Frank surveyed the deck that she and Erika had commandeered for the soon to happen party. It still looked more or less like the deck of a cruise ship: same wood floor, same random nautical adornments like life rings and junk, same view of the sea with that whole lapping wave sound. But it had also been radically transformed. A pair of tables had been laid out with various goodies, mostly of a sweet nature. A bowl of punch dominated most of one, and you didn't have to take a drink of it to realize that it was probably spiked. The next one contained all sorts of delicacies that had clearly been liberated from the ship's kitchens, mostly involving far too much sugar and icing. Just a short distance from the food tables stood a little DJ section, complete with massive sound system, turntables, and various equipment. It already played dance music throughout the deck, making certain that nothing was silent. A few other decorations hung here and there, including streams near various outcroppings and various sparkling bits tied about the aforementioned nautical adornments.
Amid all this stood Frank. She wore a breezy, bright green dress and several dangling bits of jewelry. A pair of matching brilliant green sandals adorned her feet, though it was a little hard to see those, as Frank kept darting about, checking things and just generally moving.
"See? I told you it would look awesome!' she crowed, thrusting a fist into the air. "Now we just gotta hope that people show up, 'cuz a party without people just be boring!" she nodded and began moving about. There were already a few people sort of milling about, cautiously approaching the party like nervous animals approaching free food. nobody important enough to mention, or at least, nobody that Frank noticed. Surely there had to be a few people there who were worth paying attention to, right?
