Guy flipped through another folder, frowning slightly. Shadow beasts, really? that sounded like something out of Tolkein. "Thinks the dwarf that can silence mutant powers with a thought," muttered Guy. Apparently this one literally transformed into some kind of shadow wolf, which, Guy had to admit, sounded pretty badass, or at least more badass than several of the powers that he'd had to deal with in his time here. She certainly seemed more interesting than the Cox girl whose ability really seemed to be more her constant ability to annoy the faculty and staff.
Guy had set up the training room appropriately, though he did suppose it could be seen as a tad insulting. The various chew toys and knotted ropes he had here and there could be taken the wrong way. So could the giant bone that Guy was technically sitting on now. Or perhaps the various balls he had scattered throughout the room. At least he hadn't quite decided to drag the giant stuffed cat in the room. No, he figured he had to save something for the next session.
Though there was some childish part of him that was wondering if he should have brought a bridle or a saddle. But that would definitely be pushing it. This was one of the first students that Guy had gotten in some time that didn't seem to have some sort of issue with authority or some complicated past.
ah, then someone was entering. Guy looked up, tucking the folder away and looking at his new student. "Welcome, missssster?" he eyed her, his brow crinkling, "Dev---you're going to have to give me a clue here," he folded his hands together and raised his brows as he looked at... it.
