gaze went to the object that had hit her. A pokeball? What? She of course recognized it and it made her hold on tighter to her Eevee plushie that she had been holding onto closer to her chest. It was the item she had picked to be her comfort item and now it seemed like someone was trying to capture it.
Even if such a thing was not possible with the current technology and the pokemon being not real, she still did not want someone taking her Eevee; she would just buy them one if they really wanted one. She had no clue that this girl was trying to catch her. Wait, girl? Dang it all and all the ones and zeros invovled in this. "My...my eevee is actually a guy and if you really want him...I'll just buy you one. You can't have...t-this one. Sorry." Erin spoke up as she was moving closer to the tree she had been hanging around.

"You've got one of---aww, that's adorable!" Frank said, having leaned over to get a look at what Erin was talking about. She did a little dance of joy and looked about ready to pounce on Erin for a hug. Except that wouldn't go with the whole Pokemon trainer thing that Frank was going for right now. Plus, there was the whole Eevee is a guy thing.
"No, no, gotta focus," Frank said. She brought her arms up to her chest, took a deep breath, and released it, pushing out as she went. "Right, so I want to catch the super adorable lesbian to complete mah collection, but this one's obviously about ready to run. So... bait!" Frank said, snapping her fingers. "Now, what do adorable lesbians eat... obviously not hot dogs..."
Frank swayed back and forth for a moment, rocking on her heels. "Heeeeeey, Erin," she said, leaning over, "Like, what do you eat... besides fish, obviously. Like, do you only eat certain stuff. I could try and see if I've got some berries or maybe hunks of meet or something? That always works in the games..."

Erin calmed down a little when the other girl seemed to be happy and like that Erin was hugging one of her plushie Pokémon pretty close to her chest. So the other girl liked Pokémon, that was good to know. Wait...that was Franck. Frank Cox. Erin was aware of her because of course she knew people that had big money in the school. Like, she didn't know Frank that way but she knew about her. Why was Frank Cox talking to her and wanting to take one of her Pokémon from her. Wait no, that was not the case. Frank didn't want to take her Pokémon, she apparently wanted to capture...her?
Frank was talking about how she had to focus and how she had to capture 'the super adorable lesbian' to complete her collection. A collection? Did this girl have an actual collection of people? Erin was tempted to believe that Frank could in fact own people in a way, having them hidden away for her to play with when she pleased. Okay, so that broke several laws and that was likely not a real thing but her imagination viewed things in such an extreme way at times. Bait? Oh so she was going old Safari type capturing a Pokémon instead of fighting to weaken her and then trying to catch her.
She could not help but to chuckle a little bit at hearing that a hot dog would not work on trying to catch her. She totally understood and got what that hinted at, even if in reality she didn't have a problem with actual hot dogs. It would not be very good bait for her regardless but still. Then she was asking her, calling her by her name. Frank knew her name? Erin could not help but to blush a little as she thought what could work for bait for her. "I uh...chips work...I really like Pocky." Erin spoke up. Wait, why was she helping this girl trying to capture? Why did Frank want to capture her?

Frank actually knew nearly everyone's names. It was just more of a crap shoot as to whether or not she'd actually use the correct name or remember to attach it to the right person or something along those lines. More on that later: focus on the catching of the adorable lesbian right now.
"Chips? I guess I could totally go and get some from the--oooho! Pocky!" Frank started digging around in her pockets. "I so have some, at least, I think I do..." Frank stuck her tongue out and danced around a bit, shaking a leg. She kept patting herself down but, well, she'd actually grabbed some when she'd snagged her Pokemon stuff, to get fully into the mood and all. So now she just needed to actually...
"Ah, here!" she said, producing it with a flourish. She slid a stick out and aimed carefully. "Gotta make sure to hit her..." she said. the tongue came out again and then, with a flick, Frank sent the stick of Pocky heading straight for Erin's face.

Erin still didn't understand what Frank was trying to do; well she got the girl was trying to catch her, but why? Why did she want to catch Erin of all people where there were others that she could try capturing? Why did she even want to capture anyone? She did know that pokeballs didn't actually work right? All these questions and so much more went through Erin's mind as she held her Eeevee close to her body and looked like she was about ready to run. Frank was then talking about how she could go get chips until she was really excited about Pocky.
The other girl was digging around on her person trying to find them, Erin felt like that was the perfect time for her to sneak off. All she needed to do was use her power and then she could escape without having to worry about anything. Kind of like coming across an Abra that would teleport soon after, but instead of teleporting she would vanish and just run away. Before she get the chance to even act on her plan, Frank found what she was looking for and working on...was she aiming it at her? Why was she going to throw it at her?!
Erin was quick to hold up a hand to block off the incoming chocolate covered biscuit stick that ended up hitting her hand instead of her head. "What was that for? Don't throw it at me....just hand...it...to...me..." Erin said, quickly losing confidence as she tried to sort of stand up to the other girl. A girl who was again a girl and also an attractive one at that so it was hard to just stay all bold and not be effected at all. She really needed to just use her power and run now.

"Don't you know how this thing works? If you want to catch her, you have to balance between being aggressive and all. Plus, like, what if you're super dangerous, hmm? Then I don't want to get too close to you," Frank wiggled her fingers in Erin's direction before nodding a few times. It all made perfect sense to her. She did take a few steps closer, leaning over.
"Is it working? 'cuz I'm trying to lure you into a state of, well, not, like, submission, but sort of the step before that? See," Frank began gesturing with her hands, "I'm so noticing that being friends with cute, shy lesbians is now, like, a thing. There's you and there's Alex and there's Zoe and, well, Alex is actually pan, because it seems like nearly every girl around here is pan or something. Except for you, and Zoe, but that's the point," Frank gestured before pulling out what looked like a PokeDex. "I wanna have all sorts of friends and all, and I already got the gay best friend, so now I need the shy lesbian friend and I'm picking you because Zoe would just be awkward for reasons having to probably to do with threads or something else nonsensical like that."
Frank just sort of waved off all those fourth-wall technicalities.

"In a video game! Yes!" Erin said, unable to speak up a bit in response to Frank's question. Had she been given a heads up that they were going to be role playing then she would have dressed for it and perhaps been behaved a bit more like this was indeed a wild Pokémon appearing and what not. Even if she was the Pokémon instead of her plushie, but she could pull it off. She had actually went to Con's before back home in Japan. Shocker, right? It all came down to wearing a full body costume that allowed no one to see who you really were and taking on the personality of said person.
Erin could do that and it was how she was able to survive her con experiences with at least not too many panic attacks. Erin just blinked as Frank went on about how she could be super dangerous but then did end up stepping closer and leaning over. That didn't really help Erin keep her eyes on Frank's eyes the whole time. Woman and their nice bodies and all. Was what working? Oh right, Frank was still trying to capture for some reason, focus. Frank then explained why she was doing this, but most of it started off what she was trying to do before it came to the conclusion of Frank wanting every type of friend. Erin supposed that made some sense...in a way.
"Wait, Alex who?" Erin asked as soon as she heard the name. Last she checked Alex was not gay and said girl was dating a guy. Damn that guy, Erin had not given up just yet! Even if she didn't really know why she was trying to go up against a longtime friend when she knew she was likely going to lose in the end. Erin just sat in silence for a moment at the whole...what did she just say about threads? Okay, so she had heard that Frank was hyper active and maybe came off as a little on the crazy side but she didn't actually think that Frank was crazy. Perhaps attention seeking that just came off to the point of attention seeking.
"I...I don't mind being your friend, and you don't have to capture me for it." Erin pointed out as she ended up sitting down on the grass where she had been standing. She sat down mainly for the fact so it would take her a bit longer to get up and run and cause her to be less on the verge of running. At least for now.

The question actually caught Frank off guard for a few seconds there. She stared at Erin, blinking, her brain attempting to process the information through the sugar-induced haze. Something... about... Alex? "Alex L---" Frank paused for a moment, pursing her lips, knowing full well that Fate screwed up Alex's and Selina's names all too often. Much safer to go with: "Alex the really short pixie like girl?" Frank said, sticking a hand out at about a foot shorter than Frank was (which was even shorter than Alex... if not by much). "She's, like, a redhead and kinda geeky though she doesn't get Game of Thrones references like, at all, but she's pretty cute and we talked this one time while on this boat thing and I think it came out then? I also, like, read DL whenever they put out something so it could be that I'm getting something crossed from that and why are you sitting down?"
Because Erin was sitting now, and Frank had this feeling that she'd missed something. She took several steps closer, head tilting as she looked at Erin. There had been something there, right? "Okay brain, rewind a bit," Frank said, taking a step back and considering. There had been something... something about friends? "Oh no, are you fainted?"
Frank then started rummaging around her pockets, eventually coming out with a can of lemonade. She hurried forward, waving it. "Here! I gots a lemonade! I did have a potion buuuut I think I mighta drank it or something?" Frank shrugged. "But here, don't faint! I can't make you my friend and put you in a ball and abuse you for animal fighting if you faint! Because that makes total sense!"

The other girl didn't even have to say Alex's last name for Erin to know the girl's last name and know who Frank was talking about. Not that she would know that Frank was getting people confused and now Erin just felt more hope and confusion as well. "Alexandra Lawson." Erin said, already just blushing just a little bit at saying the name. She really did have a bad crush on the girl and wanted to try and win her affection but knew it would be a losing battle. Still, it was a battle that she wanted to try and now with this information that Frank was giving her it made her feel like she had more of a chance now.
It at least confirmed that Alex was not super straight and thus there was a chance that Erin would be able to win by means other than being around the other girl when she was drunk. "Yeah, that is her. I helped dye her hair and she is awesome." Erin said, nodding along as Frank was saying things that no doubt describe Alex. Now Erin could not help but to think about the other girl and wonder what she was doing. Probably her boyfriend. Erin thought, unable to help feel a little defeated by the thought and sort of slump in her seating position until she heard the question.
"Uh...it makes it harder for me to just get up and run...and so uh, well I want to run but don't want to be rude so-" Erin tried to start to explain but stopped when Frank started to step closer. Then Frank was pulling out lemonade. Wow, this girl was really dedicated to sticking to her role of trying to capture a Pokémon. Even if you could not really use a lemonade on a Pokémon that you didn't own in the video games, but she would not fully her for that. "T-thank you. I won't faint and again like...y-you don't have to capture me in order for me to be your friend. I'll be your friend." Erin responded as she hesitantly reached out to take the lemonade from the other girl.
She just hoped she could grab it before Frank decided throwing it at her would be a good idea. Erin did pout slightly at the last comment about how Pokémon fighting worked and she wondered if Frank was one of those people that though like PETA, even if it came to a video game. She was not going to say anything on it just yet, she wanted to like first figure out if Frank was going to settle down now and not throw things at her.

"Yeah, that sounds right," Frank offered as Erin tossed a name out there. The name did seem sort of familiar, but Frank still didn't know how people kept stuff like that straight. Then again, Erin seemed to really know Alex and stuff and Frank did wonder for a moment there if there wasn't something else going on and if she wasn't getting close to a LOVE TRIANGLE or something equally awesome. Erin did seem to offer up talk about how she helped dye Alex's hair.
"that's not natural? It so looked natural!" Frank put he hands on her hips. "People are just so-- oh yeah," Frank looked back as Erin was slumping slightly. Not running, and apparently that was tempting around Frank. "Aww, but I'm not scary or anything, am I? Okay, like, Atreyu's kinda terrified of me for some reason. And I think I scared off this lesbian couple or something; nobody's seen them for a while but I think they're still around? But I'm not like, here's your lemonade, out to get people or anything."
Frank paused. Erin insisted that she wasn't going to faint and that Frank didn't have to capture her. "Are you sure? 'cuz I watched like, all the episodes, and they pretty well had to knock everyone out to make friends with them. That Bulbasaur got really messed up, yo," Frank looked at Erin for a bit, then bent over. "You could, like, just crawl into the ball or something I guess. Or maybe follow around behind me because you don't like living in the ball and what do you suppose is in those?" Frank paused and lunged, grabbing the ball she'd thrown earlier. "'cuz it's gotta house the pokemon and all. I think it's probably some kinda paradise or something, don't you think?"

Frank was indeed talking about Alex, which just had Erin blushing all the more at the confirmation. So Alex knew Frank, that made sense on some levels since Frank did seem to know a lot of people and was really friendly from what Erin knew about the other girl. She didn’t get why such a rich girl would be that way with others, but she was likely those eccentric rich types. “Nope, b-but that means I did a good job. She looks really good with red hair.” Erin responded, and there were several reason why she thoughts so. She was tempted to list them but decided to keep them in her head so Frank didn’t think she was like obsessed with Alex; even if she might have been just a little bit.
The other girl was about to say something else but then stopped and was pointing out that she was not scary, even if some person named Atreyu seemed to think so. There was also another lesbian couple she seemed to scare off, which Erin was not certain who she was talking about at the moment but she certainly planned to find out later. There was a guess, but did Frank know even the adults like that as well? “I-it’s cause like…well you are an attractive young woman, super rich, but like you are like…in your face. Really energetic. All of that together is scary.” Erin admitted.
Surely someone must have told the other girl as much. Erin just hoped she didn’t hurt her feelings but she felt like she was doing that by basically calling the other girl scary without explaining why. Erin took the lemonade, hesitating before opening it and going to drink it. “I’m sure.” Erin responded, not commenting about the Pokémon episode talk for the time being as she just held her plushie closed to her and sipped on the lemonade. Erin looked at the ball and then looked at Frank as if trying to read if the girl was kidding or not. She had to be.
“I…I can follow you around for a little bit…if that is uh…what you want.” Erin responded as she hesitated for a moment before she stood up. As for the comment about the inside of a pokeball being a paradise and what not. “Well…they had an episode or two that explained that it’s like sort of a place to put them to sleep in a way. Like going into a sort of aware hibernation.” Erin responded, not wanting to get all technical, but she did want to point it out.

"She does," Frank agreed, nodding, "so cute and cuddly and everything," Frank's head just kept bobbing. She hadn't ever met a pre-dyed Alex, so she couldn't actually do comparisons or anything, but the dye job had been good enough to fool Frank... which actually wasn't that hard, all things considered. Frank opened her mouth to continue, but Erin fortunately derailed that conversation time.
"Aww, that's awesome! I am, like, pretty and so rich that I could like totally buy people. Except that's illegal," Frank said, tapping the two of her index fingers together, not wanting to really delve into precisely how she happened to know that. "But I know the energy can be all 'whoa' and stuff. Particularly if, like, now, when I think I had a few cakes?" Frank had to shrug at that. She'd actually lost count of how much she'd eaten. The whole power thing meant that the answer was always "a lot" and given how Frank operated that "lot" usually had "of sugar" attached to it.
Follow her around? "Score!" Frank said, thrusting a hand into the air. "I don't think I wanna have you fight the other adorable lesbians though. That's... also probably illegal," Frank paused to tap her finger to her lip, nodding. "Seems illegal. And I totes did not know that! I must've, like, missed that episode! Well, Pikachu was always, like, super badass for a pokemon, so clearly living outside of the ball helps. Did you want some more Pocky? I could probably get you some iron or something too, but that's not nearly as tasty. I do have some rare candy in my room too, but I don't know how specific that has to be..." Frank scrunched up her face, clearly considering.

Erin could not help but to nod her head a lot at everything that Frank said about Alex, and it just served to keep Erin blushing and now thinking about said girl. Why did she have to have such a crush on Alex? Why had Alex ended up with another guy when they obviously had this connection with one another? Erin knew the answer to those questions, but she just didn't really like to or didn't want to think about those answers. She was just going to have to try her plan and if it didn't work then she was just going to have to wait and see when she would get a crush on the next person.
Falling for someone else would not have been all that hard considering how easily Erin swooned over the ladies. At the moment Erin was just pleased that Frank had not taken what she said in a bad way. It seemed that someone must have told her about such things before or at the very least Frank was not the type to get upset easily. Erin assumed that it was a combination of the two since the other girl looked like she was just a ray of sunshine and bubbles. She just nodded when Frank said that it was illegal to buy people, not finding it at all weird Frank would know that because Erin knew that and honestly it should have been common knowledge by this point.
As for the whole having a few cakes, well Erin heard of what Frank was capable of, so again was not all that surprised and yet again just nodded several times. She did start to smile again; directed at Frank and not her thoughts this time, as the other girl seemed pleased by Erin agreeing to be her friend and follow her around a little bit. It did feel good to gain a new friend and make a pretty lady happy when all she had to do was something simple as say yes and follow. Erin's eyes widen a little bit at the other things Frank was trying to offer her, which had her quickly shaking her head no as she stood up.
"Just Pocky is fine." Erin pointed out, tempted to say she didn't need anything at all, but Pocky was yummy and why pass it up if you could have some for free. Plus she was a little hungry after that lemonade and it would help to have something that could sort of distract her to keep her nerves together.
Post by Frank "Sunny" Laffont on Oct 10, 2015 21:02:25 GMT -6
"Alright, if you're sure," Frank said before handing over an entire box of the stuff. "I actually got, like, a lot of the stuff and all. Sometimes I like to stick some in my mouth and pretend I'm a Japanese vampire or something, but that's not always the best move 'cuz then I get hungry and start, like, trying to use the Pocky to eat stuff. And now at least three Asian people won't let me anywhere near them. Some people," Frank let out a sigh and crossed her arms, shaking her head slightly. She barely held the position for a few moments, mostly because she was already practically vibrating.
So instead she let out a squee and practically glomped Erin. There was definitely hugging involved, and Erin would soon find herself wrapped up in a tight and slightly squishy hug (thanks to Frank being pretty squishy on the whole, between all the candy blub and the impressive boobage and all). "I'm just so excited that I finally got a friend like you! OH, oh," she started doing a bit of a dance, still holding Erin. "You ain't never had a friend, no never had a friend!" Yes, she had started singing Aladdin music exuberantly. Was there any other way to sing it?
