Erin had been texting him the strangest of messages. She had a gift for him. And a surprise to his ferret. Who the hell come up with surprises for ferrets!? Last time, she really seemed to have liked his pet, probably taking even more of an interest in Pips than Quinn himself. Considering he wouldn’t mind not having to deal with Erin, he was fine with her liking him less than his pet but it was still weird to have your animal preferred to you.
Sure, Quinn would have preferred not having to deal with Erin at all but since she knew what room was his and already proved she could get in whenever she wanted, he figured she was not against coming in while he wasn’t there, or even when he was, and give Pips her gift despite what he might think of it. It was annoying to see how little choice he had around this girl. And he couldn’t even pretend it was because she had grown a liking for him, she was lesbian! How nice it felt to know the only person who wanted to spend time with him happened to be gay and so not interesting in him at all. Real pleasant.
Anyway, he told her he was heading back to his room. She said she was close but he couldn’t see her anywhere. He wondered for a moment if there was any camera in the school that she happened to hack to watch him as he replied to her. Who was the biggest creep now! But he remembered she said she could be invisible or something like that. So she probably was in the room only he couldn’t see. Didn’t make it any less creepy. He intended to tell her that but he thought it would have more impact said in person than just a text message. Not to add that he sort of feared what she could do to him if he only texted her and ignored her afterwards. She hacked into his computer because he refused to tell her how to pay him back for his help, he didn’t want to think what she could do when she was angry at you.
So Quinn returned to his room, expecting she was tagging along, trying to listen if he couldn’t hear steps behind him even though there was no one. He had to admit he was sort of curious what she could have possibly bought his ferret.
