Jason had grown used to being called by Bellefonte for a medical emergency. What he was less used of was to be told to make his way not to the school or any of the buildings it owned but to the fairground. As a local, and former student of the academy, he knew about the summer festival but it was an event he had not to care about for so long that he managed to somehow forget about it. He did not say anything when the school sent him there but he was wondering why. That is, until he saw the commotion around and understood.
How could someone really be in urgent medical help, he was not sure. He did hope it was no big accident that happened during a ride or a game. For once, he seriously hoped it was just a call in order to be more safe than sorry. That they figured he was closer than any Bellefonte nurses. Like someone who fainted because they stayed too long under the sun without properly hydrating themselves or not eating anything. Something simple, where he would only have to recommend lying down for a minute or two and drink something. They might even like it as a sugared beverage might be best. The best would be something more consistent but finding that around here would prove a lot harder than a bottle of water or soda.
He should have asked for more information as to why he was sent here. Finding someone in need of medical help, especially if it was just an insolation, would be hard to notice around here. There was no one who seemed to be waiting for him to arrive. Seeing someone making hand gestures, he hesitated one moment, wondering if they were doing it to get his attention or someone else’s. In doubt, and since it could be a real medical emergency, he joined that person. “I’m Doctor Campbell, I’ve been called for an emergency, would you know about it?”
