Letting out a relieved sigh, Erika's smile fully returned as the tension seemed to rise up and disappear into the air. It wasn't that it had really bothered her or anything, because truth be told, it left her feeling a little more curious than what was good for her. Well, okay, it bothered her in the way that she still felt as if she had done or said something wrong, yet couldn't quite figure out what it was. But it was probably better to leave it like that and rather let him be the one to deal with the issue, if there even was one.
Besides, he was her friend and if there actually was an issue, she trusted him enough to believe he'd tell her.
And with that, the worry Erika had felt was lifted like a giant weight off of her chest as she looked at him with a grin, ''Guess you'll never find out,'' she said with a wink before running her hand idly through her hair.
''Wuss,'' was all she said before she was halfway down the stairs, shrugging at his last comment, ''Suit yourself!'' she called back with a chuckle. Hey, if he didn't want to follow she wasn't going to push. As she arrived the fountain, Erika hoisted herself up on the higher stone circle surrounding it, leaned over and dipped her hand down into the water. It was freezing, though that wasn't really a surprise after all. Sure, spring was growing nearer, but Montana wasn't exactly the warmest place on earth these days.
Now, all she had to do was figure out if she was brave enough to actually go into the water. And that was easier said than done.
The smile she put off relaxed Jeremy further. It was like pulling the weight of the world off his shoulders and his blood began to return to a normal warmth. He should probably apologize, but then again that word wasn't in his vocabulary. Sorry's were never given out freely from the boy, especially on a matter like this. No. It was best to ignore it a move on; a motto he lived by since his daddy walked out the door in his youth.
"Pffft." The blonde headed boy puffed out at her comment. "I'll find out one of these days." He teased back at her, lips stretching into a cheeky grin.
Her comment placed a rather sarcastic look of shock upon his face. "Me?!" He spoke up, placing a hand upon his chest like he was some sort of desperate housewife who had been scolded or shocked by her husband's mistress. "Oh I don't think so." Jeremy add before starting to get to his feet. He was gonna follow her, but he had to make it look like it was his own will, not because she was moving the conversation over to somewhere else.
Grey eyes watched as Erika made her way down the steps and onto the stone circle surrounding the fountain that sat before them. As he made his way down the steps, he watched carefully as she tested the water. It had to be freezing. Sure, spring was around the corner but it would still take weeks for that water to be decent, and even then it would still be chilly as hell. That wouldn't stop him though.
Just as the girl began to stand back up, Jeremy approached from behind, one lightly shaky hand escaping from his jacket pocket and placing itself upon her back. One quick push and a splash latter the boy howled in laughter. "Oh no!" He squealed out beside bits out laughter. He'd get it for sure after this, but that was alright. There was always bigger pranks to pull down the road.

Erika probably should have expected him to follow or to pull her leg in any form, shape or color, but then again, she was also known for being immensely gullible and naive, she maybe he'd excuse her for her foolishness once he would be done using it against her. The thought of being pushed into the water never crossed her mind. Heck, she was almost on the verge of turning around and say 'fuck it, too cold' when she suddenly felt a push against her back, and the next thing she knew, she was surrounded by freezing water.
Everything that followed seemed to happen in slow motion, all though in reality it only took her a few seconds before she was standing back up on her feet. She could feel the ice cold water hit her skin like a slap to the face. It was almost suffocating as she could feel her lungs press themselves together to avoid any water from entering. It was if her entire body was on fire, an ice cold kind of flame engulfing her mind, her body and her brain.
Pushing herself up from the water, Erika brushed her now drained hair away from her face and pressed her lips into a hard line. Her black skinny jeans and her see through, white shirt sat as glued to her petite form - and as if that wasn't bad enough, Erika had picked just the right day to let her ladies run wild.
''...You're dead,'' she said, clumsily climbing over the edge of the fountain, which was surprisingly hard, even with her body clinging to her body like a child clinging to its mother before having to leave for the first day of school. Stumbling over the cold rock, swinging her arms in the air, before finally, very unsteadily so, making her way back to dry land. In a swift movement, Erika let her power off of its leash and noticed how it crept along the ground, feeling every rock, piece of grass and hole as if she was feeling it with her own hands, before it finally grabbed a hold of Jeremy's legs, clinging to it like a baby koala, keeping him in place while she swiftly made her move to wrap her arms around his waist, and pressed her soaking wet body and clothes against his - frowning at the sudden static electricity biting onto her skin.
That much was definitely for sure. Never in their time as friends had he done something so bad and yet so hilarious towards the petite girl, but then again there was a first time for everything right? The water splashed around as he began to watch Erika through squinted eyes, the laughter coming back in waves. His chest began to hurt, eyes watered, and slowly he ran out of breath as the previous four seconds replayed over and over in his mind like some sort of sick fantasy on repeat.
He was a dead man.
"Oh man." Jeremy finally huffed out, his stature slowly rising back to normal posture as he sighed, letting the last bit of a giggle escape his lips. Grey eyes cleared what little bit of moisture they had mustered up and that's when the image hit and the ice water poured into his veins. There in front of him stood soaking wet Erika, black jeans hugging tighter than normal to her hips and a wet white shirt that exposed damn near everything to the boy. A silent gasp escaped him as he sucked in air, the seriousness of the situation now replacing the joking atmosphere like some sort of thick fog....and it began to strangle him.
"You're dead."
That was the last thing to hit his ears before they went deaf with the sound of his racing heart. The hard line of her lips read it all, and he should have known what was coming next, but the shock of the image of her caught him off guard. A familiar prickling sensation took hold of his leg and before he knew it she was wrapped around his waist, nearly gluing herself to him. "Wa-!" Jeremy tried to stop her, but it was too late. He could already feel the wetness of her shirt seeping into his own shirt and then it touched his skin. Great. Just what he needed. The back feed from the small shock nearly made him collapse. He felt himself go limber for a split moment, knees buckling as his arms wrapped back around her to keep himself stead. "W-woah." He stuttered out, brain hazy from the lack of feeling that slowly crept back out of his body. "That wasn't a good idea." He told her. He tightened his arms around her frame, letting his knees slowly lock back into place.
For that moment his mind was clear, but then the image crept back in once more.

A normal person probably would have backed away the second the static electricity met with the body, because really, who the fuck hugged a electricity manipulator while being soaking wet? Oh, that's right, Miss Naive herself. Remaining in place as he felt his body grow wobbly, she planted her feet against the ground and waited for him to regain his balance, grinning at his small outbursts.
Maybe she underestimated the male brain, or maybe it was once more her naivety striking a goal, but for whatever reason, the fact that her shirt was see through, her clothes soaked to the point where the glued themselves to her features and the fact that the ice cold water had managed to get everything that normally did so in contact with coldness, stood up, didn't even cross her mind as she tilted her head backwards to get a better view, water still running down her olive skin, ''Almost killed ya there,'' she teased with a wink.
Erika then smiled with her usual mischievous smirk as she slid her cold, and already growing numb fingers under his shirt, slowly moving her fingertips across the skin on his hips, running along the hem of his pants, to his lower back before they finally settled at his mid-back, ''Yes, this is the price you have to pay for pushing me into the water. You can officially consider yourself my hot water bottle,'' she pointed out before pressing her forehead against is shoulder. The raw wind and the cold weather didn't exactly help her keep her warmth, and as he was the only source of heat, she gave herself the permission to borrow some of it.
In all honesty, Jeremy was glad Erika hadn't backed away. Most of the time when these incidents happened, he was alone and normally had his face planted into the ground. This time though, it ended up resting upon her wet shoulder, which was more than alright by him....though that feeling wouldn't be expressed aloud.
His arms relaxed a bit, though the muscles in them began to twitch slightly; a sign that he needed to get his hands on some sort of current, and fairly soon at that. The grin that was on her face was enough to cause a small chuckle to arise. "I told you I was a klutz." He teased, poking fun mainly at himself so the situation wouldn't turn back serious, but that was before she had tilted her head back and his eyes locked down to perkiness that laid below her shirt. "Y-yeah. Ya did." He replied to her comment, stuttering partly from the incident, but mostly for the image that was seared into his brain.
Erika's smirk read bad intentions, and he knew better than to expect anything less as he felt her cold fingers slide under his shirt. Now he could feel his own pants begin to tighten as her fingers made their way along the hem of his pants and around to the small dip in his back. Eyes closed, her voice seemed smooth against the cool wind. "Heh." He chuckled out nervously, "Well that's alright. I guess it's the price for a free view." Oh, that was bold. If it wasn't for the situation he might have given himself a pat on the back, but instead he let off a small wink, sealing the flirty line.
"Oh I know." The boy chimed up through chattering teeth. Even though her fingers might have been getting warm they were still icy cold to the touch of his skin. "It's the price for these devilishly good looks."

His comment had Erika lifting her head back, before dropping downwards to finally realize what she looked like, and how visible everything was. ''Oh,'' was all she managed to say before she felt the familiar heat grow on her cheeks.
Erika lifted one of her hands to his chin, janking his head backwards as if to prevent him from seeing more than what he already had, she scoffed and kept her other hand firmly pressed against his back, ''Pig,'' she chuckled and bit her lower lip. Well, this was awkward. She couldn't push herself away, because god forbid someone else saw her strutting around like this, and by staying like this, she more or less gave him a free show. So, the only option she had was to make sure she kept his head high and his eyes away. Bullet-proof? Probably not. But right now, it would have to do.
''Devilish good looks, you say? So far, all you've managed to do is get me wet, but my clothes are still very much on my body, so I don't know about that. Maybe you're not as much of a womanizer as you thought, eh?'' Erika winked at him which was followed by a chuckle.
The chill was starting to get to her as she felt the goosebumps crawl over her skin, which only brought her to pressing herself even closer to the blonde, scrunching her nose before letting out a sigh, ''You really didn't think this through, did you?'' She peeked up at him with a pout, ''Seriously, my nipples are going to freeze to the point where they will fall off,''
Finally. At least all she was doing wasn't some sort of plot to horny him up. She had forgotten about the fountain and just generally needed body heat. Yeah...that still didn't help the tightening in his pants, and with her fingers moving around slightly to keep the numbness that he was sure was starting to take over...well, it just didn't help at all.
Jeremy winced slightly at the cold hand that pushed against his chin, preventing him from seeing any more surprises. He didn't need to look now though. The image was seared perfectly into his brain, and now when she decided to prance about the dorm in her towel after a shower it would fill in the gaps seamlessly and torture him. "Hey. Not my fault you decided to run wild today." He teased, though it didn't help the awkwardness of the situation any.
"But you say I still got you wet though. Gotta count for somethin'." The blonde shot back, the flirting now starting to become a bit more prominent in him. Who could blame him though. If you had a girl like Erika pressed up against you in a wet t-shirt what would you do? That's what I thought. Still, the last bit caught him a bit off-guard. "Me? A womanizer? Please." He began to explain, "Just cause I have dated a few girls doesn't mean I am one. Besides. Don't you have to purposely like, ruin a girl's life to be one?" He chuckled a bit, shaking his head. That boy was the furthest thing from a womanizer than Shakespeare was a rapper. Jeremy dated, sure, but by dating it was never a strict terms ordeal. Ya know, you go with me and no one else. Pffft. Life was short, dating was suppose to be just...dating. Nothing had to be super serious all the time, especially when you just wanted to hang out with someone you thoroughly enjoyed.
Erika spoke, sending a grand smirk across his lips and another bellow of laughter. "Nope. Sure didn't." He replied, "But then again do I ever?" He poked at himself before moving so he could inch the jacket off of his shoulders. "Here." He offered the denim jacket to her as his shaky hands worked out of the sleeves, all the while managing to still keep her pressed firmly against him.

Rolling her eyes, Erika remained silent. He had a point though, even as much as it annoyed her. She truly had picked the worst, possible day to not wear a bra. Well, at least she would every day from now on. The poor buns, would never be able to feel the fresh breeze against their skin anymore. Oh well, it couldn't be helped. Rather that than them being exposed like this. They deserved better. Poor Nana and Tootsie.
And yes, she had totally named them. Though, she rarely remembered the names and always ended up naming them something different each time.
Watching him closely as he spoke, Erika pursed her lips as she nodded, ''Fair enough,'' she added and shrugged. Really though, he didn't exactly strike her as the relationship kind of guy. He never really had. But then again, she didn't exactly have anything to base her judgements on, other than what it seemed like, so for all she knew she could have been wrong. Very wrong. ''You don't exactly strike me as the serious kind of guy,'' she pointed out and peeked up at him through her dark eyelashes, smirking faintly. No, Erika was definitely the kind of girl who'd pick a steady relationship over casual dating anytime, anyday. Being the hopeless romantic she was, she also got extremely jealous easily, and when sticking to one person, she excepted the other part to do the same.
As long as it was a official relationship anyways. If not, then it was more or less free game.
''Not really,'' Erika laughed. She welcomed the jacket with a warm smile and pushed herself slightly away so she could get her arms free enough to hold the jacket up, ''Here, hold the corners, and don't peek,'' she said with a wink, waiting for him to do what she said, and when he did, Erika looked around and placed herself in such a manner that if anyone behind her decided to look, all they would see was her back. Placing both of her hands on the rim of her top, Erika pulled (More so dragged it, because of the water) over her head, before tossing it over Jeremy's head.
Erika stuck her hands through the sleeves and turned around to button the jacket up, before letting out a sigh, ''Much better,'' she let out as she again, turned to face the blonde, spreading her arms out as if she was showing off a new piece of clothing to her friends, ''How do I look?'' she said cheerfully. The jacket was buttoned up enough to hide any major features, but short enough to show off a bit of cleavage. Not that it mattered to her, but at least she was no longer showing off her goodie-goods to the entire world.
Erika questioning his relationships was a bit new. No one ever had really done that, not even the girls he dated here and there. Everyone just kind of understood their role and no further questions were needed. See, to Jeremy, society made dating way overly complicated. I mean Facebook? Come on, that was just some ploy to get booty calls for married people. Dating in general was just suppose to be that. Dating. Nothing more. No cheap imitation strings and fancy glitter about the air. No cupids shooting arrows. If you fell in love you did, if you didn't oh well. No big deal.
"Serious?" The blonde questioned back. "If you mean serious as in finding the one person right off the bat and devoting yourself to them then no. I'm not the serious guy." He began to explain, forehead wrinkling slightly like it always did when he started to dive into a deep topic. "I mean...dating is suppose to be fun ya know? People make it way too complicated these days. If you fall in love great, if not oh well. Move on. As far as like dating just one person I mean yeah. I'm into that." He went on, taking a quick breath. "But if said person wants to see someone else, I don't throw a fit. Life is too short." Shoulders shrugged a bit at that last comment. Maybe he was just weird, but he couldn't help it.
Doing what she asked, Jeremy held the corners of the jacket, grey eyes watching as she turned about, stripping off her top. His heart fell once more. What was it about a bare girl's back that was just so...so...enticing? Teeth found the edge of his lip as he bit down on it gently, supressing the last of the hormones within him before he did something stupid.
After all was said and done, the wet shirt landed upon his head causing him to chuckle and pull it off. "Gross." He teased, wadding the thing up, trying his best to wring most of the water out of it. At her question, the boy gave her a look over before giving a cheeky grin. "Like a bitch." He teased brightly, as if it was more of a compliment than sarcasm like one would portray.

Narrowing her eyes as Jeremy spoke, Erika remained silent as she listened to what he said. Nodding slowly, she pursed her lips before letting out a silent sigh, ''I see,'' she said and the corner of her lip turned somewhat upwards into a sideway smirk, ''Who woulda known even Jeremy Hargrove has a heart! Someone please call the news! This might just throw the entire world into limbo!'' she teased and chuckled before shaking her head, ''Good for you. I didn't know you out of all people could be so mature, huh. Guess you learn something new every day, eh?''
She had to admit she was somewhat pleasantly surprised. He wasn't at all the big homeboy flirt she had imagined him to be. Which in turn made her feel a little guilty for judging him so rashly without never really asking before. Oh well, at least she knew now.
Too occupied with getting undressed and dressed again, Erika didn't pay much attention to his attention. She figured her back couldn't give her any more trouble than wearing a see through t-shirt without a bra had already given her.
Erika stuck her tongue out at him for his comment, but put her concentration on pulling her damp hair out from the jacket and ruffled it before her hands finally fell somewhat still to her sides, tapping her foot absentmindedly, ''Oh yes, your jacket totally do my complexion its proper justice'' she said with a laugh and blew away a strand of hair that kept falling into her face whenever she moved, ''But really though, I should get in and take a shower before I get sick,'' She grabbed her shirt with a thankful smile and moved past the blonde, only to turn around, walking backwards away from him, ''And here I was going to offer you to join me later, then you had to ruin everything by giving me a bath,'' she said and sent a wink his way. Letting out a final chuckle, the brunette turned around again and skipped up the steps.
The boy was pleasantly surprised that she understood what he was trying to say. Most of the time when a serious topic was brought up, a switch flipped in his mind and what poured from his mouth, while simple in his head, ended up in a tangled mess before him. "I don't call it a heart." Jeremy replied, "I just call it living." A smile pressed over his lips at that line. Maybe he would write that down in his notebook later. Just cause he wasn't able to play guitar didn't mean he couldn't still write lyrics.
The brunette went on, teasing him a bit on his maturity in the mysteries of dating and love. His response as usual was a roll of the eyes. "Hey now. You never asked. I just assumed you knew." He went on, giving her a look that read 'tsk tsk tsk, someone didn't do their homework'. Then again he wasn't at all surprised. People had always tend to judge each other one way or another. As much as he tried not to, he was just as guilty of it as anyone else. Still, after people made fun of his tremors, he learned to curb that trait quickly.
Her tongue puffed out from her lips, cracking the smile upon his face into a grin before a smirk tugged at the corners. "Pfft. It looks better on me." The boy teased back, shaking his head lightly as he crossed his arms to keep his hands from shaking as bad. He was going to need to take care of that soon, or else he might really be on the concrete face first.
"Oh...uh..yeah." He piped up at her ensuing plans, almost forgetting about what happened a few minutes ago. "Can't have you passing the sniffles around the dorm." He added before catching her little comment. He rolled his grey eyes once more though the part of him that had newly surfaced early wished it was true. He turned to face her, watching as she back peddled up the stairs. "Maybe another time." He nodded once. "I myself have to take care of the little shock you gave me." He added, letting one of his hands come free from under his other arm, showing how badly it was starting to shake.
With that, Erika turned around and made her way back up the stairs as Jeremy himself turned the opposite way, beginning to head off towards the nearest thing that was holding some sort of electricity beside his phone. "I expect that jacket dry cleaned by tonight!" He called out towards her, not bothering to turn around.
