Erin had told Quinn before that she wanted to go to the movies with the boy, but with how what he last said to her last time had upset her, she changed the plan around. They were still going to go to the movies, but now it was going to be on the school grounds instead of off campus. she blamed him for it all, since he had a habit of still hurting her feelings. They had known one another for months and he still was not kind to her. She gave him space after their last little chat and hoped that her gift along with the gifts she had given him and Pips would be enough to have changed his attitude towards her.

At least, she hoped so. At any rate, she had already set up a little movie theater in a section of the basement. One of the places that was especially dark and creepy, but she easily cleaned it up and set up her projector and computer. She even brought two bean bag chairs and some snack down with her so they would not have to sit on the cold basement floor. Why did she pick the basement of all places? Well, she figured that if they were in a location where there was basically no people down there unless they were packing stuff away in storage or doing laundry, then Quinn would maybe be himself.

He had been uptight in his room; worried about his roommate, and Erin forgot how he was in her room but she didn't want to take the risk. All other location were off because there would be other people there. As for going down to town, well she didn't want him to end up upsetting her to the point that she used her power in public. So this was the safest idea. She had already messaged him several times to meet her down in the basement and to bring Pips if he liked. She sent another just to be sure that he was on his way.

Quinn never intended for what he said to insult the girl but it was true that the only girl who showed an interest on him happened to be a lesbian and that could not be a right girl for him. Since he was a guy and all. He didn’t mean to say she was a bad person or mock her homosexuality but a straight guy might want to attract a straight girl. Then again, other than this creepy girl Lucy, no one ever took an interest in him and he knew it was more for fun than for him so she didn’t even count. It was sort of depressing and a subject he’d rather not talk so maybe he had been a little snappy on her when they talked of this.

Sadly for Erin, this was his attitude. Quinn was hard to tame. Not like a lion trapped in a cage and restless of this. More like a very nervous and suspicious animal ready to run at the first occasion should you approach your hand too quickly of them. Sure, the fact she was not giving up on him all this time, even bringing him gifts, helped but he was still ready to go away at the first occasion. Going away being more like chasing her away. It seemed easier on the boy when he could blame the other for leaving, even when he was responsible.

He had grown accustomed to the new camera she offered him, taking quite a few pictures with it. He liked it, very much, more than he could possibly tell the girl. She could not have given him a better gift. He sent her some of the pictures he took of Pips with his gift. He even sent her the one he took with her also saying that the little smile she had made her look slightly devilish, unless it was the fact she had a horned ferret in her hands while smiling. Other than that, his conversations with Erin since then had been kept to a minimum. Until she asked him to come down in the basement.

What a peculiar place to meet him, the basement! She wanted to talk to him while doing laundry or what? No need to say he was puzzled. She was insisting however so he gave up. The girl knew where he lived. And she showed she was not against sneaking in to make him pay. He was on his way down when he got another text. He sighed at her impatience. He didn’t have much patience himself but she was just as bad. Luckily for Erin he started to get used to her strange way of writing so he got what she meant at the end of it.

He did not answer as he was already climbing down the stairs. Instead, he went into the basement. “I’m right on time I’ll have you know. In fact, I still have three minutes left for the time you told me to come. What’s the emergency?” he let out as he entered. He didn’t bother to look where she was as he said it but now he was trying to find her because she was not near the washing machines.

Erin loved the pictured that Quinn ended up sending her, but it only made her feel a little better after he was a jerk to her. Not her fault that she liked girls and that he didn't want to get his gender changed to be a girl. He probably make a good girl, one of the sassy ones since he always seemed to have an attitude. She shrugged off his little devil comment and had told him that it was the side that came out when she was upset. So he better watch it.

After that, she did leave him alone for the most part, trying to not let that little devil side come out and get revenge for Quinn upsetting her again. The basement was indeed odd, but again she had picked it all for a reason. Now she just had to wait for Quinn to get there. Which felt like he was taking forever and that was why she texted him and was telling him to hurry up. She could see that her message was read and so when he did not respond after a while she was about to send him another text. She stopped mid text however when she heard his voice and almost vanished but managed to keep control over herself when she had just been startled.

"Yeah, but I have been down here way before that to get everything set up so it feels like I have waited longer." Erin said as she went over to him. She was already reaching out to take a hold of his hand so she could pull him over to the area in the basement where she had the beanbags, snack, and her own little projector set up. She would let go of his hand when they would get over to the smart and point at the set up. "Remember that going to the movies plan I said you had to do to pay me back and to end this life debt? This is it." Erin said as she looked at her hard work and then to Quinn.

She was then watching, waiting, and listening to what he was going to have to say about this kind of plan for the two of them. It was not romantic, right? She hoped he didn’t say anything about it being too romantic. They were just friends and she was still pretty sure that she just liked girls because they were just better then guys.

Quinn started to know Erin’s evil side. It certainly came at him when she chose to hack his computer. And then he upset her. He did hope she could just shrug it off. He had no problem with her being a lesbian. It was not like he had grown a crush on her. She could love anyone she wanted. In fact, he’d prefer if she loved someone else than him. She would totally keep pushing him around otherwise. Kind of like she did now. But probably with a whip too. That would be his new greatest fear: seeing Erin with a whip.

He spotted her at last, the sound of her voice helping, and the fact she walked towards him. “Which is probably when I should ask you why you asked me to meet you in the basement?” Quinn replied after she claimed being here for a while so that everything was set in place. What everything? If she wanted to play a game of Dungeons & Dragons or conjure up a demon, they could have done it on his room, or hers. He didn’t care enough about his roommates to worry what they may think and there really was only one who could be a pain about it.

She grabbed his hand. He resisted a little at first but followed her after a time. Obviously, she wanted to show him. And then she went on about the movie plan they had. He looked at what she did. All for him? He could not believe there was a projector just sitting here like that for students to use, so she did. He was actually shocked that someone could do that. He stared at her, ready to let some cynical comment out on how she didn’t like the movies playing in theatre right now but he didn’t say anything as he looked at her face. She obviously worked to get this all done. He then felt like asking if she really set this all up on her own but that too got caught up in his throat. “And what are we watching?” Was all he could say before walking to the bean bags and looking at the snacks she gathered for them. They could have done this in their room. She chose to do it like that. He was actually impressed. That didn’t mean he liked her.

"It a place where we don't really have to worry about anyone bothering us and you’re saying something about your roommate. Plus its super dark down here once the lights are out and it makes it easier to see the screen." Erin answered as she was moving right along. She had one of those mini projectors, the ones that looked like it was just some external hard-drive, and it was hell of expensive. Then again, most of the things that Erin owned were very expensive and top of the line.

Thank you connections still back and Japan. She could not function with some of the behind technology the USA had. They didn't even have fiber optic internet in a lot of places around the USA cities, it was crazy. She could feel him resisting as she tugged him along, but that just made her hold his hand tighter and pull him along that much more. He wanted to be stubborn; well she was going to be just as stubborn as him. One of them was going to end up losing this battle and Erin planned on it being Quinn who lost. She waited for his response now that he saw everything that she had all set up.

Yet, she ended up just getting a question which had her letting out a deep sigh but it was a fair question. "That is up to you. Any movie that you want to see and I can pull it up. So long as they made it into a digital form or at least recorded it onto a digital form, I can get it, and we can watch it." Erin said, confident in herself. She had several sites already open on her computer that she could pull movies from for them to watch. It was all in the power of Quinn and this way he could not say that there was nothing showing that he wanted to see.

"Way better than being stuck with just picking movies in the theaters." Erin added as she moved over to plop down on one of the bean bag chairs. She was already reaching to pop open a bag of chips, fully ready to get this whole movie plan underway. He did owe her so there was no way he could say no, plus she figured since this would be the last thing he needed to do for her to stop thinking she owed him a life debt, Quinn should have been all for it.

He supposed it made sense. If she wanted to make a home theatre somewhere in the school, it might be best to pick a room without windows. “We sure won’t have to worry about that, no one but you could think of making a theatre here,” he let out. He still didn't really get why they had to do it like that but he had trouble understanding most people and Erin was even harder to get. It might be best not trying to understand her motives. He was just glad this would allow him not to deal with Jack. He was too loud and not likely to get the hint he was not invited.

“You never do anything small do you?” Quinn said after he took a good look of everything and figured he could look back at his... friend? She kept saying she was his friend. And, in the end, she was the closest to a friend he had in this place. He simply could not bring himself to call her that in return. It was easier to keep doing this assuming this was nothing and could end just as easily as it started.

She claimed they could watch anything, as long as there was a digital version. “Really, anything? You’re not even asking me to avoid one style or another, you just want me to pick something?” With all the movies there happened to be in the world, it was hard to make a choice when the decision was his and he had little restrictions. A few titles came to his mind but before he could focus on them to consider them they were already replaced by others. He was kind of curious just how good her attire was, if it was like in a real movie theatre in terms of image and sound. It had him consider taking something a little more interesting than a mere drama with little effects to it.

“I guess...” he mumbled. His main issue with movie theatres had been that his choice of movies never matched that of his cousins and democracy being a thing around here, his voice had little weight against three. He won once, because his aunt felt sorry and thought he could choose. They didn’t want it so he ended up seeing it with her. She should have left him look at it on his own. He wouldn’t have felt this pathetic. “And it saves you the burden of having someone talking next to you during the whole movie. Or kicking your seat.”

"Thanks, I am Leet after all, so it should be expected." Erin said, taking his words as a complement which boosted her enjoy. She even did a little hair flip before tucking some of her hair behind her ear as she smile in a proud manner. Ah, when her ego was stroked she felt like a totally badass; even if Quinn didn't mean it to do that. Hell, Quinn probably meant it as some underhand comment since it was him but Erin was not going to think like that. Nope, she was giving Quinn the benefit of the doubt and a chance to not be a totally jerk and make her wreck something of his.

"Hmm? This is small. Not like I bought us Movie Theater catering or got some of those chairs, but can you imagine if I did? Hell, the ladies would want me alone for how I pamper them." Erin said her ego still up high so she was feeling all sorts of bold. If only all the ladies loved her, that would be the day. They would be spoiled, probably more than Quinn since they would be more than just her friends...or something. She shook her head to keep herself from thinking too much about the ladies wanting her and her wanting them.

"Nope. We made a deal that this would be the last thing you had to do with me for you debt to be paid. So it has to be all your choice no matter if I like it or not for it to count." Erin assured him. It was to settle the debt that she owed him, so it would only count if it was a movie of his choice no matter if she hated it. "Just...be a pal and not make me watch a movie about two guys having sex. I can barely handle watching a guy having sex with a girl BUT, again your choice." Erin added after a moment, not wanting to suffer too badly.

She already turned her computer to face him so he could type in whatever it was he wanted to see and would likely find it. Erin was already starting to munch on chips as Quinn spoke up about not having to worry about people chatting or kicking your seat. "So true. So I would say that this is a great deal for you. Worthy of a debt ender...or whatever it’s called." Erin spoke up before tossing some more chips into her mouth.

She didn’t take it as an insult and it was a good thing because it was not meant as one. He knew his words apparently came out wrong sometimes but Erin either ignored it or had grown used to him by now so she knew he was just like that. It was not that bad of a place. He just hoped it was far enough for them not to hear people doing the laundry should any choose to do that while they were down. Whatever they may think of them watching a movie here, he could not care less. First of all, she was gay and besides, he was way too insignificant for them to really care what he was doing. Somehow, despite the fact she claimed to be ‘leet’, he doubted they cared what she was doing either.

To him, this was big. His home theatre was a regular-sized flat screen television back at his aunt’s, with regular sound and a bunch of cousins who chose what to listen to on it. The closest to a private television he had was his laptop and it was one that belonged to his cousin James after he got a new one. He understood they were tight on their budget and it was working fine but he sometimes wished he had more things that had not previously belonged to someone else. Erin however claimed that this was small. He said nothing to her comment about the ladies wanting her if she went for the whole thing. He was amused though by her attitude. She so rarely was this bold, at least not in person.

His expression darkened however as she went on. She probably did not mean it to upset him but that was still what happened. Last thing needed for her debt to be paid... that sounded so much like once it was done, they’d be on their way. Sure, he wanted that since the beginning but being told so bluntly, and with a smile, that this would clear whatever kept her around him was upsetting. She just reminded him why he was not dealing with people. She was going to leave him alone after this, for good, like that never mattered. Why should he care about picking a movie then? He kept telling her she had no debt to pay, if she wanted this to be the end, they didn’t have to go through that at all.

“Why would I want to watch two guys having sex?” He was a little more aggressive then he intended but she upset him and it was coming off like this. She wasn’t seriously thinking he was gay, was she? He was not in the mod to watch anything anymore, especially after she reiterated this was a debt-ender deal. He didn’t want to pick something and only stared at her computer with a stern expression on his face. What was the point, really, to offer him something like that if it was to go away? She didn’t need to play one last time with him if it was just to stab him in the back later.

Erin liked to think that she was getting used to Quinn, or at least on some levels. It was still a bit of a challenge to deal with his cold mood and general attitude overall but at least his words were not ripping holes into. They never really did, if anything his words just generally pissed her off and she would get even with him in her own kind of way. Perhaps he was starting to learn to be more careful with his words, or perhaps because of how their last meeting ended she was not going to tolerate any cruel or hurtful words.

She didn't know, she was not really thinking about it too much; her mind was a bit busy day dreaming about the woman she was talking about. Erin also didn't know what her words hurt Quinn; in fact she figured he would have been happy about all of this. That he would be rid of her and would not have to deal with her bothering him. It was not like she didn't want to deal with him anymore, she did think of him as sort of her friend. She just thought he didn't want her around and didn't want to be friends with someone that hated her.

That seemed stupid and she had talked to her dad about it and he said that she didn't have to try to be friends with everyone because some people just were not going to like you. She was assuming Quinn was one of those people, so why was he making that face now? Erin noticed it out of the corner of her eye and the fact that he was not picking a movie still. "Well...I don’t' know. You don't really give off the gay vibe but you don't seem to like anyone so I'm not sure what you like." Erin admitted.

She then gave her a computer a nudge towards him so he would get on the whole picking a movie things. "Come one, why are you hesitating to pick a movie? Overwhelmed by all the choice?" Erin asked as she started to chuckle a little. Erin could understand him not knowing what to go for with having all the choice and option so she was not going to rush him but it was not like they had forever. He was going to have to pick a movie at some point.

It was hard not to come off as cold and rude when most of his interactions in the past had been like that. He could barely remember the days he was a normal kid anymore. Anything before his mother’s death seemed like something that happened to someone else or a vague memory of a movie he had seen a long time ago. Since then, he had been a moody kid, quiet and socially awkward. It was hard to be all nice and funny when that was far from who he was. He was no actor, he could not play a role like that. Besides, she was in no place to talk. She was bold only when she was talking to someone through a computer screen. He just had to walk to her with a cold stare and she wouldn’t sound so cocky. Which was rather funny to Quinn as he never thought he could come off as intimidating.

He should be glad this would be all over. She was like an annoying buzzing at his ears but he had grown used to it. Like a pain you carry around all the time. It just felt weird when it was gone, even though you might have wished it. He shouldn’t complain that she wanted to be off. He could hate her more, because she was the one who left as opposed to him who pushed her away. But that was just it. In the end, he started not to wish for her to leave. He was hoping she’d stick around, prove him wrong. Apparently not. And he was pissed about it.

The fact she could think he was gay actually shocked him. He had no idea he was sending any gay vibe and she said he did not really so why think that? Because he never said he had a crush on a girl in particular? Ridiculous. “I want to see penises as much as you do,” he assured her. He didn’t think he was homophobic, he was spending time with Erin after all, but he was grossed out at the thought people may think he was gay.

She then pushed him again to pick a movie. She was still not seeing how upset he was. She was even laughing! Well, if she wanted them to be done, they’ll be done. “Can it get some old movies?” he asked her as he typed ‘rear window’. It was a very old movie but they loved to remaster old movies so a new generation could see them and Hitchcock was a big enough director for his movies to get that kind of treatment. How many movies picked up on that one, a guy certain he witnessed a murder through the lens of his camera? Yes, a camera. Now you knew why Quinn was interested.

Erin really was oblivious to the fact that Quinn was upset with her for talking about how he would be free of her. Again, she was only saying it because she thought it was what the other guy wanted because it was not what she wanted. While he was stupid, a jerk, and often mean to her; he was still her first friend. Sure their friendship had been forced out of the sake that he saved her life, but he had saved her life. That had to mean that he at least cared enough somewhere deep down in that cold demeanor of his.

She was not catching on to any possible hints that he did still want her to bother him, so she just remained oblivious to it all. "So not at all then, right?" Erin asked but it was more of something like a joke. At least she was trying to joke with him. Hey, he was one of those art types with how he liked photos so she just assumed that he would have an appreciation for both males and females bodies. It was less that she thought he could be gay and more of just that she thought that maybe he would be okay with seeing such a thing.

At his question on old movies Erin gave a nod. "If they made a digital version of it, then it should pop up." Erin said as she moved around a little on her beanbag chair as she munched away on her chips. He would most certainty find the movie he was looking for, several version of it due to there being different translations of it. She then started to hum a song she knew from back when she lived in Japan before she suddenly stopped and looked at Quinn. That thought she had earlier crossed her mind as she looked at Quinn. Naaaah, no way....right? Erin thought to herself.

She didn’t seem to get it. Of course she didn’t, she must already be through with him and was doing that only so she could finally be free of his gloomy presence! Why did he even bother with people? They always ended up playing nasty tricks like that the moment you started to care. He didn't get how he could have thought she would be any different. She had been rather clingy. And she offered him a camera. Not a cheap one either. All this led him to believe she intended to stick around a little. Guess he was wrong. Again.

“No, not at all,” he replied, getting pissed by the fact she may think he was gay as well as everything else going on. He never thought about taking nude shots. If asked, he would certainly not know what he would do if faced to the fact he had to take nude shots. Even of girls. But this was not likely to happen yet. That would be creepy, considering their age. And probably illegal too. But, for now, it was clear he wanted to see no penises, not even in an artistic way. Wouldn’t that be ironic though if his first breasts he would get to see happened to be because of a photoshoot? He’d rather not think about that.

The movie did pop up. As expected, no way they would have left one of Hitchcock’s finest work disappear from this world. There were even several, since they worked on it more than once and there were many translations of it. He clicked on one of them then turned the computer for Erin to do her thing. It was her domain, the computer, he would let her care about this. As for him, Quinn sank in the beanbag as much as he could without falling over and crossed his arms. Let this farce be over. With a bit of luck, the movie would be too interesting for him to care about who he was sharing it with.

"Now I know for sure then." Erin said as she gave a nod. She was about to say that she was also not a fan of males that way but there was a moment of hesitation there. Why was she hesitating? Oh no, this was certainly a problem. She should not have been hesitating or even allowing such a thought to cross her mind. Now she had to do something to be sure, and since Quinn was the only person her; he was going to have to be the one. The one that she was going to have to do a quick test on, but first she knew she needed to get the movie together and running.

She waited for him to pick out the film, moving to reach her computer when he turned it to face her as she looked at his selection. It was an older film, but Erin had actually seen it in one of her classes...or was that for something else? Regardless she knew of the movie and knew that other than the slow pacing at time it was not going to be that bad of a movie to watch. "Not a bad choice." Erin said as she hit play on the film then dimmed her skin. It would only take a few second before the film would start to be displayed on the wall thanks to the projector. Erin adjusted the volume just right before she stood up.

"I'll be right back, don't pause the movie." Erin said as she didn't wait to long before she scuttled off into the darkness, only to end up using her power and turn right back around and approach Quinn. Alright, have to do this quick. Erin thought to herself as she took a deep breath. Quinn would not be able to see or hear her so long as she was using her power, but as soon as she would touch him, she would be seen. So Erin had to make the contact quick and then quickly use her power which was easy enough. After taking a deep breath she quickly leaned in to give Quinn a kiss on his lips, appearing for just a second and vanishing a second after she pulled back and ran off.

All before she would reappear walking back in as if nothing had happened and as far as Quinn was concerned, nothing did. "Sorry, had to check my phone and oddly I was not getting any bars don here." Erin made up her lie with ease as she sat down and went back to eating her chips.

Now Quinn couldn’t stop giving Erin some side glances. She thought he was gay. She actually thought he was gay. Damn. He shouldn’t care since she obviously was not interested in him considering she was gay herself but that didn't make it any less shocking. He had no problem with homosexuality. As long as no thought he was homosexual. Not that he wanted to talk about how much he liked girls and their breasts and everything else. Even to her, who would understand what he may find so attractive in those. He preferred not to talk of this. At all.

Quinn had never managed to fully watch that movie. He heard of it, saw several references to it, knew the plot and happened once to fall on it on television on a channel that played really old movies. But he never could watch it all. Still, he thought it was a nice choice and he didn’t think she could say much against it. A classic, made by the master of suspense himself, Alfred Hitchcock. If she argued with it, she was the one who knew nothing.

She did not argue. “Thanks,” he sort of grumbled in return. He had no intention to pause the movie anyway as he watched her stand up. He focused on the movie, looking own only to pick some of the snacks she got for them. He left the chips for her, went for the twizzlers. He put one in his mouth, unaware that Erin was actually still right here, looking at him. Last time, he went paranoid about hearing or feeling her. This time, he had absolutely no idea. He swallowed the licorice when he felt something on his lips. Like something being pressed. He froze and suddenly he saw Erin materialize but as the feeling went away, so did she. Did she just see her kissing him? What the hell?!

He stared at her as she returned, claiming she had to check her phone. “What was that?” he asked. Wasn’t she lesbian? What was she doing, kissing people like this.? And with her power on, no less! “Did you just kiss me?”

There was a grumble thanks, but Erin choose to ignore the fact that it was grumbled out instead of a normal or even happy thanks. Jezz, this guy was so hard to please even when he was getting everything he wanted and had all the power. Erin really didn't understand it and knew that she personally would have loved to been spoiled and treated like this. Perhaps it was just a guy thing that he didn't like a girl being nice to him or something.

Tim seemed to always be on guard about that sort of thing, bringing up the fact that he had a girlfriend. Maybe he just did it to rub it in because Erin honestly saw no other reason for it. She had her plan to enact upon so those thoughts were out the window for the time being. Erin was quick about it, making sure everything happened quick, but long enough for her to get a good reading about the situation. She even thought she had been smooth about it all but there Quinn was asking question. Time to show off them acting skills. Erin thought to herself as she gave Quinn a look like he was crazy.

"What was what?" Erin asked, looking like she was actually very much confused. She looked at the movie and then back to him, raising a brow and just adding to the look she was giving him. Now it went from 'you’re crazy' to a 'do you need help' look. "Pfffft, no. Why would I do that? I like girls remember? And unless you recently got a sex change, I'm pretty sure you are not a girl." Erin pointed out as she shook her head and picked up her chips. She went at eating them like everything was normal and for her it was. She done what she needed to do and yet again she was pretty sure that girls were the ones for her.
