Olivia still couldn't believe it had been ten years. She STILL didn't have her PhD. She was still in school to work towards her dream. Not that it was a bad thing necessarily, but it was a lot of work.
"Hmm...that isn't quite right." She jotted down some things in her notebook with a sigh. Just because she didn't have a PhD didn't mean she wasn't still researching powers. She was planning on being a power specialist so she kind of had to do something. Her cell phone rang and she clumsily fished it out of her black leather purse.
"Yeah? No no no I can't come in. I told you that. No it's not that. I'm at a class reunion. I booked the days off. Check the calendar if you don't believe me. Okay. Thanks for understanding. See you when I get back. Bye. Yeah. See you then." She massaged her forehead with a sigh, shaking her head.
"They don't seem to understand. This class reunion isn't just a reunion. It's positively INTEGRAL to my research."
