Once again the time of year rolled around where the school would take the kids who signed up for the trip off on a little Ski adventure. Devyn had pretty much made sure to go every year since the day she started to attend BA those many years ago. She always had fun, always got into trouble, and she always made sure to make the point of how it was better to snowboard then to ski. Not that she would go beat up all the people using a pair of skies that she came across, but she might have thrown snowballs at them and made sure to speed pass them on her snowboard. Small things like that.
Normally on these trips she was typically with someone; dating or fooling around with, but there was always someone. Not this time and while it was odd to not be explaining to some chic or guy how to ski or keeping them warm by letting them into her jacket, she was okay with it at the same time. Solitude never hurt anyone and it was not like she was used to it. Plus, she was having way too much fun on the slopes to even worry about the details of what she was used to happening every year on the trip. What she did expect to happen at the Ski Lift did happen.
There was going to always be that one person who was new to using the Ski Lift that was just too scared or what have you and they just ended up making everyone have to wait while the attendant did their best to get the person to either sit down or to come back later. Devyn let out a deep sigh as she stood next in line, watching the person struggle with the attendant and debating if she was going to bother to help them get on or scare them off. "This shirt so fits this situation." Devyn said loud enough to be hard by pretty much everyone around her. She was referring to the shirt that could be seen under her unzipped jacket.
