Who would have guess that two thousands years into the future that the world would have been taken over by Alien Toilets? Devyn would not have. Hell, she didn't even think she would make it this far but somehow she ended up tossed ahead into the future where somehow the human race had lost to a alien race of man eating toilets. Talk about odd when the human race 'fed' toilets their waste and now toilets were eating them like they were the new form of waste. As expected, the human race was not going to take being eating by toilets laying down; or squatting, and thus formed a resistance group dedicated to eradicating the sentient toilets.
Devyn was a part of that resistance group, having been stuck in this future for about a few weeks now after having appeared in a strange room. She was back in the strange room again, knowing that a new group of people were going to just end up appearing there just like she had done those weeks ago. She was there with a few other members apart of the resistance, waiting for the next batch of people from the past to just appear. It was best to grab recruits as soon as possible and cram in a quick sum of what was going on.
"Alright, be ready. Keep your fingers close to the safety in case we get some Johns bursting in on our little party." Devyn informed the members of her team. Just then as expected the new batch of people popped up in the room. Welcome to the future.
Serene woke up. She didn't know where she was or what was going on. The world smelled of waste. It was revolting. She was in a weird clearing. It didn't seem familiar to her. In the center of it was a toilet. Serene thought that was odd considering there dent seem to be any form of plumbing nearby. She walked up and inspected the toilet. After touching it gingerly the lid snapped up and down for a moment. She backed away quickly. It had fangs!
Then, as she started backing up. It rushed at her. She didn't know how a toilet from a loo could move, but she ran. After screaming "Bloody Hell." And a few things a bit more colorful she seemed to have spoken off the stupid toilet. She kept running though and didn't look back. She turned around at one point though as she ran. Then she tripped over a tree root onto someone.

Ricky's thoughts swirled in his head as he lay on the cold ground, barely conscious. His senses kicked in slowly, and immediately his sense of smell was overwhelmed by the putrid odor of waste. He kept his eyes closed a while longer since he wasn't sure he wanted to know where he was that would smell so horrid. He felt the ground beneath him with his gloved hands. Soft dirt and some dead or dying foliage. He was in some sort of field?
Suddenly he heard some distant screaming and shouting. A girl's voice, distressed and full of colorful profanities. Before Ricky could register whether he recognized the voice, he heard quick footsteps heading his direction. Then, the source of the footsteps landed on top of him nearly knocking the air out of his lungs. His eyes snapped open and he quickly scrambled out from underneath the fortunately light body on top of him. Within a few seconds Ricky had instinctively jumped up to his feet and pulled his gloves off, hoping that if he was in danger, whatever threat he was facing had a brain and muscles to subdue and manipulate.
...Wait. It was a girl. Presumably the one he had heard screaming just before. "Wh-Who are you? Where am I?"

Sebastian was clustered around Devyn along with the other members of their team; it couldn’t have been more than a fortnight since he’d first awoken in this godforsaken toilet bowl that now passed as earth, and needless to say he’d been more than happy to join the resistance once he realised they were the only thing standing between him and killer toilets.
Nodding his affirmative to Devyn’s warning, Sebastian kept his weapon trained beyond the new recruits as he ushered them behind the gathered resistance; “Move it folks, we don’t got all day.” As expected the new arrivals were confused and disorientated, but Sebastian barely had time to register their distress as a scream pierced the air, echoing in the distance.
Cocking his weapon, he moved to Devyn’s side, “Sounds like some recruits got dropped outside of the entry zone again. You take point, I’ve got your six.” He knew, as he said it, that the military lingo was probably a little much for a recruit as green as himself, but he couldn’t help it. This was as close to being James Bond as he was ever going to get, and if he was going to be eaten alive by an alien toilet then he was damn well going to make the most of it.

Devyn was pleased at the turnout of new people. She didn't know how or why they were being sent from the past and into the future which was the now. She was no scientist and it was not her job to as the hard questions and figure out some way. No, her job was to wall around with weapons to put down the toilets permanently. If there was anyone in their little squad she trusted the most, it would have been Sebastian. Even now her fellow resistance member was ready, helping move people along, and having Devyn's back.
They really didn't have all day, staying still for too long always seemed to bring in those mobile toilets that were looking to swallow...er flush you whole. Devyn helped load the new members into the back of the truck. It was always easy to stuff them in like cattle and then drive them back to a safer location to be filled in and given a choice. A choice they had actual little decision in when it came to the large scheme of things. They could either become part of the resistance in some aspect or they could go out there and try to survive on their own.
The sound of the screaming in the distance had Devyn letting out a low growl but she gave a nod to Sebastian. "You, you, and you get your plungers ready and cover the perimeter. Hold here no more than ten minutes and get out of here if we are not back by then." Devyn gave the orders and moved ahead after giving a simple motion to Sebastian. She was by no means in charge of the whole operation, just this particular group. "If we ever figure out who is behind people appearing in this time, remind me to punch them in the face, and remind me to buy you a drink once we get back to base." Devyn said to Sebastian as they headed out towards the source of the sound.
The alien toilet that had come across Serene had not been scared off, but instead went to alert a few of its buddies. Now a group of six or so Man-eating toilets were headed right for where Serene and Ricky were at. Things were certainty about to get interesting.
Serene was still freaking out. What the bloody hell is going on. Her eyes wide with fear she got underway from the ground and started saying, "I'm Sorry. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo sorry." to the boy she tripped on. Then she saw what was going on. Two older boys were screaming at the top of their lungs military stuff. Serene didn't know what was going on until she turned around to face what was coming.
"Bloody Hell!" she screamed again as she saw the barrage of toilets coming right towards her and the boy she tripped on. "What the hell is going on!" she screamed and started walking right up to the stupid toilets. "I was just asleep at bellefonte when I was here with you stupid toilets! I just want to go back where emotions are calmer and I don't have this damn headache!" she screamed at the toilets.

Sebastian bowed his head in understanding, and hustled after Devyn as they headed towards the screams. Despite the direness of the situation, he couldn’t help but smile at her offer, “Alright. And if we get out of here alive, I’m holding you to that!”
As the unlikely rebels stumbled onto the scene of Ricky and Serene’s distressing arrival, Sebastian’s weapon snapped from creature to creature, whilst Serene – who as far as he could tell was having some kind of breakdown – ran straight towards the enemy. Cursing loudly he rushed forwards, unclipping a bleach-grenade from his belt. Lobbing it over the blonde’s head and into the midst of the enemy, he grabbed her firmly by the shoulders and turned her to face him.
“Look, we only have a second before those things come at us again – the bleach hurts them, but it doesn’t kill. Unfortunately. We will explain everything. But right now, I just need you to calm down and come with us. Okay? Caaaaalm...” Without waiting – he wasn’t kidding about there not being time – Sebastian pushed her away from the toilets, urging her to run as he covered her back. The “grenades”, as he liked to refer to them were little more than balloons or canisters filled with bleach, but they did their job... Most of the time.
Backing away, Sebastian was preparing to use his powers on the stunned aliens, when a cloud of birds lifted from the treetops beyond the clearing, obviously disturbed by something lurking out there, “Maybe we should follow the birds example?” He called to Devyn, throwing another grenade for good measure as he sidled closer, “I think the blonde one lost a few screws on the way over... She’s going to get us all killed.”

"That’s cool by me. Unless I get gobbled up by a toilet, I'll be sure to get you that drink." Devyn said as she chuckled a little bit. She had several plungers on her so she had no plans of dying today. The plungers didn't kill the toilets either, they were more so to just stop them from being able to eat you. If you timed it just right, you would prevent them from being able to fully close their mouths and swallow. The plungers looked like any other kind of plunger except that tended to have a bleach bomb strapped to them as well or a cleaning to help keep the toilets busy while escapes were made.
Destroying the alien toilets was actually a lot harder due to whatever their alien skin was made out of. Thoughts about how to kill the toilets stopped when Devyn saw something she was pretty sure she would never have seen in all her years stuck in the future. Then again, it only been weeks and not years but it was still a sight. One of the new potential recruits was actually going a little towards the enemy and yelling at them. Unless she had supersonic screaming or something like that, she was wasting her time and trying to get them killed. Dev was pleased that Sebastian was handling it because she was likely to just outright punch the girl to knock her out and carry her off.
Devyn provided cover while Sebastian did his thing, the bleach bombs doing an effective job at keeping the toilets back for the time being, but it was limited time. "Yeah, let’s move out. Carry her if you have to. Unless a toilet is too close, then do what you got to do." Devyn advised Sebastian as she went to help up the other guy and get him moving. If he was too slow she would indeed pick him up and carry him. They didn't have time to be wasting waiting for the ones that had been dropped outside of the drops zone to get it together. "Radio Hotshot and get us a ride out of here ASAP." Devyn ordered Sebastian as they moved out.

Ricky had been standing in the same place completely frozen for several moments trying to process everything. He hadn't even had time to accept the apology offered to him before he witnessed...a stampede of rabid toilets...!? Not only that, but the girl who had practically body-slammed him just before was still screaming and walking towards the crapper-esque monstrosities.
Next thing he knew, a group of what Ricky could only describe as rebel mercenary toilet killers came from the opposite direction. One of them, who seemed like a sort of point man, grabbed the girl and essentially was pushing and dragging her away from the porcelain terrors while a sort of capsule went off. Ricky's nose twitched as the strong smell of bleach filled his nose; it was better than the smell of feces nevertheless. A girl who seemed to be acting as the squad's leader approached him and urged him to clear out. Ricky nodded, unable to find the strength to speak, and made his way away from the rampaging bowls. He slipped his gloves back on and followed that blonde girl closely...she'd screamed something about being at Bellefonte earlier, so she was his closest lead to getting back home.

Sebastian gave a brief nod in response to Devyn’s words, “Fine by me. I’m not getting eaten ‘cause of her!” Circling back to round up the blonde, he gave a rough salute with his index finger as he hurried away, “You got it – one ride outta here, coming right up.”
Pausing to pull his radio from its pouch on his belt, Sebastian jammed in the button on the side, “Hotshot, this is Bast. Team needs a pickup – like yesterday. Over.” For several slow and painful seconds he listened to nothing but static until a voice finally crackled through; “Ten Four, help is on the way. Rendezvous at contact point. Over.” Sebastian breathed a sigh of relief, and felt a small weight lift from his chest as he acknowledged the meeting. It almost would have been nice, had he had the chance to enjoy the feeling.
Waving at Devyn to get her attention he gestured back the way they’d come, “Hotshot’s meeting us where the rest of the newbies landed. Let’s not keep ‘em waiting!” Clipping the walkie back in its pouch, he spun around searching for their wards. Noticing that the boy seemed to be wanting to stick close to his companion, he let out a sigh and begrudgingly moved to hold up the rear.
The toilets they’d hit earlier seemed to be shaking it off. Their porcelain may have cracked but it didn’t seem to faze them as they righted themselves and surged towards the rebels. Sebastian, rather than fighting, chose instead to prod Ricky and Serene in the back with his plunger, “Oh, come on, people. It’s almost like you want to die. Move it, move it!” Sebastian called, clearly frustrated as each word was punctuated by an increasingly hard poke, even as they moved back towards the clearing.
Serene was still freaking out. She was being pulled away from a damn toilet for crying out loud. And it wasn't her fault she was so angry. Get the stupid humans away from her and she'd be fine. It was the boy and the girl who were so angry that were making Serene so angry. Curse her stupid powers. Then as she was about to deliver what that toilet rightly deserved she was pulled away.
Serene was still being pulled along with the boy. "This is a dream." she whispered to herself while trying to keep her powers in check, "Just a weird dream where toilets rule the world or something. At least it must be sanitary."
(So sorry it's short and it took a while to get up!)

Devyn chuckled a little at Bast's words on how he didn't plan on getting eaten because of some girl. It was good to know that he had his proprieties straight in such a world that they lived in, where death was of a higher concern. It seemed their two new potential recruits had enough sense to keep up with them as they moved out. Bast was already making the call as Devyn lingered behind a little to make sure everyone was keeping up and that the toilets were at least held at bay somewhere so they would not be followed all the way to the pickup point.
"Don't have to tell me that twice. Let’s get there people! If you make it there alive I promise your first meal will be hot!" Devyn called out to everyone that was with them. She didn't say that said first meal was going to be soup, but at least it was going to be hot once she made in a call. Normally it was cold since you didn't always have the time to heat it up but she planned for them to head back to the main base where you could relax a bit more without having to worry about a toilet showing up and ready to flush you away permanently.
As Bast took up the rear guard Devyn moved towards the front, taking the lead on where they needed to go. So long as every didn't stop they would get there in no time where a moving van was waiting for them. It was not the most leisure style of travel but it was good for getting a large group of people and on the road. "Take us to HQ, Hotshot. I'm thinking that after a mess up like today something to eat and a crash course of this world is what we need before tonight mission." Devyn said to Hotshot as she waited for everyone to load up in the back of the van.
When they all seemed to be in she would hop in a well and they would be on their way so that meant they were at least safe enough to talk. Devyn was more so interested in the two people who got dropped off out of the usual zone, since that didn't happen very often. That and well again one of them had been crazy enough to go towards the toilets and yell at them. "You two, names." Devyn ordered at Ricky and Serene.
((You guys can skip me next time if I take so long to reply. ^-^ Sorry for the wait))

Ricky clambered into the moving van and made his way to one of the darkened corners. His hands started to sweat from nerves and adrenaline, but with the number of people he had around him, and in a moving vehicle, he didn't dare remove his gloves. He made sure there was room next to him for that girl from Bellefonte next to him.
Just as everyone had settled into the moving van, Ricky was snapped out of his moment of slight comfort and relief by that squad leader from earlier barking at him. He sputtered out a quick reply. "Ricky. Ricky Chrome. Um..." he hesitated, "Where exactly am I? One moment I'm asleep in my bed and the next I'm in a literal wasteland, no pun intended!" He didn't exactly laugh, but there was a sort of strangled chuckle in there. His tendency to joke in stressful situations would help break at least some of the tension, so he hoped. Plus, he mused, it could help to distract from the fact that he'd withheld a certain detail, namely, that his bed was in Bellefonte Academy. He didn't know these people, or how they'd treat someone like him.
