*Takes place before IMAC Events*
Erin looked at her phone. Looked at it was not even the best word to use in this situation; she was basically staring at it. It was not that anything was odd about her phone; it was more so her giving herself the mental pep-talk to actually kick on the person's name and send them a text. Something that should not have been that hard, but apparently it was. When it came to the guys she hung out with, it was easy, but she was trying to text a girl. Lydia, to be specific. All she wanted to do was ask the girl if she wanted to take part in the IMAC events with her. Then after to like get hot chocolate or something simple like that.
"This should not be this hard! Just send the freaking text Erin. You will forever be a noob if you don't! It's not like you are asking her out or anything. Just asking if she will be on your team so you can so totally check her out when you use your power. You dog, you bad person. This is why you should remain in your room forever. Damn it, just send it!" Erin talked to herself, having a full on conversation, debate, and then the whole getting back to sending out the text. She spun around her gaming chair a few times before she just sent the text. It took a matter of what seemed seconds to type it out and even less to press send.

Lydia lay on her bed with her laptop infront of her, propped up on a rather thick book, her legs swaying behind her while she played around with a game, wondering what to do with herself, too energetic to sit still, feeling too introverted to sit outside. Then her leg vibrated.
She rolled over and scrambled out her phone, staring at the message and smiling. Her fingers quickly danced across the keypad in delight, responding.

The reply to the text came back fast, too fast. It was not expected at all and Erin kind of just froze for a moment as her eyes read over the text a few times. There were a lot of I's used in that hi and according to the internet that meant something. A lot of I's meant that she was excited and was happy to have heard from her. Having taken the time to actually push the letting I a couple of time and making sure that auto correct didn't try to change it. "She likes me. I know it for sure!" Erin said to Pokémon, looking at her collection of Pokémon stuff animals on her bed.
So I was wondering if you wanted to do the Riddle one with me. I know it’s not really related to your power, but I figured we could give it a try. Then gets like some hot cocoa together after?
Erin sent the text out. Then wished she could pull it back from the text world and delete before Lydia could see it. It was too late however, it was already sent and if Lydia was already looking at her phone then she would have seen it. "Quick! What do I do?" Erin asked her stuff animals, which of course said nothing back. "Right, rule number thirty-two, play it off as a joke. Or rule number twenty, point out that it’s not a date." Erin said to herself, typing again and sending the message.
Not like a date or anything, just you know, casual hot cocoa. All cool like.

Lydia counted the seconds until she got a reply, twiddling her thumbs, setting her phone down next to her, occasionally scooping it up again to glance over it. Making sure that she hadn't somehow missed the notification of when she got a message. When her phone actually buzzed she jumped up and glanced at the screen, and then hastily began typing away at her reply.
The phone buzzed again, only to register a blush and a goofy grin on her face, she edited her reply.
Riddles with your lovely self? That sounds like fun! And hot cocoa afterwards sounds even better~

Erin was already suffocating herself with her pillow after she sent out that added bit to her text massage. Well she was not actually suffocating herself, more so she had her face in her pillow and was trying to suffocate herself. "Eriiiinnn, you are supposed to be smoother than that. You forgot rules number six, don’t friend zone too early. She so is going to take it like you are friend zoning her. When you are not. This should not be this hard. Maybe I should call Quinn...or better yet Tim. As him for some of his dating magic." Erin said to herself, words muffled into the pillow.
Then the text came and she peeked up from her pillow, taking in a deep breath when the words didn't seem to be hurt or anything. Phew, Lydia didn't think she meant it in a friend zone way. Erin wanted to be friends of course, she didn't want to dice into a relationship. Okay, so maybe she did but that was more so because she wanted to drive into something else. The thought made her grin before blushing and resuming burring her face into her pillow as she sent out another text.
You are the lovely one. Meet me at the place before the events starts then? You know where it is?
And hot cocoa will be great. My treat.
Erin sent out the two text. One more mortified that she could not pull a text back after having sent it back. "You are the lovely one? That is so lame Erin; you can’t repeat back what she said. That’s it. Not video game privileges for you for three hours. You lost them. Don't even bother." Erin scolded herself, burring herself now among her stuff animals.

Lovely? What was she thinking? She should have wrote something with a little more ingenuity. She was bad at this. Hopefully Erin wouldn't think she was lame or something. She squealed in joy as she read the text with the same response, fully aware of the large blush forming across her face.
After the second text she rapidly typed out her response.
Yeah! Sounds like it's going to be a ton of fun :3 We will DESTROY those noobs. Just watch them try to mess with us.
... She felt her blush returning.
Aaaaand careful calling me lovely, you're liable to make me blush >.>

The text came back quick, still quick like the others but Erin didn't look at it right away. She was busy trying to suffocate and become one with her stuff animals. Ah, to be a stuff animal would have been the life. To just sit there and do nothing all day. The ones that owned you would hold you close, tell you all their secretes, cry on you, and hold you between their warm chest. Ah, it was beautiful. Erin's mind went down a little fantasy trail for a moment, humming to herself. "What a wonderful world it would be." Erin said out loud, letting out a dreamy sigh. The sound of her phone buzzing at the next text pulled her out of her world as she read them. So many options were in front of her for how she could respond.
Awesome. I expect you to bring your L33t game. I'll see you there in an hour or so then.
What do you mean I'm liable to make you blush? I bet you are already blushing.
Erin sent out, feeling all super confident. She even had a cocky smug look on her face. "Oh yeah Erin, that was so smooth. The history books should write that one down and call it The Erin Tactic." Erin said to herself. The grin staying there for a moment longer before she buried her face in the pillow. The Erin Tactic? That lameness that I am is becoming painful. Erin thought to herself as she lay there.

Lydia worried if what she had said was a little too forward, immediately hiding her face inside of a pillow, as if she was trying to burrow into the pillow with her face. Not with a huge amount of success, mind you. She had her phone next to her head, face down on the pillow, the vibration made her quickly roll over and read through the response. She grinned at Erin's response. The way she did things sometimes was so adorable.
When the second text came through a moment later she blushed scarlet. Time for a witty reply... witty reply...
Shush you... >.>
No no... why did she hit send, that's not quite right.
Drop dead gorgeous people have tendency to do that to me, sometimes I can do it back ;3

The next text had Erin chuckling a little, smiling once more that Lydia clearly was embarrassed. It felt good to not be the one that was embarrassed in a situation. Then again, with how the two of them were around one another, it seemed like they were both always embarrassed and flustered. In fact all the girl that she actually talk to where like that around her. Where were the girls with the backbones that just were not shy and knew what they wanted out of life? Those girls were the hot ones.
Not that the why ones that were also a stumbling less like Erin were not hot in an attractive way. They just didn't get her all...STOP! Erin quickly caught herself before her mind went any further. She was about to send out a text but then the second one came in and just had Erin staring at her phone. Nope, she could not reply. Like she didn't even know what to say besides lies' or repeat the same back. Nope, she was not good at flirting like this when complements reached that high of a level. Well, high level in Erin's mind.
You win.
Was all the Erin managed to type up and send out. Just sinking back into her stuff animals and hiding that way. She didn't know what else to text and just could not even process anything at the moment. She planned to just lay there for a moment, then get a shower, and get ready for the events to meet up with Lydia at.
