Looking down to her phone, Erika's brows furrowed slightly. The display showed a picture of three kids, Sophie, seven years old, Rory and Isaac, the twins, age four. She felt uneasy about leaving them alone in the care of Drew's parents for an entire weekend, but she supposed this could be considered as their weekend off. Of course, they could have brought the children with them to Montana, as opposed to leaving them in Los Angeles with their grand parents, but after some discussing back and forth, they'd agreed this was for the best.
Pulling her coat off, Erika hung it onto the rack and finally, turned her gaze away from her phone, her brown eyes slowly moving over the reception area. Despite technically owning the academy, though leaving it in the care of the council, Erika hadn't spent nearly as much time back in Kalispell as she perhaps should have.
Having three children, being married and having a career as a fashion designer kept her busy and mostly tied down in Los Angeles - save for a business trip or two every now and then. Though, she had very few complaints. The brunette loved the way her life had turned out.
Turning smirk in her husband's direction, Erika chuckled. "Last chance to sneak off to the locker rooms," she winked at him. Being back here made so many memories come flooding back - most of which was either good, or humorous in some way or another. All in all, Erika was happy about the way her life had panned out. She and Drew had gotten married shortly after graduation and moved to Los Angeles. A few years later, they'd gotten their first child, Sophie, and then the twins came a few years after. All the while raising their three kids, they'd marched straight forward into their careers, and even though they didn't have nearly as much time for each other as Erika would have preferred, she loved her life - even if being away from the kids worried her.
