Jayling enter the arena the same way she rolled out of bed each morning, ready to fight. Although you couldn't tell by the way she calmly stood across from her opponent but she was excited. It was always exciting right before a fight, the way her heart started beating and her hands wanted to shake it was definitely worth it. It didn't matter that she rather liked Selina Taylor , she was cute and incredibly talented. She had already learned what the girl's power was and Jaylin wasn't quiet about hers.
"You know you're gonna lose right." She said throwing the older girl a smirk. Yeah it was always fun to bait the enemy. Even if she knew it was all friendly and it wouldn't matter if she won or lost, she still couldn't help her mouth. It was hard to ever control what Jaylin said because of the fact she did say what she felt like it, when she felt like it.

Selina laughed at Jaylin’s taunt, but merely nodded to the girl in response. She usually bowed to her opponents before a fight, but since this was outside the dojo, she figured a nod of respect worked just as well. The young girl had an incredibly interesting power and Selina had been itching to test herself against her for quite some time. As far as the physicality of the fight went, Selina wasn’t sure how much Jaylin’s power allowed her to pick up on, so she wasn’t honestly sure if she’d be able to match the girl physically, which was exciting.
For Selina, this was going to be a mostly mental battle, and she was looking forward to it. Selina also wasn’t one for talking much, as she saved her focus and her breath for other things. She simply studied the girl in front of her and smiled. "Ready when you are."

Jaylin was the type of person to be in the arena as much as she could, like she loved the whole physicality of it all. As cliched as it was, Jaylin was a very physical person. Why deal with emotions when you had a range of actions that could tell people exactly how you felt. She was a firm believer that actions spoke louder than words, which was probably why she didn't have any friends. He man instinct was to fight people she thought were cool and could keep up with her.
"Okay then, lets see what you got" She quickly deliver to punches, it wasn't to start the fight or anything but to gauge her reaction time. If she had slower reflexes Jayling could do more damage faster, if she had good reflexes Jaylin was going to have to do some complicated moves. She didn't exactly know what types of fighting the girl knew but she'd be willing to bet it was a few.
