Guy stretched out his limbs, enjoying the feel of his joints popping and loosening up. While his power might be mostly mental, he found that it generally worked better whenever he felt loose and in a more alert frame of mind. And given what he'd heard and read about the student he was about to train with, Guy wanted to be in the most alert frame of mind he'd ever been. He carefully looked around the room he'd prepared for her arrival. Most of the walls had been reinforced, insulated with various fireproof materials. There were a few flammable items about the room: a couple of rickety looking chairs, a smallish pile of kindling, what appeared to be most of a pillow, and a handful of targets that had probably resembled humans at some point but now looked more like chopped up mutants of the non-powered kind.
Guy lowered his hands and considered for a moment. They said the girl was unstable, nearly crazy, which did happen, unfortunately. Guy really didn't want to consider why it was that he kept getting the ones like that. Probably his magnetic personality. Then again, he knew that sometimes there was a chance of saving the truly crazy ones. Just let them know that it's okay, or that they can control their power. That's where Guy usually came in. Without as much power running through their overly hormonal bodies, most of the students would do just fine.
It was the ones who wouldn't that always left Guy feeling like he'd been punched in the stomach.
"She's late," said Guy, pulling up his wrist to double check the time. "I can't say I'm that surprised," he sighed, lacing his fingers together and positioning them behind his head. He hadn't really expected her to come on time, and it was rather absurd to think that she'd change her manners now. Guy decided that he wasn't going to waste his time though, even if she was. so he walked over to one of the chairs, hoisted himself up onto it, and pulled out his phone, tapping into the internet to look at the file.
He wouldn't even look up when she finally entered the room, obviously finding his phone so very fascinating.
