François was always a little torn with group projects. He loved people and since he was usually staying on his own, it was a perfect opportunity to meet someone. Groups weren’t so great to him so he was eating alone most of the time, preferably outside, away from the crowd in the cafeteria. It was also pretty hard for him to be in a club. Sports and arts involved performing at some point in front of a lot of people and the last time he watched a game with the rest of the school, he nearly fainted. As for the councils and the like, it involved talking with a lot of student and it was overwhelming. He thought at some point to join the book club but when he saw Ellen was in it, he preferred not to. He was seeing her enough like this. In a way, he found it cruel. He was a people person but he couldn’t stay around people for too long.
He knew nearly nothing of the person he had been teamed up with. Which didn’t mean a lot since François had just recently started to make bonds with the other students. Hanna Rand, that’s about all he knew. Oh well, he supposed he would know more now. After the teams were made, François suggested they met after class at the library to pick up some books and start working. The girl appeared more nervous than he was at the idea of working in pairs and he did feel bad about it but he hoped she’d get used to it before the end. It shouldn’t be too hard anyway. If they separated the work they would be done in no time. He also thought they could get to know each other better. He didn’t spend a lot of time around her but he recognized her face. Like him, she was avoiding crowded space. Did she have a power similar to his? Then again, she appeared quite shy. Maybe it was just her nerve. Nevertheless, he’d learn more about this and who knows maybe he could help her open up a bit.
Franck was like that, he liked to know everyone. And with his ability, it was easy. The shyest ones often turned out to be the loudest with him. When he arrived at the library, he did hope there wouldn’t be too many people. It would be hard to concentrate otherwise, even if they were not at the same table. But luckily it was rather quiet today. So they should be fine. He started looking at the different tables placed in there between the rows of books. Should he pick a table or already scan the shelves for the books they might need? He opted for the books. It would be done. Hanna could pick a table when she would arrive.
