[Seiji Lockard]

"That was a very naughty thing to do, Akiko." Seiji said, scolding his youngest and smallest snake as he held her in his hand. Akiko just went limp in his hold, acting as if she was dead but Seiji knew better and he was not pleased with her. He understood that at times Akiko was not going to listen to him because he had Akiko the shortest amount of time out of all his snakes. Still, he had not expected her to escape his room and go looking for one of the many females that she had a 'crush' on. Thankfully the roommate of the person that Akiko was looking for knew of Seiji and his snakes so ended up calling him instead of anyone else or killing the snake.

"I didn't think I had to actually order you to not do something like that. You were too far away and I had to end up sending out everyone to go try and find you. We were all very worried." Seiji said, still giving Akiko a disappointed look. He had sent Leevi and Sapphire out to help find Akiko since his ability to detect his snakes and other snakes only went so far and he didn't know where she might have gone off to. Ghost of course wanted to go out to help, but there was no way Seiji was going to let a four foot snake go slithering around to find another one. So he had to deal Ghost; his large white boa constrictor hanging around his body, tight enough to not fall but not tight enough to harm his owner.

"Now we have to find Leevi." Seiji said, letting out a sigh because he knew all too well that he probably should not have sent Leevi out by himself. He was likely hanging out in some girl's underwear dresser. However; Seiji was half pleased to see his snake in fact not in someone delicates and instead slithering down the hall not too far in front of him but in the direction of a girl, letting out a hiss to get her attention so she would not step on him. "Oh, no." Seiji let out as he tried to quickly move to try and grab Leevi before the girl noticed him, but carrying a four foot boa, a two foot viper, and a one and a half foot Scarlet Kingsnake did not make moving easy.

Addison was quite accustomed to walking around the school with her noise-cancelling headphones, which was why when the hissing started, she was not even aware. She didn't even realise that there was someone walking behind her holding on to three snakes while one was approaching her pretty fast.

It was only when she realised she had forgotten her book in class that she turned around and saw all four snakes and she froze for a quick second before she started to yell. "Holy crap snake!" A huge grin set on her face as she sidestepped the one right behind her, thankfully not stepping on it, and walked towards the tall very good looking man with snakes covering his undeniably taut body.

"Dude. Did you know the herpatology department from the zoo is currently living on your body?" She teased with a wide child-like grin. "Are they yours? Can I touch them? Would they bite?"

Seiji was so relieved to see the girl wearing headphones, figuring she was listening to music so missed that Leevi had hissed at her to try and get her attention. He still moved on ahead, trying to pick up his snake, but he was too late. She was already turning around and her yell caused him to freeze in his place; as if she would not see him if he was very still. Oh great, here it comes. Her freaking out and telling me I should not be walking around with all these snakes, even if I am allowed to have them as pets. Well...Ghost is pushing it but not my fault he is a boa constrictor. Seiji thought to himself as he prepared to be scolded or in general to have the girl freak out on him.

She did indeed freak out on him, but in a way that was opposite of what she was expecting. The woman was excited and asking him questions instead of running away or yelling at him. Ghost was already wagging the tip end up his tail as he moved around a little to get a better look at the girl. Sapphire however moved from where she was around Seiji's arm and worked her way ever so careful to try and get into his coat pocket. Akiko perked up from her playing dead state from around Seiji's fingers and Leevi let out another hiss from where he was on the ground to get the girl's attention as he slither his way over to Seiji to work on going up his leg.

He gave a small nervous nod to her first question, still processing that she was okay with all of this. Yes, he met a few people who were okay with his snakes, but they normally met one of them at a time and then the rest later, not all at once. "Yes, they are all mine. The one around my neck is Akiko. The one currently making her way into my pocket in Sapphire. The one on the floor behind you in Leevi and the one currently taking up most of my body is Ghost." Seiji said, pointing with his free hand to each snake as he introduced them. "Oh, of course you can touch them, they won't bite. I promise." Seiji assured her with a friendly smile. No biting, everyone. That’s an order. Seiji gave the order to his snakes within his thoughts.

Addison's eyes practically devoured all the snakes one by one as the very tall and very handsome older man introduced her to all four of them. The brunette's hand itched to touch them but sel-restraint apparently was on her side. For once.

"They're so gorgeous." She breathed before her eyes widened and looked up at him with her eyebrows raised. "Really? Man, musta been hell to tame them all." She grinned and reached out to touch the one he called Ghost. The cold scales felt foreign to her warm hands but she loved running her hand up and down the body.

That was when she realised where she was and what they all were and she looked at him with a grin. "Are you a snake charmer? Is that your power?" She asked, her hands still carefully running up and down the snake's long body.

Seiji could quickly tell the woman loved all of this, which honestly made him feel really happy. He always liked to make people happy and people tended to not get along that well with snakes, so a situation like this always made him feel overjoyed. "Thank you. They all say that you are an attractive human female." Seiji informed her. Even if Sapphire was not saying that, the other three were so she was going to have to deal with being lumped in with the rest like she usually was.

He of course thought that she was a pretty person as well, but he didn't want to make her uncomfortable after already telling her that his snakes said it, which they did. "Not really. Sapphire was a bit of a challenge, Leevi gets stubborn at times, and Akiko is still young so I let her slide from time to time. However; overly they are all very obedient and by this strange in me owning them I don't often have to use my power." Seiji informed her, keeping his warm and friendly smile on the whole time.

While he did still use his power on them just to be sure at times, most of the time he didn't really need to use it. He watched her as she pet Ghost, letting out a small cough when Ghost started to squeeze him a bit too much as the snake moved to get a better look at the girl and as well to nuzzle his head against her body. He mostly loved when someone would pet under his chin or the top of his head; much like a dog. "Something like that, snake manipulation is the name of my ability. I can talk to them, see through their eyes, and control them to a certain degree." Seiji informed her, unable to help but to chuckle a little at being called a snake charmer.

“Are you certain you are not the snake charmer? All three of them just want you to pet them and give them attention.” Seiji informed her, chuckling a little again. Then again, it was nothing new for Akiko, ghost, and Leevi to want attention and to be petted. Ghost and Akiko were certainly his most attention seeking snakes and Leevi just likes all females.

The compliment had Addison smile toothily up at the tall man before she stepped even closer, more to the snakes than to him. "You're a pretty attractive bunch too." Addison scrunched up her nose and tickled Leevi on the top of his head.

She didn't realise the guy was being slowly crushed as she checked all the snakes out while he told her about their personalities. "How long have you had them?" She asked.

Finding out his abilities made sense to her and she nodded and told him so. When he turned the tables on her, she chuckled. "The only thing I can charm is your blood. And my abilities are not in play right now." She responded almost distractedly as Sapphire started moving her head hypnotically.

Seiji just smiled right back, thinking that she had a pretty smile and was not bothered that she had moved closer towards him. He already figured it was more so moving closer to his snakes then it really was moving closer to him. It was nice at any rate, to have someone who was fine dealing with four, well three snakes all at once. Sapphire was still moving away and hanging out around her master's neck and debating if she would be able to make it over Ghost to Seiji's pocket.

"They said thank you." Seiji informed her, thinking that she was again just talking about his snakes. He was indeed being crushed a little, but nothing that he was worried about at the moment since he trusted his snakes. It was not like any of them were doing it on purpose; they were just moving around and making sure that they were not going to fall. Seiji was just happy that he was so tall and could handle the weight of all of them on his person. Snakes were not light, not in the slightest; especially Ghost.

"Uh, Ghost I got when I was twelve years old. Sapphire was when I was sixteen. Leevi when I was eighteen and little Akiko I got at around twenty-three or twenty-four." Seiji informed her when he asked how long he had each of them. Ghost was the oldest, but it was a good thing that boa constrictors had a pretty long life span so Seiji was not worried about losing his best and first friend just yet. She spoke of her power, charming blood, and how they were not in play. Seiji was terribly confused and it was written all over his face. "I'm afraid I don't follow. A blood based power and you don't have very good control over it?" Seiji asked, trying to see if he was on the right track at least.

She was entranced by the snakes' movements that she didn't hear the tall man speak. But she did manage to control herself when she realised just how close she was to him that she could see the man's Adam's apple.

Quickly, her blood rushed up to her cheeks but before they could colour them, she pulled it back with her abilities. A soft hue touched her cheeks for a second before it disappeared. Personal space invasion was a huge no no to the blood manipulator so she wasn't going to start making someone else uncomfortable by doing the exact thing that made her uncomfortable.

It was also just in time for her to hear when he got his snakes. The question he posed made her smile a little, ducking her head in embarrassment when she realised she couldn't actually remember saying anything. It was a good thing he actually reminded her.

"Sorry no. I'm...I'm a blood manipulator. A pretty damn adept one at that. But I actually meant that I have control over it so I won't be charming anybody's blood any time soon. Least of all yours."

Seiji honestly didn't mind how close she was, because again he figured it was all for the sake of being closer to his snakes. After all; he was Seiji Lockard, and while there were woman who teased him in flirtatious manner he didn't actually think anyone was interested in him. A now twenty-five year old virgin with four snakes? That didn't really scream 'hot' in his mind. Then again he never really had that high of an opinion of himself since other than maintain a healthy mind and body; when he was not binge study, he mainly focused on others more than himself.

He did notice the blushing, but when she pointed out her power he didn't really think anything of it. Perhaps she was showing off her power or while she did say she had control over it, perhaps she didn't have it controlled to the finer details like blood rushing to her face. He was not sure, but he certainly wanted to find out since he didn't get to really study too mainly blood manipulators. It was one of those abilities that not a lot of people ended up with and was also pretty dangerous on some levels depending on how it affected the user.

"I don't meet too many blood manipulators. I am actually pretty curious to how you control your ability and would not mind if you used me as an example. You said you have good control over your power so I would trust you would not drain all life out of my body; unlike these guys who keep squeezing me." Seiji pointed out, letting out another cough which had Ghost loosening his hold a little and asking if the human female could hold him.

"Would you like to hold Ghost? He really wants you to." Seiji asked, not wanting to toss a heavy boa constrictor on the girl but he was already working on unwinding Ghost from around his body. If she didn’t he would just put Ghost on the floor to give his body a quick break. If she did, well he was still going to hold onto part of Ghost to see how much of the snake’s weight she could handle.

It may not scream 'hot' in his mind but it sure as hell did hers. Give her a snake charmer that looked like he stepped out of an Abercrombie and Fitch poster and she's putty in their hands.

"I bet you don't. We're a rare breed." Addison joked with a small smile as she let the biggest snake rub his head against the back of her hand. She chuckled at the guy's commentary on trusting her. "Probably just wants to meld into your body. God knows they're not the only ones." She added the last part under her breath.

She finally looked at the guy after paying more attention to the snakes when he offered the chance to hold his snake. The biggest one at that.

"Yes. Heck yes. Colour me interested." She didn't quite know exactly how to handle a boa constrictor on her person, seeing as the snake itself looked to weigh a lot more than her and was twice her length. "How do I do this?" She asked, her energy levels skyrocketing to lend a hand in her erratic heart beat. "Oh shit, here I am about to manhandle your snake and I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Addie."

He had no clue what was going on in the woman's mind, but if he did he would certainly be turning red from it all. For now he was just happy to meet someone who was fine with all his snakes and having a conversation with him. There were not that many that he got to hang out with that long and normally when he met someone he ended up not seeing them ever again. He hoped that in this case it would be different because like her power, it was rare to meet someone this okay with snakes and him. "Indeed you are. That is why, if you are ever willing to show your ability. I would love to see it." Seiji responded, clearly interested in what she could do.

"I would love to see how your ability works specifically for you and if there is anything you need to watch out when using your power." Seiji added, unable to keep his job out of his mind and some concern for someone who could control blood. He just wanted to ask so many questions and learn so much more but he held himself back for now, knowing not everyone was alights just talking about their powers. He didn't catch what she said under her breath, but knew she had said something and had a look of wonder on his face at what she might have said.

"Well I don't know about them wanting to merge with me and more of some of them wanting to see if my power works in reverse." Seiji informed her as he chuckled a little. Thankfully his power did not work in reverse, unless you counted when he had been drinking. Then he was more susceptible to doing what his snakes told or wanted him to do. Then it was onto her holding Ghost; who was more than excited for this to happen, and thus was wagging the end of his tail like a dog would.

"Oh, there are a lot of ways to hold such a big snake. I prefer starting off with allowing him to wrap around the waist, since you have the most support there and also the most body height." Seiji informed her as he carefully help Ghost wrap most of his body around the girl. He still held onto Ghost for a moment, to allow her to get used to the weight of the boa around her. Ghost held in such a way not to harm her but also that if she got tired of assist holding with her hands, he would be able to keep himself from falling to the ground.

"Nice to meet you Addie, I'm Seiji." Seiji introduced himself back, chuckling at how he forgot something so basic until now.

Addison couldn't help but wonder why the people she had encountered so far speak funny. Why are they so damn polite? Now she was forced to use her words and politeness and God knows she didn't have those just lying around.

"Uh...sure. Um...are you like...a teacher here or something?" She asked, wondering what business he had wanting to see her abilities.

She thought for a moment of what she had been trained to do. Most of what her ability does only effects her, since she can't really do much to anyone else. And they aren't external. The only way she knows how to show how it works is to hurt herself. And she was not about to do that.

She laughed lightly at his joke, scuffing her shoes on the ground, wincing when it made a little too much noise.

"Around my waist? As you can see, I don't have much height to me to begin with." She joked but let the boa wind itself around her. It was such a strange feeling being in a snake's coil. It wasn't tight enough that she was panicking but it was enough that she could really feel it moving on her. It tickled too.

An involuntary giggle escaped her lips when Ghost hit a particularly sensitive spot on her body but she kept still. "Okay, what are his thoughts on this right now." She asked with a chuckle.

Seiji had been raised a very rich and proper kid and it was something that just never went away through the years. Of course he did not care if people spoke at polite or with the same level of vocabulary as him. He honestly didn't mind in the slightest and if he was made aware that she didn't like the way he was talking or didn't get it he would do his best to use other words and try not to sound like he was some doctor. He was not doctor, but he might as well have been with the kind of work that he did.

"Not yet. I will be for a Mutant 101 class when the school year starts up. I just finished up college but I have been the Side-Effect Specialist for a little over a year now." Seiji informed her. He honestly was excited about teaching the class but he was still a bit nervous about it. Worse case, he could always just stick to his one job of being a side-effect specialist. She didn't go any more into her power or even offer to show him, so he took that as a sign that she didn't want to. He left that topic alone for now and instead focused on helping her hold Ghost.

It was nice to hear her laugh and that he was sort of the cause for it, even if he was just telling it like it was. He did suppose it was sort of a good joke, but he was already smiling so no change there. "It's okay; you can be short and still hold him. Snakes are very good at managing to fit in or on small places despite their size." Seiji informed her. It was all thanks to their ability to coil up, which Ghost was doing to also make sure that he didn't fall. His body was still held a little by Seiji so he felt pretty safe.

Another giggle, perhaps she was ticklish? Ghost moved in such a way to check to see if that was the case because he was certainly curious. Seiji knew because he could hear all of his snake’s thoughts about how Sapphire didn't want to be here. Leevi saying go for her chest and Akiko being jalousie that she was not the one being held. "Uh...well he is thinking about how nice you smell, how easy it would be...to crush you right now, how you are very sweet, and how he wants to try tickling you. Oh, he is promising he won’t hurt or eat you." Seiji said, hesitant to tell her because of the whole crushing part, but Ghost was quick to add he would not do that.

Nodding at the response she got, she realised that she had been putting her moves on a teacher. It gave her some pretty icky feelings, ones that she wanted to shake off pretty badly. But she had a snake winding itself around her so for now, she was occupied. It also made her feel just ever so slightly better that he was actually a teacher and not some dude who had a fetish for blood or something.

"Probably something to do with them not having bones." Addison added a little distractedly as she let her fingers glide along Ghost's skin.

Her giggles froze in her throat when Seiji mentioned that Ghost was thinking of how easy it would be to crush her. Nervous laughter spilled out erratically when the guy tried to reassure her that Ghost promised not to do it. "That's good to know." She said in a high pitched voice before clearing her throat. "I mean okay."

Seiji was not a teacher yet, but he would be at the start of the semester. It was mostly going to be a trail run to see if he could in fact handle being a teacher and a Side-Effect Specialist at the same time. He thought he could handle it but he knew it was probably going to lead to some sleepless nights and him possibly getting sick. Still, he thought it would all be worth it in the end because he would be able to help out his fellow mutants in even more ways. He didn't even realize that she had been putting any moves on him; he was a bit slow like that since he didn't think anyone would be interested in a guy like him.

Overall she had nothing to worry about in terms of him trying to put any moves on her or saying anything about it. "Well, snakes actually do have bones. They are vertebrates and have a backbone and ribs just like we do." Seiji informed her. It was a common misconception that people didn't think snakes had bones because of how flexible they were. It was just that their bones were different then human bones and allowed them to bend in such ways in part thanks to their bodies being made of a lot of muscle. He didn't want to talk her ear off about all of that, so left it at that.

Then as expected she clearly was nervous after Seiji informed her of what Ghost was thinking. She had asked, but he supposed he should have left that part out. He just didn't think too much of it because he knew Ghost would never actually harm a person. That cat Humphries; who still owed Seiji a medical visit, yes he was likely to try and eat him. However Ghost did not want to eat any humans, especially those of the nice smelling female verity. "Oh, don't worry at all. He would never do it. I don't even have to order him not to, he is really friendly and more like a dog then a snake." Seiji quickly assured her as he ruffled his hair a little. Ghost flicked his tongue on Addison; his only way of licking someone like a dog.
