Work It Like A Runway

[Jun-Aaron Starr]

"Yes, we don't know one another but I need your help. It is a matter that I simply cannot do alone. My name is Jun Aaron Starr. Jun-Aaron is my first name but feel free to shorten that or call me something involving one of those two names." Jun-Aaron said to the person that he had just randomly grabbed outside of the hallways and pulled into the auditorium. He was not pulling on them too hard; so they could easily slip away, but he was pulling them with enough force to get them moving in the direction of the stage.

It was summer break but here he was hanging around the school with certain things to take care off because he was slightly behind do to a modeling event he had to go to. It was for one of his classes; in where he had to basically becoming a fashion designer instead of being the model that he was. This meant he needed to make clothing, have them modeled, and get photos of it. The problem was the teacher said he could not be the model for it so here he was grabbing some random passerby to do the modeling for him. "I'll pay you for your time. I just need you to try on a few things, let me take your photo wearing them, and a video of you walking in it to show that it is not only fashionable but functional." Jun Aaron informed them of their task.

He offered money at first, feeling that should have been a decent way to encourage or get someone’s help. This was what he got for not just posting up an ad and waiting until he was a day away from his deadline. "So, will you help me?" Jun Aaron asked as he would look towards the person he had captured to get a better look at them.

[Carmelita Volpez]

Carmelita had been walking through the halls towards her office after her lunch break. She still had quiet a lot of work to do when, out of nowhere, a boy had grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her off. Normally she would've frowned and ripped her hand away to demand what was happening, but the boy was already talking. His name was Jun Aaron? That was quiet the unique name. And despite herself, Carmelita was getting curious now. He seemed like a student, so she might as well have heard him out.

They headed towards the auditorium, and Carmelita grew even more curious. Jun was saying something about her trying clothes on, and even paying her for it. Apparently he needed a model for pictures and a video. The request made Carmelita smirk slightly. Well now, what was this? If only her sister were there to see her now. Actually, if Mariana was there she'd probably just offer to be the model. A supermodel would've definitely helped this boy. But Carmelita decided to humor him, partially becuase she wanted to see a glimpse into what Mariana had to deal with everyday.

When he finally actually looked at her, Carmelita smiled and set her things down on one of the nearby chairs. "Actually, I believe I will, Jun." she answered with her Latina accent shining through, standing back up and facing him. "And no need to pay me. It is part of my job to help the students whenever they need it. And besides," she grinned before shrugging, "my sister is actually a super model. So this would be an interesting glimpse into her world."

The person he had grabbed didn't even put up a fight or said anything the whole time; not like he gave them much room to argue when he was talking and informing them of his plan. He didn't want them to think he was kidnapping them or pulling them away to do anything harmful to them. That was not in his taste and he also didn't have time for such thing. He could tell who he grabbed had ended up being female by the way her wrist felt, but he was in the zone and didn't stop until all that was needed to be said was said.

With that all out of the way, he gave her a good look over, seeing which of the outfits he had on him would work for her body type. He smiled when she said that she was willing to help him out but the smile went away slightly when she said he didn't have to pay her because it was her job to help out the student. That confused him for a moment until he recalled that he was in fact a student; a student who was rarely actually around or in school, but a college student all the same. There was something else there to, that her sister was a super model. "Oh, is she? What is her name, I might know her. I'm a male model as well, only doing this photography class because it’s just something extra to add on my experience." Jun Aaron informed her as he moved to mess with his camera for a moment.

He then moved over to the wardrobe, looking out a dress, to her, and then back to the dress before he went over and held out the outfit for her to try on. "Try this one please. You can change behind the curtain or the bathroom backstage if you don't feel comfortable doing that. Oh, I didn't catch your name by the way." Jun Aaron spoke up, feeling like he was talking a bit too fast, but he was in sort of a rush. He had an hour to get all that he wanted done, done and he tended to always bite off more then he could chew...figuratively speaking, because literally he could eat a lot.

[Carmelita Volpez]

Jun seemed happy to hear that Carmelita was willing to do the modeling for him, judging from his smile. It faded a bit and got a little confused when she mentioned that she didn't need pay for the modeling. Maybe he was just surprised? Carmelita didn't comment on it, because he immediately asked about her sister and revealed that he too was a model. Carmelita was faintly impressed, but answered his inquiry. "Mariana Volpez. She's mostly in Mexico, but I have found her in a few magazines up here in the states." She mused. It was always fun seeing her sister in the magazines. It was good to know she was doing so well. And Carmelita didn't even get started on some of the other things her sister modeled for.

When Jun handed her the dress, Carmelita's eyes instantly lit up, pleased at the outfit. She took it from him with a smile and listened as he instructed her on where to change. She waved her hand at the idea of being uncomfortable. "I'll be fine." She said before heading behind the curtain. She was not ashamed of her body at all. And besides, Jun wasn't her type, so it didn't even matter that much. "And my name's Carmelita." She called over her shoulder as she disappeared behind the curtain. It only took her a minute or two before she came back around the curtain, fully dressed. It was just her size, and Carmelita was already in live with it. She smiled up at the boy and struck a bit of a pose. "I think I like this dress." She confessed with a grin

Yes, he was more than happy that she was willing to help him out. If she had not been then he would have just shooed her out of the way and left to go drag someone else in. Jun Aaron liked to think he was a nice guy but he knew himself well and how he could honestly be. When he was in need of getting something done and someone was not going to help or was not involved then they might as well just leave because they were not going to exists until he was done. Thankfully he didn't have to worry about any of that and she was all for helping him out; even informing him that she had a sister that was a model.

Hmmm...Mariana Volpez, sounds familiar. Jun Aaron thought to himself as it was visible clear that he was searching his mind for any connection to the name. "I have heard of her but I don't think I have ever worked with her. At least not to my memory. I do a lot of work in Europe and here in the states as well." Jun Aaron informed her, so that was perhaps why he might not have run into her sister. Then again he might have and just could not remember off the top of his head because he let a lot of people in his line of work and people just ended up blurring together at a certain point.

Then they were onto the dress and she seemed perfectly fine with changing, which made things all the easier. He was not going to look; he had manner, even if he knew he would probably enjoy the view. "Nice to meet you, Carmelita. Sorry about basically kidnapping you to help me." Jun Aaron said with a small chuckle as he messed around on his camera a few times. It was nice to have an expensive one but he had to read through the manual and watch some tutorial videos a few times before he actually figured out how to work it. It just proved to himself he was better in front of the camera instead of behind it.

"Well you can keep it after we are done here. I have the designs down on paper so I can always make it again." Jun Aaron assured her as he pointed to where he wanted her to stand. "For this, really you can stand anyways you want or do what you want...within reason. It's mostly to get the outfit itself and how it looks on a body. Then the next outfit will be more about you and the outfit as one." Jun Aaron informed her, pretty much allowing her to have free rain for the moment.

[Carmelita Volpez]

Carmelita hadn't talked to her sister in a while now, she realized. After this, she should probably contact her again to chat and find out how she was doing. "That could be it. I'm going to talk with her after this, so I could ask her if she's ever met you." Carmelita said with a shrug. Mariana knew quite a lot of people from her job, so she might actually know the boy.

Carmelita laughed at his apology. "It's nice to meet you too. And don't worry about it." She said, waving off his concern. "If I had thought you meant me harm, I would've acted. But you seem nice enough." If Carmelita had serious thought Jun had meant to hurt her, she wouldn't have hesitated in transforming and mauling the boy. She had dealt with perverts before. She knew how to handle herself.

She perked up at the prospect of keeping the dress. It really was lovely, and se felt like she could get good use out of it. "I would like that very much! Thank you." She said as she looked to where he pointed and moved. Once she was in position, she listened to his instructions. So she had to show off the outfit. Well, she should just keep a casual, easy pose then so he could get the whole thing. With this in mind, she struck a more simple pose with a hand on her hip. "Alright. If you want something specific, just let me know."

"Let me know if she recalls meeting me or at working together." Jun-Aaron responded when Carmelita pointed out that she was going to talk to her again. Hey, if she was going to talk to her then it didn't hurt to ask about him. Not like he actually knew what to expect; other than that she of course knew him, but that was his egotistical side that he kept at bay as he focused on his way. He still didn't want to fully do this sort of thing, but it was for class. It also made it all worth it when he had nice woman like Carmelita's whose beauty also was just an added bonus.

She seemed pleased to meet him and sure that if he had been trying to hurt her she would have done something about it. He wondered what kind of power she had that gave her that confidence or maybe she was just very aware of what she was capable of doing. Again, he was not the kind of guy who went out of his important way to hurt someone. "Lucky me, last time I just grabbed a woman I got signed to death." Jun said with a small chuckle as he thought back to the time he had met Mia.

Mia was a sweet heart once you got passed all that was there when he had scared her. She was in the right because he did just scoop her up in the air, but he figured they were cool now. "It's all yours then." Aaron assured her as he was now ready with his camera, holding in both his hands as he got ready to go crazy with the photos. He didn't need anything special for this first outfit, so as soon as she posed he went right to work taking photos. Most of were focused on the way the outfit fir the body, since that was what he was supposed to be doing.

"Alright, good. The next outfit is right there and for these photos I need you to give me some attitude. Not verbally, physically with your body. Stand in ways that give off like you have an attitude or not pleased with something." Jun Aaron informed her as he pointed to the next outfit laid out for her. This one was simple in his opinion but it still gave that 'don't touch this' vibe in his opinion. As for his directions to her, well he was no professional photographer.

At the mention of the last time he tried grabbing a girl, Carmelita laughed. Somehow she could see it- see this boy dashing through the halls and grabbing another poor unfortunate soul like he had Carmelita. Only they probably wouldn't have reacted so well to it as Carmelita had. They probably would've slapped him, or worse. "You may want to be more careful grabbing women then." She advised teasingly, an amused smirk on her face.

Carmelita practically beamed when he said the outfit was hers. She would definitely use it. But for now, she posed for him, trying her best to take stances that showed off the outfit and not so much her. She could practically hear Mariana giving her advise, strutting around her with a keen eye to fix her sister's stance. Part of Carmelita wished she were actually there. She deeply missed her siblings. Perhaps before the summer was over she would return to Mexico for a break.

When Jun announced she was finished with that outfit, Carmelita nodded and headed back behind the curtain to put on the new one, listening all the while. Once again, she liked the chosen outfit. Very much so. "I may end up asking to keep everything at this rate." She joked as she came back out and went to the same spot he had indicated before. Alright, attitude. She had to act as if she was not available. Untouchable. Carmelita inhaled deeply and shut her eyes, tried to think of what Mariana would say. 'Look pissed' would probably be something she'd say. Pretend you're looking at one of those perverts back in high school who never left you or me alone. now that certainly brought something out of her.

When she opened her eyes, they glinted. Cold, aloof, and uninterested. As if she were looking at something that seemed like a waste of her time. Her facial expression followed suit, as did her body as she moved into a new pose. It radiated some kind of aura that definitely said 'Back off. It made her seem like she was superior, and uninterested. And most importantly: Untouchable

"I do or someone is going to end up damaging my pretty face or worse...kick me in my manhood." Jun-Aaron said, shuttering at the image of the last one. He had been very lucky to be able to avoid ever getting hit across the face or kicked where the sun did shine sometimes but was mostly covered up do to laws of public decency and what have you. Even if he did think it was practically unjust for people to not see what was underneath all of his clothing, minus the wings. That was his egotistical side getting to him however and he quickly managed to quell it with the distraction of the beautiful woman in his camera's lens.

He was pleased at her hustle, making him think that her sister had probably showed her a thing or two about being a model. At least he felt like she would be a person who would have respect for the field and know that it was not as easy as some people thought it was. Yes, they were expected to look perfect and be that 'ideal look' but there were still human and had their flaws that they had to deal with in order to be 'perfect'. "You really like them?" Jun Aaron asked, sounding a little surprised. He was not as confident in this area of modeling when he was the one to make the clothing and take the pictures.

He normally liked to dress people up in clothing he was given as a gift or to wear around to get it out in the public view. In other words, this was still something new to him and he could not help but feel that ego coming back at the sort of praise. Then it was onto the next outfit and Carmelita was working it in all the right ways. Hell, at a point her started to just focus on her face and not her and the outfit because of the looks she was giving. "Very good, but damn; feel like my chances of ever being able to take you on a date are flying out the window with that look you are giving me." Jun said with a small chuckle.

[Carmelita Volpez]

Carmelita couldn't help but laugh at his shudder. "Yes, you should be especially careful about that." She advised with a smirk. She had seen a few fights between girls and guys back at Acton Vale. There weren't many at all, but the few she had seen almost always ended with the boy lying on the ground after a particularly bad groin shot. And on one occasion the girl had been wearing spiked boots. Even now Caremlita grimaced slightly just at the thought. The boy had almost passed out from pain.

The blonde herself didn't care too much for public decency- within reason of course. It probably had to do with her upbringing in all honesty. Mariana and Carmelita had always hung around the beach in bikinis, and he normally walked around with their stomachs and/or legs exposed. Neither Volpez girl had been afraid to show off their body. They knew they looked good, so why hide it? Sure, they didn't walk around naked, but they weren't afraid to show skin. Carmelita herself hung around her house half dressed more than half of the time.

Caremlita knew the difficulty models faced fairly well from the chats she had with Mariana. They were pressured to appear like perfect human beings practically 24/7. It could be extremely stressful, and Carmelita was happy to let her sister vent to her whenever she needed. And if Jun was a model, he probably went through the same difficulties. "Mhmmm." Carmelita hummed in answer, smiling. "They are very nice indeed. I would definitely wear them a lot." She added.

Carmelita laughed heartily at his remark, grinning wolffishly at him as she tilted her head to the side slightly. "Thank you. But just remember that it was you who wanted an untouchable girl." She teased. "I just imagine what my sister Mariana would say to me if she were here." Carmelita added truthfully with a shrug

"It's only ever girls who do such a cruel thing. You don't ever see a guy kick a guy in his sack unless they were both being stupid." Jun Aaron responded as he shook his head. Woman must have did it because they just didn't understand how bad it could hurt? Yes, the pain did past and some guys could handle it better but he doubt a girl would like getting kicked between her legs. It probably would hurt just about the same or maybe less because girls apparently had that high tolerance for pain and everything was up inside.

He shook his head to get his mind off this train of thought, not wanting to think about people parts when he was supposed to be working. Jun did go through difficulties as a model, but he thought it was all worth it in the end and it had made him the person he was today. He also had support from his family members as well, even if they were not always around when he actually needed to talk to someone. That was nothing new, there were times when he was out of the state so did have to just suck things up and deal with them on his own.

"Well thank you. How about we make a deal then? I'll let you keep everything that you try on today if you let me take you out to get a drink. Sound fair?" Jun asked, figuring they both won that way. He would get to take out a pretty lady for some drinks and she would get to keep the outfits he made all to herself. He chuckled a little as well at her response. "Yes, I did want that so you hit what I asked spot on." Jun Aaron responded, taking a few more photos before he was satisfied and pointed to the next outfit.

"Alright, this next one will be the last one. This one I still want you to be untouchable, but also a temptress. Lure them in but they still can't have you, not without some work." Jun Aaron explained as he looked through the different camera filters to find the one he was looking for while he waited for her to change. This outfit hugged the skin a bit more so he didn’t want her to rush and accidentally rip it so he didn’t rush her.

Carmelita only chuckled as she listened to Jun speak. When she had seen fights between boys back at her old school, Jun was right. They hardly ever aimed for that spot. It was almost like a whole system of honor each boy understood. Well, most of them anyways. The crueler boys wouldn't care that much and go for it anyways. But luckily, that almost never happened, and the fights had been relatively few. Carmelita attributed it to the school's laxer nature and the connection most of the kids seemed to share.

Carmelita raised an eyebrow at his offer, slowly smirking. Getting a drink with a student? Well, it was the summer. And of course, Jun wasn't really Carmelita's type, so there was no danger of anything bad happening. Plus, she did want the outfits. He was smart to throw those in; now she basically couldn't say no. "Clever, aren't we? How could I possible say no to a deal like that?" She mused with a grin. "I accept."

She nodded gratefully at his compliment. Then, she looked over at the new outfit and her eyes glittered as she picked it up. "Oooo.... Oh yes, I am definitely accepting your deal, Jun-Aaron!" She said before heading back to change. She listened while she changed, and smirked slightly and she returned to her spot once again, running her fingers through her hair. An untouchable temptress, huh? Oh, Carmelita could do that.

Once again, she closed her eyes and inhaled, thinking about what Mariana would advise. Just imagine a girl- you know what you like. Imagine you'r staring at her. You want her, yes, but you want HER to want YOU. Make her work for your attention, make her want it. Mariana would advised, probably with a smirk. Be more tease, less flirt. Lure her in, but don't give her what she wants just yet. It's a chase- a tease. Show her who the master of the game is.

When Carmelita opened her eyes this time, they still glinted, but they smoldered as well. A smirk was on her face, teasing and yet alluring, like a hook that just snagged into its target and was now reeling it in. But it didn't seem so easy. Even as the pose she took was undoubtably sexy, there seemed to still be a part of her that was withdrawn. Not so interested. She wasn't going to give in so easily. Whoever she was looking at was going to have to work for her attention. Untouchable, yet seductive.

There was a raised brow at his offer, but she was considering it. He could tell just by that look in her eye. He often forgot that people sometimes were hesitant because he was a student, but he honestly forgot that he was a student at times. He often missed a lot of class and had to make it up and he was only in college just for the added money that a degree gave you. That was pretty much it; oh there was a little more to it than that, he also wanted to try out a few other things in his career field because it didn't hurt to expand you knowledge. "I like to think I have been in the game long enough to know how to get what I and another person want. After all, it’s about pleasing both parties involved." Jun Aaron pointed out with a casual wink.

Yes, he was the kind of person that did like to get what he wanted but also to make sure the other person got what they wanted from a deal as well. Life just went all the more smoother when there was a middle ground to be met at, at that was where he wanted to be. All the same, she accepts the deal, like he figured she would. She was even grateful for his complement, but how she reacted made something click in his mind. He was not certain of it yet, but he had a pretty good feeling on it. However; he kept it to himself for the time being to focus on what they were here to do. He told her what he wanted and she certainly delivered and then some.

He made sure to get all the right shots, even moving around a bit more to get different angles, but still just right to get the shots he wanted. It was perfect, or at least as close as it was going to be with someone who was not a professional photographer and still knew to photography in general. "After my heart, Carmelita. I don't think I can handle that look anymore without feeling the need to work hard to get you to fall for me." Jun Aaron said, teasing a little as he moved to pack up his camera. That was all he needed for now, but before he put his camera away completely he pulled it out again and went over to show her the pictures really quick.

"Thank you for your help got everything I need." Jun Aaron informed her. "Oh, and since you agreed to our deal the outfits you tried on today are all yours and I'll even alter them if you feel anything is too tight or loose, but that also means you are going out for a drink with me today." Jun informed her as he would click through the photos for her to see.

Carmelita smirked as he talked about the game and knowing how to play. "Very true. Keep your attitude like that and you just might win it." She said. Carmelita knew about the game, and she was a pretty good player too. She usually ended up getting what she wanted, and if she didn't she just moved on. No point in crying over spilled milk when there was more to eat. And besides, she could always get what she wanted another way if she really needed to.

At his complimenting tease, Carmelita laughed heartily and shook her head. "Well I certainly like playing hard no get, so this pose wasn't so hard." She replied with a sly smirk and a shrug. It was true, she enjoyed toying with her "prey" so to speak. There was a thrill to it that fed into the playful nature of her feral side. It was almost like luring out a mouse; she had to be careful and slow, but the reward was worth it and the prowess was enjoyable. Maybe that's why she loved introverts so much?

When he came over to show her the pictures, Carmelita blinked. They were... Good. Beyond good actually. Not only did the pictures seem professional, but Carmelita herself looked good in her poses.Maybe modeling runs in the family? She mused internally as she listened to Jun speak while she looked through the pictures. She smirked at that last bit, but didn't mind it. A deal was a deal, and he seemed like a good person. "The pleasure was all mine, Jun. The pictures look very professional. And the clothes fit perfectly, so I think you're alright. As for the drink, what place did you have in mind?" She questioned

Jun Aaron knew that he would win it, but that was not always the case. You had to figure the person out if you wanted to win them, that were also a part of the game. Like trying to figure out Carmelita, which he was getting mixed feelings from when trying to figure out if she was into him or just playing along. The latter seemed more than likely since she was not behaving the usual way a girl would if she was actually interested. "Win with you or just in general?" Jun asked. There, that would help him get a real gauge on her actual intentions behind her playing the game back with him.

No matter if he could win her or not, he still fully planned to go have that drink with her and enjoy his time around her. Even if he was not going to have any luck, there was nothing wrong with at least getting to be around an attractive young lady. "I bet, but the chase is what makes the hunt the best." Jun Aaron pointed out with a smirk. Personally he liked to do at least a little bit of work to get a girl. Even if it was for just a quickly, he didn't want it to be handed to him. Things were far better when you worked for them, and he believed that in pretty much every aspect of his life.

He showed off the pictured, pleased enough with himself and how things turned out but he did feel like they could be a little better. Telling himself that was how he was able to keep his ego in check and not allow himself to get too big of a head. "Thank you, I do like to think I have a natural talent for all of this." Jun said as he ran his hands through his hair, that air of confidence leaking out from him again. "Well, it's still a bit too early to be getting wasted. So how about Cool Beans? For a cookie or whatever drinks you are feeling." Jun Aaron suggested as he moved back to his camera bag to pack up.
