The day was oh, so sunny. She had been hearing about the festival since it had started, but she had not wanted to go - not until Karsen sent the text asking her. It had been fairly simple; 'do you want to go to the festival?'
How could she say no to that?
So she had said yes, and here she was now. Cosette was in a sun-dress, a muted yellow in color. It was strapless, and went to her knees. Her hair was tugged back, and she had stopped wearing her contacts to hide her mismatched eyes. She knew Karsen liked them.
She twirled once to take in the crowds of people all around them, grinning brightly as she clapped her hands, "I want to go on the ferris wheel first, Kiff!" She exclaimed brightly, grinning up at him.
She had taken her medicines - everything from the medicine for the schizophrenia - though they were working on having her diagnosis rechecked - to the anxiety. She was doing fairly well, though that could just be Karsen's affect on her.
"Or maybe... oh, I do not know what I want to do, Kiff! You pick first." She exclaimed, her cheeks flushed with her excitement. She had never felt at ease in large crowds, but Karsen was there - she trusted him, despite her heart telling her not too.

Karsen was really trying not to put his tech before Cosette, the only problem it was incredibly easy to sit her on his bed and then tinker away on his computer. It didn't help that she was relatively quiet. He didn't exactly know what she wanted until she either broke down and told him, or had some crazy idea she wanted him to go along with it. He thought it would be the first step into getting back to where they used to be. She seemed happy enough from the car to booth where he paid to get them the stupid little wristbands. HE didn't want to have to keep buying tickets if he could avoid it.
"We can do that." He said taking her hand into his, he just didn't want to get lose her in the crowd. It wouldn't do go for her to be stranded, it would be a bit to much for her considering she wasn't worse than him when i came to crowds. Than she said she couldn't decided and he laughed. He tried to remember exactly what rides they had there, it was one of those times he was glad for glasses.
"The giant tea cups? Unless you don't wanna get dizzy then there's this really big slide we can go down." He said smiling and walking towards where the slide and the tea cups were set up. They could also play games and eat but he figured she'd tell him if she was hungry.

She grinned at him as she shrugged her shoulders. "Teacups sound fun." She chimed, nodding her head brightly. She kept up with him, pressing against him when the crowd became too dense and people brushed roughly by.
When the crowd thinned out again, she relaxed, fingers curling through his. "Are all these people like us?" She inquired, tilting her head slightly. She was trying to ignore the thoughts - mainly by focusing on him.

"Teacups it is." Karsen said smiling and pulling her along with him. He made sure to keep a tight grip on her hand as they weaved in and out of the crowd. It wouldn't do good for him to lose her in the crowd, heaven knew what would happen should she go off alone. He didn't want to spend his day searching for his lost girlfriend.
"Most of them I think, but not all of them. The town does no about mutans as a whole but there are a few that don't know." He said as the came to the ride. He showed the operator their wristbands and then stepped into the giant cup thing after Cosette did. He was glad that they were the only ones in the teacups. They had came early so that they could at least get on some of the rides before they were overrunned with lines.
"This is gonna be fun, you know what to do right?" He asked smiling and putting his glasses in the pocket of his pants. It wouldn't go good for them to slip off and fall while he was spinning the cup. He put his hands on the wheel waiting for cosette to do the same.

She snorted as she followed him, stepping into a cup. "Yeah, I know what to do, gosh." She rolled her eyes as she sat down, legs crossing slightly.
She lifted her hands above her head to stretch, before the ride started. Cosette grinned and rested a dainty hand on each side of the wheel, dangerously close to overlapping Karsen's grasp - though that may be on purpose - as she began to turn.
