Olivia,
I don't think I got the chance to quite tell you before I left, but I've been selected for a scholarship that will let me have a road trip visiting several scenic locations throughout the United States! Of course I had to accept the position, though this means that, unfortunately, I won't be around for around the month or June or so. I was hoping that we could still keep in touch while I was gone, if that's quite alright with you. I'll be visiting quite a few places, so it'll be most interesting.
I'd also love to hear about anything going on around the school that I'm missing in the meanwhile. I know there were events last summer that were quite interesting. You'll definitely have to let me know how things are going with you, personally, as well. I'm really looking forward to this, but I also wanted to make sure that my friends knew about it.
I'll have plenty of pictures to show you when I come back!

Haha wow you're formal in email!
Hmph. You didn't tell me you were going anywhere. Just kidding. Relax and have fun. Make sure to stock up on those experiences so you can tell me all about them as I'm stuck in this school with nothing whatsoever to do. I doubt, with my more timid personality that I'll actually be involved. That being said, I might end up blossoming and you won't even recognize me when you come back. XD
Again, kidding. There's no way in hell that would ever happen anywhere but in a book. Take lots of pictures for me, scholarship girl!
See you in July, smarty-pants.
Your friend, Olivia (or Liv. At this point, you're allowed to call me by a nickname if it suits. I don't really care either way haha.)
Just tag me in a thread if you think our characters might get up to something interesting. I always love threads. I will get to writing on the thread. But I won't if you never tag me!

I don't mean to be formal, I was just nervous. You know how I am: it's the British in me. everyone at my old schools used to tease me for using proper grammar and spelling things the wrong way and all that.
I really would have told you, but I didn't really have much notice. Apparently someone had canceled and a spot opened up. They were willing to include me because of the show, figuring that I could benefit from it. I certainly couldn't pass up the trip. I really did email you as quickly as I could, promise.
I'll certainly have lots of pictures. I've already gotten over two hundred and I've only been gone a week! I'll send you some along the way.
Oh, um, also, I kind of... never mind. I'll tell you about it when I get back.
My hair's getting longer too! I think i mentioned that I had chopped it off when I found out about my powers last year. It's starting to curl and should be almost where it was when I come back.

As I said, I was joking. I understand not having time. I know you would've told me if you'd had time.
Two HUNDRED? That's a big number shutterbug. Better be ready to share. XD I look forward to seeing them. It's one way I'll be able to share in your experience after all.
Wait...what? What were you going to tell me? Aw man Zoe I'm patient but that's just not playing fair haha.
Well I'll still recognize you even with long hair...maybe.
Have fun Zoe! I'll be waiting to hear all about it!

Well, that's just the first few. I'll probably have over a thousand before things are all over. I've already doubled that number, mostly taking shots of the scenery. nothing too exciting. I have made a friend though, and she's in a few.
I'll... I'll tell you when I get back, honest. And I promise that you'll still recognize me. If nothing else, you'll be able to tell because I'll have a camera. Oh! And I've freckled quite a lot now. I do that when I get sun. No tan or sunburn, just lots and lots of freckles. I don't particularly like it, but it does make me quite noticeable.
It has been lots of fun though. And very instructive, which is the point after all. I think I've really gotten better as a photographer. Everyone's just so good! Sometimes i think they just let me on because the school feels sorry for me or something. But I keep trying, so that has to count for something, right?

Sigh. I guess I have no choice but to wait and see what you're going to say, huh? Haha and freckles huh? They aren't so bad. I used to want freckles myself because I thought they looked cute.
Cut it out Zoe. Far more people feel sorry for you in your own mind than in actual real life. You have actual talent so hurry up and own up to it, friend.
Look forward to seeing you and your new tan XD

It's only a few weeks; I should be back soon. I've been so distracted with everyone. And you would not believe San Francisco! I almost want to move out here! It's just... amazing. The wine is quite good as well.
But I'll be there in just a few weeks and we can talk about everything then. We'll make a night of it, with pajamas and movies and so forth.
I really don't tan: I freckle, and it makes me look like some sort of jungle animal and it's just awful, but you'll see it firsthand.
