Devyn closed her eyes and thought about what the other girl was saying and she figured that in a way that made sense. It was hard sometimes to just tell someone what feeling they gave you or what you felt about them. One it was hard if you were not the kind of person who was open with that sort of thing. then sometimes it came down to the level of trust that it took to share such a thing and it could have even been because the other girl was not sure what it was just yet. Devyn could buy all of that since she herself had felt the same way about certain peoples at times as well.
"Well that makes me feel special at the very least." Devyn said as she chuckled slightly. She actually did like to feel special, to be different from all others out there. It made her someone that was hard to forget and someone that clearly drew in others to her. She was one to own being different and she wanted others to do the same. She did sit up and tried water when the girl spoke of how she was not social but at least she had people that she knew she could trust. "That is always the bonus of it. Those who are careful about making friends end up making the kind of friends that will last a lifetime. Usually." Devyn said and thought about it for a moment.
There were of course some cases in where that did not always hold true but that was mainly on the other parties fault and not the main person. Not that it mattered, Devyn understood and could relate on some level but she made a lot of friends and friends in general pretty easy. Especially because she had a habit of making friends with under dogs and there were a lot of those in high school to make friends with. Dev was actually surprised that the girl agreed without much of a fuss, and slightly surprised by what the girl said in response to how she got one of her scars.
Dev didn't want to judge, but well she was a little bit in her head. She didn't like people who dealt in drugs and things like that. There were some that she was alright with, but meth was not but she was not just going to assume right away that the girl had done meth. She would wait and see and for now was going to talk about her scars. "Umm...well these few are burns from a cigarette. This is when I broke my arm and the bone stuck out from my skin. This is from shrapnel. Got some bullet grazes, some training accident scars." Devyn said as she pointed to the various marks all over her body. She then chuckled a little, "Enough that we would be all wrinkled if I told the full story of all of them."
