That was just great. Franck did his best to reassure those around that it was not as bad as it looked like. But he was bleeding, so of course people worried. The one who made him fall badly on the pavement, causing his arm to bleed like that even insisted on helping him to the nurse’s office. It was not necessary. He could walk without any problem. Well, his knees were also hurting a little but that was only because he fell on them. The guy was playing... Franck supposed it was football or something, with a friend in the parking lot and accidentally tackled Franck. He only had the time to lift his arm so his face wouldn’t hit the ground. His knees and arm got most of the shock.
He bet they were bruised. He was certain of it as it just hurt a little too much with every move he made, the fabric brushing against his skin. He convinced the guy that he’d be fine to go there on his own. He held his arm close to his chest and left, wishing only that people wouldn’t be staring so much. It was just an accident. And he was sure that other than cleaning the wound and putting some gauze on it, there was nothing else to do. Still, it would be best to do it, because going in the bus like this would sure attract the attention on him.
He lifted his sleeve and also his pants’ legs so that they could take care of his bruises. Like he said, just some cleaning and gauze. There was nothing else to do. It was not too deep. But Franck noticed some blood on his sleeve. He would have to put his blazer on so people wouldn’t see that. He didn’t need more people worried.
