"You're Addison, right?" Erika asked as she leaned forward, looking at the brunette girl in front of her with a tilted head. She hadn't expected to find anyone else in the gym, but she supposed it could have been much worse.
She didn't know the girl as well as she knew most others, but she did know that the two of them shared a specific kind of passion: Namely art. And although Erika was rather fond of doing art all on her own, she could still admire other artists.
And from what she's heard, this girl had some hella talent.
"I'm Erika," she continued and gestured towards herself with a sheepish smile. Although, she figured the girl likely already knew. Most people did.

Addison hadn't expected anybody to speak to her as she was sweating like a pig, creating sweat stains the size of her t-shirt, but when Erika Bellefonte talks to you, you respond. At least she thought it was Erika. Didn't she have a twin? Wasn't she the bitch though?
This one didn't look or sound like one so it had to be Erika. Her introduction and the sheepish grin said it all as well.
She leaned forward on her bicycle and extended her hand before hesitating. "Yeah my hands are all sweaty. Can't exactly wipe...you know what hi. Insert hand shake here. Yeah, I'm Addison. Addie...if you're too lazy to sound out three syllable words."

Chuckling softly at the words the girl presented, Erika smiled warmly. "That's to be expected here," she said, looking about the gym. After all, everyone got sweaty from working out. That was sort of the point.
She'd never flaw the girl for that. Nor would she hold it against her.
She wouldn't push it though. She supposed shaking hands had been a bad move to begin with anyways.
"Though, with the warm weather outside, I hardly blame you for being in here." She looked back at the girl. After all, it was almost too warm to be outside right now.

"Yuh uh." Addison nodded at Erika's statement, even though it was definitely one of those things that could have been left unsaid. But it was nice of Erika to make her feel better. She didn't have to do that but it was definitely a nice gesture.
"Haha, yeah. The airconditioning here is pretty top notch. Even though it still doesn't hide my sweat stains." She looked down at her grey t-shirt that really did look like it had been soaked in water.
"I don't mean to be rude but I'm gonna continue with my cycle. I mean we can talk but if I stop, I won't start again and I still have like...half an hour into my routine." She chuckled before starting to cycle once more.
As she cycled, she remembered one of the things she first heard upon arrival into Kalispell and ultimately Bellefonte. "Oh hey, congratulations on getting hitched. Was it a lovely ceremony?"

"I don't think it hides anyone's," she laughed, head shaking. "And those who don't get them, clearly aren't doing a very good job," she added. After all, you couldn't work out without getting sweaty. It seemed rather pointless to work out if you weren't prepared to actually work for it.
She looked over at the girl and offered her a smile along with a quick nod. "Go ahead," she said, smiling. She took a few steps away and reached for her bag, pulling out her water bottle. She moved back towards the girl again as she unscrewed the cap and lifted it to her lips. She took a deep swig of the cool water.
She only stopped as the girl spoke again, lowering the bottle as her brows furrowed slightly. "Thank you," she spoke, though a smile quickly formed on her lips. A sheepish one at that. "Erm, well," she began, drawling slightly. "It happened in Vegas," she said, as if that was supposed to explain it all. It kind of did too.

"I better not be the only one who looks like a drowned rat because that would be so embarrassing." Addison made a face before agreeing to Erika's statement about them not doing it right.
Starting up her cycle again, Addison adjusted the pull of the pedals, making it slightly heavier than before and watched Erika as she drank from her bottle. It had become quite clear to Addison that there are a lot of things about a woman that had insane pull for her. Drinking from a bottle in a gym was one of them. It was kind of a weird turn on but there it was. She had to remind herself that the woman in question was spoken for. Not that it even mattered.
Blinking and tilting her head slightly at the reaction she got from the darker brunette, Addison wondered what brought that on. But the smile that came after somehow squelched the thought and she laughed lightly. Getting hitched in Vegas to her almost always meant shotgun wedding or drunken one night debauchery.
"I don't mean to gossip. It's just...not everyone my age are getting hitched just yet and here I am talking to one of the more influential students here and she's married and I figure, that's something to talk about. Unless you don't want to...?" She posed the last part as a question.

"No need to worry," Erika promised. "You look good," she added with a light smile. Though, she wondered why the girl even worried as much about it, but didn't bother asking. It was none of her business, and she wasn't about to make it so.
The conversation continued onward about her impromptu marriage and the light flush deepened slightly against Erika's olive features. "It's alright," she began, chuckling. "I don't really mind." After all, she figured she'd get plenty of these kind of questions now that the news had started spreading.
"If there's any questions you have, feel free to throw them at me."

Worrying about her looks was hardly the reason why she brought it up to begin with. But it did keep her in the conversation with Mrs. Conner. She supposed she did start to have an ulterior motive to keeping the fairer half of the Conner couple in conversation.
Perking up at the permission to probe, Addison nodded. "Was it just you and him? Was it like a spur of a moment kind of thing? Will you be doing another official invite only thing here or...?" She started shooting off before shaking her head. "Never invite me to throw anything at you." She joked with a small laugh.

Laughing at the row of questions, Erika's eyebrows shot up into an amused stare. "It was just the two of us -- well, if you don't count the priest, anyways," she chuckled. He'd been rather creepy, thinking about it. "It wasn't planned, no. In truth, we was supposed to wait until we graduated, but well, the alcohol didn't really help with that."
The last question though had Erika thinking. "Well... I mean, we haven't really talked about it, but it's likely. I don't think either of our families would like it awfully much if we didn't, and if that's what we have to do to please them..." she trailed off with a shrug. She wasn't about to worry about that right now though.
"We walked into one of the chapels out of curiosity. Neither of us had seen one from the inside and well..." she smiled.

"Alcohol rarely does." She nodded wistfully before smirking. She supposed that was just what people did in Vegas. She should avoid Vegas. No touring there.
"Well, you don't have to if you don't want to." Addison shrugged. She obviously had no idea how the rich blue blooded lived their lives. What their customs were and all that. If she had parents, she would just say eff em all. If she wanted to get married, she will.
Addison nodded at the 'reason' behind them being in the chapel in the first place. It was a good enough reason as any. Addison wasn't a religious person so she never thought to go in any kind of worshipping place either.
She wasn't about to go in one any time soon, that was for sure.
"That's something to tell the kids, huh." She chuckled.
