Kamillia can create, control, and absorb fire. She controls fire with her mind, this needs a lot of focus for her to use, and a lot of control over her mind. If she isn’t thinking clearly while using her power, she will lose control over the fire she is manipulating and can end up causing a lot of damage around her. It is easier for her to take control of fire that is already made then her having to make it herself. While it is very easy for her to control palm sized balls of fire and it doesn’t take much effort (she likes to make animals, and objects out of balls of fire) controlling anything bigger is much harder for Kam and needs a lot more focus. Like a fire place, she wouldn’t be able to control it in a sense that she can move the fire to another source like say another fire place, but she would be able to manipulate the flames as they were. She can also take smaller fire sources from bigger ones and control the smaller ones.
One quirk that comes from Kamillia controlling fire is that the fire she creates, and controls focus abound her hands/palms. While she does control it with her mind, the flames center around her hands, and migrate there. Because of this, her hands will reach high temperatures to the point where she could burn herself or someone else she touches. Also because the fire focus on her hands, they are the only part of her body that is immune to fire.
LIMITATIONS:
Not Immune: Most of her body is not immune to fire, because of this she is acceptable to burns. Although her body is more tolerant to being around fire and extreme heat, fire touching her will burn her. Unless it’s her hands, her hands are completely immune to fire.
Focus: She needs a lot of focus to use her power, if she doesn’t have that focus, or loses her focus on what she’s doing the fire will dissipate.
Five feet range: She can only control fire that is within five feet around her. Whether it’s fire she created and is controlling, or if it was an already made fire that she wants to control.
Oxygen: She needs oxygen to fuel her flames and her abilities of creating flames will not work without it. Basically, what Kamilla does is that she pulls the oxygen from the air and makes the atoms vibrate until they catch alight.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
Headaches: Because her powers needs her to focus so much on it, she ends up getting headaches from using her power. The longer she uses her power the worse the headache.
Heat rises on hands: Heat will rise in her hands when using her power, and even though the fire is gone it take awhile for her hands to cool down to her normal body temperatures, so if she touches other parts of her body after using her power she can burn herself, her clothing, or burn other things if she touches them.
High body temperature: She naturally has a high body temperature than normal, because of this people tend to think she has a fever, but she really doesn’t. Because of this she has a higher chance of having heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Cold: Because her power makes her body temperature higher it’s easier for her to get hypothermia and frost bite.

PERSONALITY:
Kamillia can be a pretty opened minded person. She’s open to other people’s opinions, as long as they aren’t about her… She’s open to doing pretty much anything. In this way Kam is pretty adventurous, she always wanting to do something that makes her heart race, whether this is trying a new trick on her skateboard, performing in front of others, or going on the most extreme roller coasters. She’s always up for some fun. Kam is pretty friendly when first meeting her, and if she likes you afterward. Kam is the type of person who loves to joke around, say stupid things, and act like she doesn’t care about anything in the world as long as she’s laughing. In a way Kam can be very boyish, she likes to cuss, she’s incredibly blunt, and is incredibly sarcastic. She doesn’t like people being fake around her, if you don’t like her tell her, she doesn’t like people beating around the bush either, just say what you have to say. Don’t act like you don’t like her, because if Kam doesn’t like you, she will let you know.
One thing Kam completely hates is drama, she can’t stand it, if you have drama with a mutual friend, leave her out of it; Have a fight with a significant other? Leave her out of it. However, Kam does tend to start drama her own ways by not taking help when offered, or not asking for help when she needs it. Or just getting into fights with people, or the fact that there are very few girls she would actually befriend. She doesn’t like gossip, so don’t expect her to put up with talking bad about that one girl who you hate. Kam is believes in the saying ‘treat others they way you want to be treated’, this is something she tries to do herself. She doesn’t expect people to like her, but she does expect people to be honest with her just like she would be honest with them. This is one reason why she is pretty friendly and nice to people she first meets, because she would want people to be nice to her when they first meet her.
Being sort of a delinquent, at least that’s what she calls herself, because in a way that is what she is. She has a hard time following rules that go against what she wants, it’s not that she likes not following them she just doesn’t like being held back from what she wants. She likes to go to clubs, she likes to stay up later than 12 pm on weekends. This is why she has sort of a problem with authority, and ‘adults’ in general. Because she doesn’t like to be told what to do outside of school work. Even friends who try to tell her she shouldn’t do something ends up annoying Kam. She rather do something that’s obviously stupid and learn the hard way that she shouldn’t do it than have someone tell her not to do it. If she wants to do something, she will do it, unless it’s herself that is holding her back.
Even though Kam is pretty tough, and acts like it a lot she can be pretty sensitive. Not sensitive in the way she can’t take an obvious joke even if it could come off offensive to someone, even herself. However, she’s sensitive in the way that if someone she’s close friends with breaks her trust by talking behind her back; she will take it to heart and won’t be able to trust that friend with anything for a very long time, even if it was a onetime thing. Or if one of her friends were to purposely insult her to hurt her, she really would be hurt, and become a little insecure. Kam can get into bouts about she becomes insecure, and lose courage in herself. It’s not known why it happens, but it does, she ends up thinking that she’s not good enough, or that she’s maybe too blunt. Sometimes it the self doubt becomes serious enough that she starts to try to change or thinks about changing, but it doesn’t last long. She ends up realizing that changing herself to fit someone else’s image isn’t who she is.

CHILDHOOD:
Born February 19th, she was born and raised in Germany. Her parents were business people, and all about it; they spent most of their time in their offices or at work. That was their only concern even after having Kam. Kamillia wan’t planned, at least by her father; her mother however busy she was did want a child so she had stopped using birth control to have Kamillia. Her mother realized having a child was a mistake seeing how he treated her, but she wasn’t strong enough to leave her husband. They did the things you expect most parents to do, buy her clothes, feed her, give her a roof over her head. But anything emotional was not there, the outward love wasn’t there. Because of this Kam grew up thinking her parents hated her, and knowing she was a mistake because her father would never let her forget it. When Kam was two, they had another child, that they actually planned; Kam never understood how she had became the mistake and her younger sister was the planned one.
Her childhood was decent enough outside of her father. She was outgoing, always doing something she shouldn’t, like any child. She was adventurous and didn’t mind getting hurt. By the time she was seven she had developed a smart mouth and started talking back to adults. Her parents tried to discipline her and when that didn’t help, they sent her to her Grandfather’s during the summers. It helped a little and for a time Kam’s backtalk phase died out. The emotional abuse that her father put her through also did a number on her courage; she became less mouthy toward him not wanting to get him angry, and trying to do whatever she could to make her father happy. However, it was never enough; even when Kam got As and Bs in school, her father would always tell her it wasn’t good enough, that she needed all As. Or when she hurt herself by scraping a knee, he told her she was worthless to him.
However, her mother tried to balance it out by taking care of her, and making sure she was alright. Except that her mother was always working, or stressed out because of work, so she never had enough time to really talk to Kam and really get to know her first daughter. This made Kam resent both her parents, because her father adored her younger sister because she was the one that obeyed rules, and was the one that got straight As, and the planned one.
ADOLESCENCE:
At the age of twelve, her powers manifested. It was during the summer so she had been at her grandfather’s house. She had been playing outside on the playground her grandfather had for her and her sister when they visited. She had started to get mad at her sister for pushing her off the top of the playground, and ended up with a ball of flames floating on her hands. Once the flames were gone her sister started to call her a freak, and they got into a fight, kam tried to push her sister and ended up burning her pretty badly on the shoulders.
When her grandfather came outside to see what was going on, Kam told him everything. Her gramps understood and didn’t yell at her which she had been really grateful for. The next day she went back to her parent’s house. Something she didn’t understand because it had been too soon to go back. She soon understood when her mother told her she had to go to St. Cadou and that they would be picking her up soon. The school Kam ended up going to had been her parents choice, and Kam did not like it at all, she wanted to pick where she went. I was her life after all, but her father would not have it.
Kamillia started acting out a couple months after arriving at St. Cadou. She didn’t like it there, she didn’t like it anywhere except at her Grandfather’s place. No one seemed to understand her, and all she wanted was out. Her parents didn’t even seem to care that she was gone, and that was another reason why she started to act out. When she became 13 and her sister 11, the sister manifested; and her parents sent her to St. Cadio as well.
After another three years of Kam’s parents getting notes and calls from the school, they made a move to do something about it. Because her grandfather lived in the U.S they decided the best thing to do was have transfer to Bellefonte and give the school her grandfather’s number, so if anything happened he would be closer to deal with it, and because he was always better at getting through to Kam. At this point Kam gave up on acting out, it hadn’t gotten her very far. She wasn’t sure if she was in a better place at Bellefonte or if she was in a worse place. All she knew was she was father away from her parents, which was good and bad. Kam had always just wanted her parents to accept her the way she was, but that was never going to happen; so being so far away from them felt like a burden lifted off her shoulders.
Kamillia didn’t act out so much at Bellefonte, she liked the mountains, and the school. She was able to train her power better because they didn’t put as much pressure on her about it. Her grades also picked up, now that she was 16 she needed to start thinking about her future. She still did stupid teenage things, like drink, smoke, and break bones. She was still her after all, but she took more care in getting good grades.
ADULTHOOD:
Being eighteen hasn’t changed much for Kamillia, she is still in the highschool at Bellefonte. She had been held back because of the fact she failed a year at St. Cadou (another reason she transferred), and because she didn’t have complete control over her power yet.
SAMPLE:
Kamillia walked into the comic book store, earbuds in her ears, and phone in her pocket, listening to Krewella one of her favorite groups. Her music wasn’t loud enough to drown out noise around her, so if someone came up to her to talk to her she would hear them. But having earbuds in and listening to music was a great way to be able to ignore someone without being a bitch. Which she liked because less drama that way; not that she ever really ignored anyone anyways. It was always better for her to just notice whoever it was trying to get her attention.
Coming here every week just to look around completely helped her figure out where everything was at. Now she had a good feel for the place, unlike the first time she walked came here. She was thankful to have had someone walk in and help her, but now she didn’t really need any help. Kam knew what she was looking for, and knew where to find it. She was looking for the walking dead series, and Fable, she found them pretty well, granted she did have to ask for help when she was first trying to find them. But she realized that asking for help wasn’t a wrong move, because now she loved all of the series she was collecting and if she hadn’t asked for help she wouldn’t have gotten into comics at all.
She stood in front of the walking dead section and tried to scout for the one that she needed next in the series.
