It had been a while since Erin had bothered Quinn and she wanted to make sure that the boy had not forgotten about her. That and she didn't want the boy to have thought she had forgotten about him, because she had not. In fact she was actually standing pretty close to where he was, but was using her power to keep her hidden from sight and unable to be heard. She had her phone with her; no surprise there, and was working on a text message to her friend. They were friends, she considered Quinn a friend, even with how he acted like he pretty much hated everyone. She didn't buy that act and also she still had the life debt to worry about.
QU1|\||\|, \/\/|-|3R3 r j00Z? Translation: Quinn, where are you? Since I know you have not master the art of L33t yet, but someday you will. Anyways, I have something for you and Pips. So where you at?
Erin sent the text out, smiling as she remained still and looked off in the direction of where Quinn was. She knew where he was but it would have been creepy if she just showed up behind him, stopped using her powers, and handed over her gift. That was the plan originally but then she got caught up in the whole watching him. She wanted to see how Quinn was like when he was well to himself in a way, so had been watching him for a while. Up until she remembered that she had a gift for the boy and his pet ferret in her backpack.

Quinn knew Erin said they were friends. She called him that last time, before running away. Not like it was necessary because he was too stunned to go after her. And to say what, that they were not friends? Pretty lame, not worth running after someone for. He never gave his number to her. He had no reason to, they were not friends. But she hacked into his computer, so why should he be surprised to get a text message from her? Still, he was surprised.
Got what you meant but why you keep writing like this. harder to read than abbreviations.
He contemplated his answer that took him a while to write thanks to the corrector that kept annoying him with the word abbreviation. He thought about deleting it and ignore her. She deserved to be ignored, after all she did. But he didn’t. Why she still bother with him? And what could she have possibly gotten to him that concerned his ferret!? He went back to his message.
Got what you meant but why you keep writing like this? harder to read than abbreviations. What do you want with Pips?

Yes, they were friend and it didn't matter if Quinn said they were not because it was practically set in stone. If he had any social network site that he uses, she had made sure to put herself on his list of friend. Oh, and of course she grabbed his number and had him in her cellphones, that was easier to do then the hacking was. She figured he would have known that she would have been capable of such a thing so didn't think it was at all creepy or shock inspiring when she sent him a text. Text were a great way to talk to someone at various distances and other then the complication that came from not being able to read emotions from written words.
It still worked out pretty well, and her phone buzzed when she got a text message back. It took longer than it should have for him to text back but she actually expected it to take a little longer. She was watching him and expected more of a whole freak out of her having his number or something but the text was more so worried about Pips. As if she would hurt that cute little creature that she just wanted to snuggle.
It's our secrete code, but I'll text normal since you are not L33t yet. As for Pips, I got him a gift. You too. Are you happy?
Erin sent the text back, moving a little where she was hanging out to try and get a better look at Quinn and how he was reacting to it all.

The shock that Erin had his phone number lasted, oh, about five seconds. If she managed to take control of his computer from her room, finding his phone number must have been pretty easy. It was not like it was a state secret or something. It was weird to be texted though, as Quinn didn’t have a lot of people who’d bother texting or even calling him. Except for his aunt. But he didn’t want to think of his aunt.
A gift. She got her ferret a gift! Who gave ferret gifts? Other people’s ferret, no less. He apparently had one too, or maybe it was a gift meant for the two of them. He wasn’t used to gifts, he didn’t know what to do. Was he happy? Well, if this was happiness, it was a strange feeling.
Why you had to buy Pips a gift? You never mentioned gifts before.
Life debt, yes. Getting virus-free awesome naughty sites, yes. Kicking the ass of some pretty tough boss for him too but certainly no gift was mentioned before. Since she managed to get to his room before to touch his computer, he suddenly feared what she might be doing to Pips.

Yes, Erin had gotten Quinn's ferret and Quinn himself a gift. It might have been weird to get someone else’s ferret a gift, but the ferret was just too darn cute to not get him something. Plus she had ordered it a while back when she had first met the tiny creature. The gift itself had come pretty quickly and Erin had just been waiting for the right time to give it to the boy and his little pet. Now seemed like a good time so after finding him and using her power, she texted him. His first text came in that had Erin letting out a sigh before texting him back.
Cause he is cute and the gift is perfect for him. Of course I would not mention it if I want it to be a surprise until now.
Erin sent the message. She contemplated for a moment if she should add the fact that she was just going to sneak into Quinn's room and give the gift to the ferret that way, but she had decided against that. Breaking into the boys room once should have been enough and she didn't want to make him upset. Or freak him out when he would go into this room to find his ferret wearing what she had gotten the small furry creature. Then the text came asking where she was that had Erin looking at Quinn for a moment. A grin sliding across her lips for a moment as she moved closer towards him, still unseen and unheard.

The only gifts Quinn ever bought to his ferret were small jingling balls he could play with. And a hammock. It was a ferret, what else you want to buy to a ferret! He did try once that big ball you put the pet in so they can roll around. It was supposed to be for ferrets but Pips only tried to get out and didn’t seem to know what to do in it.
I hope it’s not a giant ball he can roll in, he hates those.
Quinn texted her. Somehow, he didn’t think it was. You don’t say a pet is cute and offer them a ball because of it. Then again, it was Erin and Quinn could not pretend he understood her. At least she was no longer rambling about that stupid life debt. He looked up from his phone and around him after her next message. Close meant she could see him, right? It was what it would mean to him. He almost expected her to be above his shoulder or something but he could not see her. Sighing, he went back to his phone.
