A busy, and tiring morning. And the day was only half over. It had started off with a long class in literature. She usually enjoyed that class, but today, it had been one long hour of listening to her teacher go on and on about how wonderful this guy's writing was. The objective of the class had been to learn about this guy's style of writing, which was apparently very unique, but her teacher had gotten a little caught up in describing all the positive traits of it. She had pretty much gushed about how amazing it was. Like she really wanted to listen to an hour of that.
The next class had been her usual least favorite. Editing. She sucked at it, hated the class, and wished she could have somehow avoided it. But unfortunately, it was one of the requirements for her. So she had struggled through editing a paper, and had gotten a lousy grade as usual. Later had been another lecture, during which she tried to get some work done for other classes, but between taking notes, and having to listen to the guy, she had gotten only a sentence down. It had been rather a relief to get to lunch.
That was at least how the last years of school went, now this year in this town and at Bellefonte yeah was way different, school was not even started up yet and she already was able to know this year was going to be far different then her past years in school. The fact she had people around her who could do things most people believed could only be seen in movies or on T.V yeah well not here you saw it every where on the school grounds. And her she was like well my power only works when I am mad.. So not to flashy and it actually let her come off pretty normal.
Today though she left the school grounds and decided to head to town and take a look around. After a few hours of adventures and pointless walking she found herself walking through a park. Their was a good amount of people around. So of course she was safe enough to be by herself. After a bit of walking she herd a guitar playing, it sounded like the chords of a song she knew and thus made her way over. It was a older man playing, and she took a closer stance to listen. He offered a smile and of course she smiled back at him.
After a few moments though she decided to join in, and add to the beautiful playing. She started off softly barely audible and then the music took over. "I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you"
the song was one of her favorites and thus she had to sing along. Not to mention the older man played pretty well as well. Once the song was over, a small group of people where gathered and they clapped for the two. Kay offered a small blush and a smile.
"Thanks Yall.. was fun, and thanks sir for letting me sing with you, your guitar skills are wonderful."
