One of the things Lucy actually did enjoy about being stuck in Montana was the way the sky looked during the night. Unlike in the city where the stars were mostly hidden due to the various lights, Montana offered quite the beautiful night sky. It kind of reminded Lucy of home - which wasn't all great, but things hadn't just been bad. It was one of the few things Lucy had actually liked about growing up in a trailer park. Admittedly, the stars were a lot more visible here than what they had been back in Alabama.
Narrowing her eyes, Lucy leaned her back against the tree. Her arms came to wrap around her waist, tugging her jacket closer; it was spring, sure, but the nights were still cold. She could even vaguely see the smoke rising from between her lips.
Sighing, Lucy leaned her head back against the tree as her eyes closed. She listened closely to the sounds around her; she could vaguely hear the chatter coming from the camp area, which she'd admittedly spent the entire day avoiding. She'd only been there a little in the beginning, some after that, and that one time she had to change clothes after falling out into the river. Other than that, she'd more or less been off somewhere else, trying to get as far away from the rest of the people as she possibly could.
Though, more people seemed to have the same idea as herself. She figured that was what you'd get when putting a group of troubled kids in the forest; half of which wasn't even socially active. "You do realize I can sense you, right?" she tossed over her shoulder; another thing about her power; few people could sneak up on her without her sensing them.
