Grinning against his lips, the brunette let out a faint chuckle as she returned the kiss. Her hands went up to his cheeks, cupping his face. "Being in love," she replied, as if it was the simplest question anyone had ever offered before. Oh yes, Erika was well aware of how this would all look and how it would all be taken, but right now, the brunette didn't at all. In fact, she didn't care about anything but what was happening right here, right now.* * *Rolling onto her stomach, the brunette propped herself up on her elbows. Her eyes shifted to the gold ring on her finger. She pursed her lips as she ran the tip of her finger along it. A faint smile formed on the brunette's lips. They'd somehow managed to keep their clothes on until they'd reached the hotel (how, Erika would never understand) and the two of them now lay in the sun filled hotel room, bathed in the sun rays and the sheets.
It had just now finally began to sunk in exactly what she'd agreed to and part of her wanted to say that it was sheer and utter madness for her to agree to something like this so soon. After all, it had only been a few hours since the two of them had been separated by doubts and uncertainty, and here they were. Engaged. Not that she regretted saying yes, of course. Why on earth would she? Despite their rash actions, Erika already knew she wanted this and that she wanted this for as long as she possibly could. Forever was cliche and stupid, but right about now, it sounded pretty damn wonderful.
"I don't like silk sheets," the brunette said suddenly, her head turning to look at Drew. She offered him something of a playful smirk.
