POWER INFO: :Hypnotism – Ellen has the ability to place hypnotic suggestions on people via visual, verbal, or tactile commands. Her ranges for each of these differ: for touch, she must be in contact with the target; for visual, she must be in their line of sight; for auditory, in normal speaking-level hearing distance. The power itself is a hypnotic suggestion, applied by using some sort of repetition. Whether visually (such as turning a ring or twisting her hair), verbally (using similar language over and over, or speaking in a particularly litling pattern of intonation), or by touch (tracing patterns over the skin). A repetition must be used in order to "captivate" her target. Commands are issued entirely verbally, and can either be suggestions where the meaning is inferred or direct commands. There are two ways in which Ellen can use this power:
The first way is Hypnosis in the traditional sense where Ellen places someone into a trace like state of extreme relaxation by lulling them into a drowsy or sleep-like trace accompanied by extreme suggestibility. However, she can only do this if the subject in question is willing to be hypnotized. This state is quite easy to break out of If she tried to do this against the subject will. It will have no effect whatsoever. Because the subject had consciously granted Ellen to access their subconscious, Ellen suggestion will have a stronger effect on the subject. However if Ellen tries to get the subject they wouldn’t normally do, they’ll instantly wake up with all suggestions having little to no effect.
The second (And Ellen’s favourite) way of using her power is via Convert hypnosis with is how Ellen communicates with another person’s unconscious mind without that person noticing. It often takes place in the course of a seemingly regular conversation but really is a deliberate attempt on Ellen’s part to change the person’s behaviour subconsciously so that her victim believes that they changed their mind of their own volition. When done right the person is unaware they’ve been hypnotized and or that anything strange had happened. For example if Ellen wanted to make someone forget something she’ll causally remark “Oh don’t worry about that, just forget about it, it’s not important” Even though it’s impossible for her to erase a memory, the victim might find it hard to recall it, for the length of conversation that particular memory.
Weakness/limits: She cannot hypnotize people over the phone or a video system. nor can a single hypnotic suggestion change a person’s core values (she cannot suggest a person hurt someone and have it succeed unless they are already thinking of it in the first place, for example). Much like modern day hypnotism, subtle effects can last for extended periods but are able to be ignored very easily by the target. True and immediate effects (unless it's forgetting something) last only for a short time, perhaps an hour. Coming out of the suggestion is immediate, though the subtle subconscious effects can last for a few hours. Anyone can fight a hypnotic suggestion if they know it's being placed on them. Those with mental abilities or a heightened awareness of mental effects being used on them can actually notice when her powers are being used actively. Power nullifiers, identifiers, trackers, and dampeners can easily shut her down, as can telepaths and empaths or anyone else with even minimal psychic shielding.A strong enough will (like those needed for most mental metas) can also break from her “spell” more easily, though only if they know what she can do. Additionally, side-effects to using her powers include mild trances, drowsiness, dissociation from self temporarily, and some psychic backlash of whatever suggestion she gave her target (forgetfulness, depression, suspicion, etc.) At any time Ellen can snap someone out of the trance (With the person in question having no memory of the experience, unless Ellen said otherwise) or The hypnotic suggestion lasts until a direct order is carried out. Eventually over time, if Ellen doesn't sustain them covert hypnosis suggestions fades away and loses their effect
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Ellen is a beautiful girl with grace, confidence, and sexuality oozing from her every pore (Or at least she thinks so. Woe to anyone who dares challenge her) She has soft, smooth china doll skin, silky white blond hair, and stunningly clear brown eyes. Every feature is rounded and gentle, and her body falls into the category of ‘hot damn’ on a scale of 1 – 10. (Again her opinion) She has no sign of ever needing to exert herself anywhere, though she certainly looks flexible enough. Her curves are entirely natural and womanly, though not to any degree where she could be considered overweight.
Despite never using more energy than necessary for anything, Ellen is very well-toned, mostly due to dancing and yoga. She does both of these very well and has the body to pull off any outfit she cares to don. She usually wears clothes that accent her figure well, but she can wear just about anything and make it look like it was tailored just for her. Anything that makes her look sexy is her favorite outfit, and her favorite colors are silver, red, and blue.
PERSONALITY : Beauty is only skin deep, as they say. While it may take more than a few layers to get past the pretty façade Ellen shows to the world, there is a dark and vicious woman beneath the surface. Miss Banks sees what other people can do for her and reacts to people accordingly. She is never outright hostile; that would give her away, wouldn’t it? Besides – so barbaric. She simply works people so well that they bring about their own downfall. She manipulates without regret, and can act as sweet and charming as a lady when the need calls for it. She can make friends with just about anyone, and she can just as easily break them. As confidence artists like to call it, she’s “in for the long con”. She just can't wait to watch her little soap operas unfold.
As much as she is manipulative, Ellen is selfish. She needs to be the center of attention, though she loves to view it as she’s the Puppet-Master – pull a few strings and watch the little dears dance.
But she does have her softer side, she just doesn't some it to many people, she loves her father with all her heart and would do just about anything for them. Even though she doesn't have “Friends” in the normal sense of the word she’s very protective of the people she does like
Ellen thinks that he is superior she is better and smarter than everyone else and every thing in her world has to be just so. She won't accept anything less then perfect. She has a very high standard, thanks to being spoiled by her parents, she expects nothing but the best which is why she pushes herself to the best she in any thing she does to an almost obsessive degree. She needs to be the best at every she does. and she won't accept second rate.
She has very low opinion of everyone else and her downfall usually comes when people exceeds her expectation. If there's one thing that Ellen hates is people stupidity and people who are too moronic to follow her orders and do what she wants. She always has to get her way and when she doesn't she tends to become enraged and throw temper tantrums.

Ellen Banks was born to her mother and father in New York “Big-Phil” Banks is a lawyer working for several international law agencies, . Una Banks was a chef from Illinois. New York was where Ellen and her younger brother were born, and they lived there for quite some time before Una’s family took a trip and got stranded for a couple days during a storm in a small town called P They loved the place so much that they convinced their daughter and son to move there so that they would be closer when the pair moved the next spring.
When the family visited Kallispell, Montana a few months later, Ellen grew enamored with the area, and practically begged her parents to move there , Being that the girl was only nine and they had no plans of living there permanently, her parents refused. They did, however, soften the blow by visiting Montana every summer from then on, as the heat was much more tolerable than in their year-round home.
For all of her life, Ellen has been a prefect little angel according to her parents. She was raised like a princess and has been treated with respect since birth, and people overlooked her mistreatment of her brother since... well, kids will be kids. About the time that she turned seven or so, she realized that she could get away with so much if she just made other people do it for her. She's managed to hide her manipulative nature most of the time but when she couldn't resist being naughty, her parents would punish her to the best of their abilities, but that did little to slate Ellen's growing thrill of being bad.
When her powers manifested, Ellen was overjoyed. She could now make people do just about anything that she wanted, and no one would know the difference. Even though her abilities were quite minor it wasn’t long before someone arrived on the banks family doorstep to tell them about someplace called the Bellefonte Academy Of course Ellen was over joyed despite the fact she was moving away. Why wouldn't she? She was finally moving to her dream town!

Despite her commitment to the role many of the staff don’t buy the sweet and innocent act.
