Lupe Silvestre, the Wolf Girl
FACE CLAIM: Natalie Dormer
---------------------------------[/div]
AGE: 18-19 (Exact age unknown)
GENDER: Female
ORIENTATION: Unsure
POSITION: Bellefonte student
POWER: Canine Physiology and Adaptive Memory
Although Lupe does not have the power to transform into a canine, she does have access to the various abilities all canine animals naturally have. She has such things like heightened senses, increased agility, and increased speed. Her speed makes her an incredible runner, especially if she runs on all fours.
Like a dog, she has night vision and is incredible at tracking according to scent. Her senses are much better than an average human, in part due to her ability and just from the way she was raised. Lupe is in extremely excellent shape because of her childhood growing up with wolves, and she was already somewhat used to what her abilities would do to her before it actually manifested, although they vastly increased her senses and that took some time to get used to. However, she has great control over her ability.
Her second ability acts as a sort of survival instinct in collaboration with her first ability. She is able to adapt, or “learn” at an incredibly high rate to situations and events she encounters. It helps her process information much faster in order to “survive.” In combat, it helps her make quick-fire judgements to keep herself alive and assess what she can do in the situation. In the human world, it helps her learn human culture and language so she can live among human kind (Although she’d rather not).
Both abilities are constantly on and can’t be switched off. Her canine physiology ability is always at its max. Her advance learning, however, is not. She can focus her efforts if she really wants to learn something or needs to swiftly judge all the points of a situation.
LIMITATIONS:
Lupe's enhanced traits aren’t as strong as someone with, for example, the ability of increased speed or senses (Aka, someone who has an ability that specifically increases a certain trait). While they might be higher than an average human’s, they aren’t as good as a mutant with an ability specifically enhancing that trait.
Lupe can only take the traits of canines, but not transform any part of herself into a canine.
Neither ability can be turned off.
Lupe's adaptive memory is NOT super intelligence. She does not know everything, and there can still be the possibility for her to misunderstand something or misjudge something during a tense situation. Also, it takes her some time to adapt to a situation. However, the longer or more times she is exposed to the event or subject she is trying to adapt to, the faster she will learn.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
While Lupe already had many of the urges and instincts of a wild wolf due to her past, her ability only increases these urges even more. She feels the desire to hunt and prove her dominance to anyone who tries to control her. Although she usually stays a lone wolf from humans, she is still very pack-minded and will form incredibly strong bonds with the few she actually trusts (Which makes her incredibly defensive of those she considers her “pack mates” and slightly possessive).
If she strains herself too much to focus her advanced memory on something, it will often give her a splitting headache and even cause her to pass out if she really strains herself.
Lupe is often very restless and feels the need to run and keep away from civilization. She’s extremely sensitive to loud noises and strong scents. She needs a LOT of food to keep up with her extreme appetite, and she often eats raw meat. She often prefers meat over other foods as well. She also needs a lot of exercise just to make sure she doesn’t get stir-crazy and goes into a frenzy. She also needs to keep exercising if she wants her abilities to stay maximal and have a good control of them.
A girl takes a seat in the small room across from a man holding a notebook. The girl has longer brown hair and piercing blue eyes that are filled with contempt and annoyance as she shifts in the seat. She looks older, mainly due to the scars that seem to exist all over her body and the sheer height of the girl. She seems to be around 5'10 or 5'11 and is made up of all muscle- which is evident even with the baggy clothes she wears. She obviously does not enjoy wearing them, as she keeps shifting them angrily almost like she's tempted to just rip them off. She's pretty, but in a rugged, feral sort of way. As if she belonged in the wild and not in the room. But she was here for a purpose.
Ok, so we just want to ask you some questions about yourself. Can we do that?
She glares over at the man standing by the doorway who had escorted her in before looking back at the one asking questions. "Fine."
So, what's your name?
"You humans call me Lupe Silvestre, so I suppose that's a 'name' for me."
How old are you?
"19 human years."
When did they find you?
"Apparently when I was 16 human years."
How long did it take for the recruiter to find you?
"10 days."
So they say you were living with wolves when the recruiter found you. Is this true?
She scowls angrily at the memory, baring teeth that had been filed into sharp points. She folds her arms over her chest. "Yes. I was living with my pack when you humans stole me from them and took me here. Amongst more of you damn humans."
How exactly did they catch you?
She glares at the man questioning her angrily, looking very pissed that he's bringing this all up. But after a glance to the other man waiting nearby, she only growls and reluctantly answers. "By being the filthy, cheating humans they are."
Cheating?
"Yes." She snaps. "Cheating. They came in and used those things you humans call 'drugs' to put my pack into a slumber. Then they carried me away and took me to this damn place you humans call a 'school.'"
But we're trying to help you, Lupe.
That only makes her expression darken and she leans forward, putting one hand on her knee. It reveals her nails, which are thick and look sharpened like her teeth. "I. Never. Asked. For your. Damn. Help. You human whelps had no right to rip me from my pack. That was my home. Not here. Not with you pitiful creatures."
But you're not a wolf, Lupe. You're a human.
That seems to make her snap and she lunges forward out of her chair. Before she can reach the man, she is restrained and held back in her own chair. She's snarling, her eyes filled with murderous intent. "I am not a human!" She shouts, snapping. "I am a wolf! No matter what you humans try to do to me, I am a wolf! I don't care about your damned washing rituals, your so called 'rehabilitation' to make me better, and your petty attempts to teach me about your ways when I could hardly care less. You loathsome creatures teach me how to act like you, communicate like you, 'dress' like you in these stupid skins. Well I don't need it! I don't need your help because I don't want to be human! I had the misfortune to be born with a human's skin, and for some reason that makes you all think I want to become like you. You're. Wrong. I want nothing to do with you humans other than to sink my teeth into your scrawny little necks" She snarls the last bit, and the room goes silent for a while. She's held down for a time, and the man holding her has to be careful of her teeth as she snaps at his arms, straining against him. He's whispering a few things to her, and eventually she calms down, although it seems reluctant. She glares at the man who's been asking her questions, daring him to ask another.
....So you hate humans?
"Yes."
Why?
"Because you're worthless, cowardly creatures. What good are you humans? All you do is destroy everything around you with no purpose to the destruction. You hunt for sport. My pack and I have run into your 'hunters' numerous times and killed them just as they've slaughter our prey. And for what? So they can come home and brag about the deer they killed from a mile away with no threat of getting hurt? How impressive." She snarls sarcastically.
Couldn't you say wolves hurt for sport too?
She snorts at the question as if it's ridiculous. "We don't hunt for sport, we hunt to survive. There is a very big difference between the two. We kill when we need food and stop when our bellies are full. You hunt just for the thrill of imagining you're some great hunter when you're really just prey with a lucky tool."
So you hate humans because they are "fakes" you could say?
"I hate you pitiful creatures because you're cowards and liars. You stole me from my pack using a dirty trick, and insist on keeping me here when I've made it clear that I don't want to belong. You keep trying to teach me to be human when that's the worst thing in the world that could happen to me! I don't want to be human! I don't want to be anywhere near a human! I just want to be left alone with my pack. But of course you pathetic creatures won't let me. You just have to control everything." She scowls deeply and crosses her arms. "I'm done talking with the likes of you, you worthless waste of flesh." The room goes silent and the girl seems firm with her statement, as she does not respond to anything else. Finally, the man questioning her sighs and closes his notebook.
Then I guess we're done here. Thank you, and you're free to go.
She smiles sardonically at the statement as she gets up and throws him a glare. "Oh yes, free to return to my prison. How very kind of you." She says before exiting the room with a scowl.
