When Jack Mccarthy first arrived in the Bellefonte Academy he…Well lets just say his arrival wasn’t quiet. The school simply wasn’t ready for his natural charm and wit. (It was also the same year that Frank Cox joined the school, so you can just imagine the pain the other newbies had to go through) For the most part many were of the opinion that he was…well to put it bluntly he was dropped on his head as a child and as such was made totally insane. The logic was there. How can a rational person act like the way Jack did and still have all his marbles? Of course over time this opinion has charged…
Now they just think he’s a dick….
But Jack was only really known among his year. If you asked any teachers or any of the older students who he was. You would have been met with shrugged shoulders and shakes of heads. That was until one faithful October night
The night Jack entered the winter mansion….
How could he resist? A party set right in the heart of haunted house? To him that sounded awesome. A perfect chance for him to showoff and make no mistake about it. That was his intention. Where some students were afraid to thread he would step boldly inside. Where People crept and spoke in hush tones as if trying afraid to wake the ghosts no doubt lurking in the house? He would stomp in singing at the top of his lungs with no fear whatsoever. For generations When people utter his name they shall think of him as “Jack Mccarthy: The man who laughs in the face of fear. Who farts in the face of all ghosts and monsters in that cursed house hold”
It didn’t exactly work out like that..
Five minutes after he entered the house he can spiriting out screaming at the top of his lungs and he didn’t stop until he was hiding under his covers in his dorm room.
Ever since then. Jack has been trying with all his power to convince people that there was something screwed up going in that house. For hours he would rant and rave about seeing a ghost stare him down when he was in there. But the problem was his story would often change. First it was a ghost in the shape of a old woman and quickly it turned into a story about Jack being chased down by a monster gorilla (What a monster gorilla was doing in that house only he seemed to know) Obviously Jack having the reputation that he did. They didn’t believe a word he uttered and ever since then Jack had been determined to prove the existents of ghosts inside the house.
Hence why Jack was currently walking through the old creepy house with a hand held camera at the ready, his eyes shifting over his shoulder a few times, paranoid.
..Clearly this was going to end well.
